Rite Aid Presciption errors

Rite Aid used to be Brooks Pharmacy. The pharmacy staff was wonderful, helpful and consistantly professional. Now it is Rite Aid. We have had problems since the change over. There are several prescriptions that have to be taken in our family, that if not taken would result in a serious medical emergency. We are experiencing great difficulty with this pharmacy. We have been accused of picking up a precription which we never received, that took four days to straighten out. We have received directions to medications with our precriptions that are not even ours. They are misplacing faxes from our Doctors office for refills. This is the most recent mess up and it's been two days back and forth between them and the Doctors office and as of today is not resolved. We are all busy in our lives and should be able to count on our personal "drug store" to be professional, do their job, and go one step beyond . We rely on faxes and phone calls, most of us can't physically get to the Doctors office before they close. We have been loyal customers at this location for five years. And as a "neighborhood" pharmacy should be we were treated so in the past, and taken care of. For instance, in the past, if for any reason it was a friday and we were late calling the doctor for a refill, they would help and fill just enough for the following monday, not anymore! I want to do business with a caring pharmacy that listens and understands our needs. We will be changing who we do business with, and I have a feeling I'm not the only one ! --- Disgusted with Rite Aide in Clinton! You need to take a hard look at your staff at this location.

Rite Aid terrible service

I went to Rite Aid today and I was not pleased with Hayley's service she gave to me. I went to school with her so I know her name. She was really rude to me. She didn't greet me when i came in, I asked her a question and she walked away, then I was ready to check out and it took her ten mins. to get to me, she didn't say sorry for taking so long, matter of fact she didn't say anything to me while I was up there. She didn't tell me my total, if I found what I needed, she just stood there like she owned the place. Plus, she didn't say have a good day either. I hate getting rude service. SHE JUST NEEDS TO BE FIRED. SHE IS ALWAYS LIKE THAT EVERY TIME I GO IN THAT STORE. E MAIL NOT!

Yes, the service is awful.A cashier decided that a man came before me and told me that she was going to serve him firs, despite the fact that it wasn't true.I am not going to go there anymore .

Hmmm... What was your relationship like with her when you were in school? My guess is, not good. And it has carried over. Maybe she has a right to not like you. Maybe you were a bully.

I know if my ex-wife came into my store, I would tell her to shove off. In fact, it is more common than you think. Figure your life out before you start making personal attacks on others.

Rite Aid don't take your sons into a saginaw, mi rite aid

I used to work at the Rite AID in Saginaw MI. I was fired because the manager thought I was talking to the police about her sleeping with another employee’s 14 year old son. That’s rape here in Michigan. I was turned into Loss Prevention as a thief, but it was the manager and her friends who were doing the stealing and blaming other innocent employee’s. As with our District Manager (Frank M.) and Loss Prevention (Brad S.) they took the managers (Becky) side, and I was fired for cash shortages on my till. Becky and her friend Connie (the mother of the 14yr old boy) did all my checkouts and I didn’t know anything was wrong until they confronted me and fired me. You bet I’m pissed, I will call the police and local news agencies to get the word out to as many people as I can! Don’t take your sons into a Saginaw Mi. Rite Aid!

Rite Aid terrible customer service!

I used to work for this Rite Aid, and believe me when I tell you that it was horrible. First of all, I was given the very bare minimum of hours, usually between 20 and 25. I later found out that the store managers got a quarterly bonus if they kept their labor percentages low. Meanwhile, their employees are struggling to feed their families and pay their bills.

They refused to make anyone full time, except the 3 managers, making overtime an impossibility. I started out at minimum wage, and after 11 months of working there, I received a 30 cent raise. I was absolutely shocked and offended by that.

Why not find a better job? Around here there are so few opportunities for employment unless you are willing to travel at least an hour to a major city, which at the time I was unable to do.

Moving on, the store management was a joke. They never knew what was going on in the store. The way this company has it set up, a cashier basically can't do anything except ring out a customer, so any refunds, voids, or exchanges had to be handled by management. However, when there is only one person responsible for all of that at any given time during the day, it makes it very hard to deal with customers in a timely fashion. I can't tell you how many time I was left waiting for upwards of 15 minutes, with a confused customer staring at me, wondering why I wasn't refunding her purchase, while I was paging a manager every minute or two. Then management would finally come up and USUALLY resolved the issue quickly, and I was left to deal with the then rude and impatient customer, as if I had done anything wrong.

Shop lifting was apparently not a concern for them, because no cameras were in the store, not even behind the counters! What if someone had tried to rob me while I am standing there? There wouldn't have been any evidence on video! We were always finding empty packages of items, and I was told by the store manager that some months they lost nearly $5, 000 from shoplifting. It wasn't a surprise to me, because people, usually teenagers, came in regularly and left quickly without purchasing anything. Shortly after they left we would find the empty packages stuffed behind merchandise or left on the floor.

Also, as associates, we were told that we could not, under any circumstances, accuse someone of stealing, even if we had seen them steal something, because they could sue the company for profiling. They needed concrete evidence. How were we supposed to get that?! There were ANY CAMERAS ON THE PREMISES!.

Overall, the managers were all rude, moody individuals. They would give you absolutely NOTHING to do for weeks at a time, leaving you to stand at the register for your entire shift, hoping that someone needed help finding something so that you could keep your brain from atrophying. Or, they would give you a ridiculous amount of tasks to be completed in a short amount of time. Either way, it was just a bad situation.

All in all, my experience there was mostly negative. In the end of my 'career' there, I could not wait to leave and move on to bigger and better things.

It really does not matter how many RAPTARS you get the managers just give the rewards to te people that they feel should get it. I know this I have witnessed it. I have been asked who d you think should get it this time? I have seen it also that some person has had RAPTARS four deep which in most cases is about twenty more then other employees and they do not get knowledge at all. so to me it is all for nothing.

I'm an employee at Rite Aid. I've worked there for 3.5 years. I started at 7.00 an hour. I'm currently 7.65. Mind you after the minimum wage increase. I work my fingers to the bone but every day that passes I slowly do less and less because nothing is thanked for. Nothing is praised. Nothing matters to anyone in these stores. I happened to see what a brand new employee, with less education and less experience than me, got hired for a year ago. 7.75 an hour. He's going to get an increase soon, which boils my blood. Whenever he works our customer service score goes down. He sits on the counter when customers are coming in. He constantly plays and when he and one manager work together NO work gets done but the bare minimum, leaving it all for me the next day. Another worker who makes moer than me only stands behind the register and does nothing at all. She just stands there and gets paid for it while I'm running all over the store doing the best I can, doing as much work as I can get done, and kicking myself when I can't because I know management will complain about it to me later. Similar things happen in another store with my best friend. This company doesn't care one lick.

You should work for the distribution center in Dayville, CT. I was just let go from there because I constantly complained about my co-worker sleeping and using racial remarks about african americans. Rite Aid chose to cover it all up. This man is in Loss Prevention, yet was stealing himself. I couldn't believe it when H.R. terminated me instead, they said Rite Aid didn't like complainers, even if my co-worker didn't do his job, at least he didn't complain. ARE YOU KIDDING? I pray every day that they go under. Hopefully my wish will be granted!

I used to work there, was there for 2 years! was promised a first shift job but ended working all nights bc 2 other girls that had there [censor] kissed had first shift mon-fri and no weekends while me, motherof 2 had all nights and weekend makin 7 dollars an hour to kiss [censor] and put up with [censor] all night and weekend! I told them many times that wasnt fair that i worked the times i did and didnt get off till 9 at nite then i would have to go pick up my kids go home which i was driving another 45 minutes after i got off then go home get bath, homework and bed!So...after 2 years of puttin up with this [censor] i gave a 3 weeks notice and left! They are all rude!Big company people would come in and tell you everything to do then leave and at the store i worked at the manager was always up front by him self but was also suppose ta be in the back puttin a truck which is about impossible but he got wrote up for this! they treat people like [censor]! WHIT US ITS PERSONAL AND NOW 15 MINUTE RX'S...LMAO! THIS IS [censor]! THEY NEED TO SHUT THERE DOORS! I HOPE THEY GO UNDER SO FAST! I TRANSFERED ALL MY RX'S AND THEY KEEP SENDING ME COUPONS FOR 25 DOLLAR GIFT CARDS TO COME BACK...HELL NO...I THREW THOSE AWAY AND WILL NEVER STEP ANOTHER FOOT NOR WILL ANY OF MY MONEY EVER...EVER GO TO ANOTHER RITE AID STUPID COMPANY AGAIN! RITE AID TREATS THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE DOGS. Rite Aid rx error

On [protected] metronidazole 250 mg tab was prescribed by doctor flanagan, an error was made by rite aid by giving me 30 ciprofloxacin tab 500 mg instead. On 2-29-08, i went to complain and was told, they had made a mistake and corrected it. The pharmacist said someone else made the error and gave me a phone number to call to complain. Please advise. I'm confused, Andy Troszok' company ...www.pharmacy-online.ca/drugs/fosamax.jsp responded to this e-mail but it is posted by "Canada Drugs" which has very bad reviews. "Pharmacychecker.com" is another scam too. I am confused as to whether Mr. Troszok's company "Extended care pharmacy" is legit too. I'm sure this blog which hasn't been commented on in over a year will be full of "positive" reviews in his defense full of links and phone numbers promoting the site.

Rite Aid lost prescription

I put in 2 requests at the pharmacy: one was a refill and the other was new prescription. The intake person said it would take approximately an hour, which I thought was odd because they are not known for having several items in stock. I returned an hour later to find that the refill was complete, however they had to order the new script which would take 2 days.

I returned 2 days later and they said there was no prescription on file. I told them in great detail the description of the intake person at 6:30 PM on Monday, as well as a description of the guy who told me he would order it approximately 8 PM the same night. Luckily the second pharmacist was still working when I called. He had to search for the prescription & would call me back. Two hours later he called back to say he found my new prescription. It was filled the following day.

I think that's extremely scary that a pharmacy could "lose" a prescription, because they are all written on small pieces of paper. Even more terrifying is t here's been ID theft taken from prescription drug labels nowadays! Rite Aid's system of checks & balances had failed.

I'm concerned if I should go back there to fill my future prescriptions.

The cashiers on the floor are rude and not on task. some even twirling and dancing around. I fell on the floor and no one came to my assistance although visible from pharmacy and an associate nearby. Luckily I was not injured. Please rectify this or this is another Rite Aid bound to close. Employ mature associates with customer service knowledge.

Pharmacist unwilling to fill prescription of antibiotic due to error in amount disp and days. both over 7 days. Pharmacist wont even give enough for 1 day until error resolved. This delay could easy lead to someone coming septic and/or needing hospitalization. BTW I am a healthcare provider.

I have my medines refilled or ordered and done but lately the Rite Aid on 1060 east main st,Bridgeport,ct 06608 They are closing the pharmacy section because lack of pharmacist not working there they do not open three or more days I will be changing my business there and informing my insurances.

The Mt. Shasta store is the worst one i have ever been in. The pharmacy never answers calls, long long lines, always confused. It has now taken me ten days to pick up diabetic supplies. Still not ready. The store does not have sales items frequently. Many times no gift cards can be issued because of electronic problems.

I went to pick up my meds at the rite aide pharmacy. I was told the pharmacy was closed in both warrenton, or. And seaside or. For a week. Its a long drive to another rite aide. The reason the pharmacys were both on vacation for another week. I'm out of my pills I need them 4 days ago. This is unacceptable.

ABSOLUTELY the worst pharmacy i ever had to deal with. short hours made even shorter depends what time they feel like going home. absolute incompetence from everyone in this pharmacy. we won’t even mention all the times they are past due and don’t have you monthly medications in stock (every month). honestly a joke of a Pharmacy
