This is a third-party hotel booking site with call center taking your credit card info in Guatemala Central America. Unlike other booking sites (Hotels.com, Travelocity, etc) they create a web page for a hotel that is a really good spoof of the hotel's actual web site. Very difficult to see that you are not on the hotel's web page unless you study the full string of the URL address. The phone number to call must be set up unique to each hotel because unlike other booking sites, they already know what hotel you want, they don't have to ask. Even verifies the hotel name and address without being asked so they really make you think you are talking to a hotel in New Jersey. What tipped me off was that I was going for a special group rate and the "reservation clerk" put me on hold to "check with the front desk". Came back saying both that there was no record of the group and that all rooms at that group rate had been booked. Never mentioned that he could not give the group rate becaue he had nothing to do with the hotel. FRAUD!!! Got caught when I checked with the promoter and found out that my reservation was made through a third party. Cancelled right away; they don't make it easy to do that, took two calls. Sure, maybe the booking would have worked out OK if it had not been for the group rate. Their rate was the same as the hotel's regular rate so no benefit giving your credit card number to a Latin American internet scam operation.
