NJ Transit bus 137

Every morning and I mean every morning the scheduled 6:10 departure from Dorado Plaza in Brick is 5 to 10 minutes late. This bus originates at the Lakewood terminal makes one stop at Dorado Plaza and then express to NY.
We have complained to the driver and he says nothing and continues to be late. Obviously the driver doesn't care about the schedule and does he own thing. The buses prior to and after the 6:10 are on time 99% of the time.
In fact the 6:25 was pulling up as the 6:10 departed today.
It's time to remove this driver from the route.

NJ Transit bus 160t express route

NJ Transit needs to get their drivers to get to stick to schedule. For far too long we commuters pay our dues with increasing fares for a third world country service. They have removed express bus routes and now buses are full, not on time and always late getting to their destination. This has to stop and improve. Should I lose my job due to continuous delays I will file a lawsuit of millions of dollars to compensate for loss of income and reputation. Myself just as thousands of commuters rely on NJ transit to provide transport to commute to NY for work or many other reasons. Local buses take almost 2 hours to get to port authority from saddle brook, express buses that are ontime take 40minutes. There aren't enough express buses service the communities of saddle brook, fair lawn and wallington. NJ Transit for some reason only has 4 express buses between 645am and 725am and for that matter they are always always late by 10-20mins. Please can you act?

NJ Transit bus number 5876 complaint.

On Sunday 11/13/16 at around 2:42 PM on my way towards Jersey City, I waived the driver on Bus route 84 to stop. The driver noticed and ignored me and failed to stop. I was at the bus stop and made sure the driver saw me, to the point I ran a few feet to see if the driver would stop. The bus number was 5876 in route towards Journal Square in Jersey City. Please follow up. Not only was I late for work, but I had to call a taxi cab. This is not the first time it happens with the same driver. A previous time I had to literally jump infront of the bus for the driver on 84 around the same time to make a full stop. This is not only unacceptable but is putting passengers at risk.

NJ Transit the announcements over the loudspeaker.

I live on west lincoln ave in roselle park, nj. From my living room I have heard the announcements from the njtransit train station. The announcements are only for the riders waiting for the train correct? Why is it so loud that I can hear it way across the parking lot, way across the street? This has been all day.

NJ Transit 815 bus 6167

The driver is very impatient and drives the bus extremely fast and violating the safety standards of the roads. She come ten early before departing so it causes everyone to be late for work or for where ever they are going. She's an immigrant from Cuba and hates American people. Especially, white people, Puerto Rican American people, and African Americans. This is so wrong and somebody from the Perth Amboy or New Brunswick area will attack her soon. Its only a matter of time. She has countless of arguments and no one likes her. Get her out of here.

NJ Transit bus driver / bus 7671

Entering the Lincoln tunnel this morning, headed into the city. Cars and buses were merging one and one. When it was my turn this bus driver for Bus 7671 bullied me out the way, then hit my side mirror backwards due to him coming so close and he laughed in his side mirror once I was behind him. If my 4 & 13 month old weren't in the car. This is when people get hurt or have issues because this was deliberate and dangerous. This driver needs to be written up, 6:31/6:33am.

NJ Transit route 64 bus pm schedule

Long lines after 5PM. Route 68 bus runs frequently, while the 64 does not. Yesterday (5-19-16), I waited for 45 minutes for a 64 bus to finally come in. In that time-span, 5 route 68 buses came & went - the last arrived just before a 64 bus finally arrived. The 68 didn't even have any passengers to pick up since one just left a couple of minutes before.
Driver of the 64 bus said lots of traffic getting out of the terminal. How is it possible, then, that the 68 ran so frequently?
If they know there's a problem, why not re-route some of the 68 buses to the 64 line while they rearrange to better service their customers?
NJ Transit could care less about their customers. The buses aren't even that clean - several times I get stuck sitting next to a window that has grease-like smudges all over it from peoples' hair - gross!

NJ Transit unexceptable behavior of drivers

I regularly ride the nj transit bus 1. I often, find that the drivers on the route going from springfield ave and mlk heading to exchange place, have some unacceptable behaviors. For example, on yesterday (3/21/16 @around 3:39p) I had to wait a while before any buses showed. Then approximately 5 buses was approaching the stop at the same time, so the no. 1 exchange place went around some of the buses, which in turn the driver passed me up. Needless to say, I hopped on another no 1 trying to catch up with it, to no avail. I had to stand in the cold for approximately 45 mins. -1 hour for the next exchange place bus.

NJ Transit not letting waiting passengers in

Today 12/15/15 at 6:05 pm, I ran to catch the 186 bus going to nj. The bus doors were closed and the driver refused to open the door even though there were only 3 people left waiting and anyway the bus had left the GWB terminal yet or even moved from its spot where it had been letting passengers in. The bus was not full or overflowing and had plenty of room for more passengers. Now since the terminal is not organized, we have no clue where the next bus will stop... At stop A? B, C, D? Seriously unfair to those passengers who have been waiting at the beginning of a line who cab suddenly end up at the end of the line if the bus stops somewhere else! You charge so much money yet treat passengers a crap even though we riding the transit lines are also what gives you all jobs... How unfortunate that this behavior happens always even through the holiday season. Yesterday my colleague and I were forced to drive to work because the 186 refused to stop even though my colleague was at the corner waving him down right next to the stop ( s Washington ave and elm street) . I get on at the armory and really wanted to give a peace of my mind to the driver who ignored my colleague at the elm st stop but I didn't... Thinking what good is it going to leave me with ? High blood pressure? It's so sad that the system is so awful and we have to pay so much for crappy service. All the mean drivers all I wish for you is the same courted you bestow on others. Happy Holidays!

NJ Transit #607

A new bus driver was assigned to this route the second week in September; and has been consistently late Monday - Friday. The bus, according to the schedule is to arrive at my stop at 8:45 a.m. When I say late I'm not talking 5 minutes, I'm talking 15 to 20 minutes; if it's raining, 20 to 25 minutes. If for some reason, we have another driver, the bus is on time. So why can't the regular driver be on time?

NJ Transit beverly/edgewater river line station

I live across the Beverly/Edgewater Light Rail station, since 2003. I have no problem with the train, but about 18 months ago NJ Transit changed some of their communications stuff on the station, including a marquee sign that scrolls continuously and a PA system that is set way too loud. I complained before and they eventually did tone it down but not enough, and they tilted their loudspeakers to aim more at the floor of the station. What they need to do is put it under the roof so that only the people on the platform hear it and not the residents who live in the houses around the station. I can hear the messages with the doors and windows shut, especially in my bedroom. So tonight (Nov 6) I got home around 7:30 and it was sending out a message about the train being 15 min late due to something and when I actually listened to it, I heard that the train would be late all weekend. It's now 3:30 am, and I've been hearing this same message since I got home at 7:30 and here's the kicker - it's repeating about every MINUTE. Still. Nobody is at the station since the last train stopped around 9:30. I cannot contact NJT because nobody is in the customer service office until Monday at 8 am. What do I do till then? They create an unacceptable situation and what - THEY go home and go to bed while I and probably half the neighborhood can't sleep because of their NOISE POLLUTION... I want someone with authority to call me an apologize and tell me just how they are going to make this right. How do I get my lost time back? How do I make up for the rest I don't get. I am afraid that this message is going to keep playing every minute all weekend. I'm going to have to go to a hotel or somewhere so I can get some sleep. Are they going to pay for that? How are they going to make me whole? I want assurances that this will NEVER happen again. And I want the loudspeaker moved to the interior of the station AND I want it turned down by half. Truthfully, I want it gone. And I want a working phone number I can call if something like this happens again - a number with a person who will actually answer and can call for resolution. I'm tired of their arrogant might-makes-right disregard of the residents of this neighborhood.

NJ Transit dangerous driving

On the 30th September 2015, around 8:15 pm this bus was racing all other vehicles on the road making dangerous turns (Newark st into Jackson st) without indicating. And then the driver almost pushed me off the roads while overtaking me from the right after the light railroad crossing (Paterson ave) at the turn! It could have been a weekend and the last schedule for the driver, maybe wanted to go home early, but this kind of driving on narrow roads is unacceptable. Please take necessary action.

NJ Transit bus service on the 119 and 10

I have two complaints. Why is it we have to wait 30 mins or more for a #10 bus and then they are packed and we have to wait another 30 mins. specially in rush hours, and mornings when people are trying to get to work on time. I used to get the 10 bus at Journal Square station about 7.10pm I got so sick of the drivers leaving us standing in all kinds of weather while he turns of the bus lights, and at times lets a women on for 30 mins + Even if it's not time for him to leave he could have the decency to let people sit inside instead of freezing. The drivers also take a nap surely that is not in your rules. They do not get paid to sleep do they? This is very hard on everyone especially senors. We pay enough so could you please give us better service. Secondly, Today 10/20/15 &10/21 and other dates the bus driver on the Bus #6011 approx. 7.18pm will not stop to pick up passengers at bus stop #30232. We stand in the middle of the road and signal him to stop, but he will not stop he just flies by. I stand at this bus stop every evening with lots of other people trying to get home hoping to catch No. 10 or #119.to Bayonne. Why are some of your driver's so nasty, and have such terrible attitudes and speak to people in such a nasty tone of voice. If they do not like people then they shouldn't drive a bus.Why don't you give your driver's classes on how to conduct themselves and how to have respect for their passengers being courteous goes along way, and it doesn't cost him anything.I know this world has become uncaring and disrespectful, and down right rude special in NY and NJ. Hoping you care enough to try and make a difference to make other peoples lives a little easier. Thank you.

NJ Transit lunatic conductor sought only to harass and break the law

On Saturday, Sept 19, I boarded a train in South Amboy headed to Penn Station. I was stunned when the conductor on this train, 7660, a very overweight, middle aged man, with glasses and acne scarring, undertook a campaign of true harassment. His only intent was to annoy and frighten me. There was no other reason at all for his actions. 1- He refused to accept the $50 dollar bill I handed him for my ticket, claiming he was not allowed to accept fifty dollar bills! No only is this untrue and ridiculous, it is also illegal. While it may be hard for someone to make change, or they may be afraid of counterfeits, that is the problem of the person receiving the bill. $50 and $100 bills must be accepted by businesses, including this PUBLIC corporation (which means it is owned by you and I). 2- When I noted the $50 bills were all I had, he continued with his lies. However, he was unable to point out which statute or common law decision allowed him to refuse my $50 bill. Obviously outclassed, he then told me, in front of other passengers, I was "stupid" and "full of [censored]." 3- He also ordered me off the train at the next stop, saying I would have to use my credit card to buy a ticket at the next stop and take the next train (Perth Amboy to NY.) Fortunately the man sitting next to me pointed out how, if I did so, I would have to wait one HOUR for said train. That would have made me miss the lecture I was going to at the New School. 4- Instead of backing off his lies and harassment, the conductor got even nastier, claiming I shouldn't bother him, because he could have me thrown off the train FOR ANY REASON. HAHAHA. This is TOO FUNNY. Another lie about the law, which is clear that his claim is nonsense. 5- He then tried to scare me some more by saying he would call police to arrest me at the next stop if I didn't get off or kept arguing with him. 6- He also laughed at me during our give and take. When I noted how he resorted to insults and vulgarity, while I simply argued the point, he seemed taken aback, as if reality was crashing on him and he was afraid of getting to trouble. 7- Luckily the man next to me gave me change for the $50, thereby ending the standoff. 8- I stopped another conductor, an Asian woman, and asked where I could file a complaint, but she mumbled and walked away never to return. 9- Even if NJ Transit was permitted to refuse $50 or $100 dollar bills, it would have to make that policy clear tot he public Of the ten signs I counted in my part of the train, not one even addressed the issue of payment! 10- When I called the NJ Transit "customer service" line today, I spoke with a man who was almost as nasty and arrogant as the conductor. He sounded as interested as a deaf man, and failed to even tell me what would become of the complaint, or how he was documenting it. My guess is he took no notes, and I will simply get a response saying NJ Transit "investigated" and found no fault. When I threatened to take the issue to the Governor's Office, he hung up! 11- I am giving NJ Transit one last chance to fire this conductor, apologize to me, and give me my money back for the trip. Short of that they will find themselves in Small Claims Court for breach of contract, fraud, and harassment. They failed to honor the contract they have with riders that they will provide their service for a certain fee; they engaged in wild lies about the law and their service; they intimidated and bullied me to the point where I actually agreed to pay them with the small bills given to me by the man next to me; they claim to offer a service, then deny that service in an arbitrary and capricious, in fact illegal and discriminatory, manner. 12- Of course it ended poetically. On my trip home, knowing the lummox conductor had lied, I decided to proof it. I handed the conductor a $50 bill, which he gladly accepted and then gave me change for.

NJ Transit lazy and rude conductors

I took 8:05 pm train last Friday, September 4, 2015. The conductors only opened a couple of cars. It was very crowded and I had a hard time to find a seat. Everybody squeezed together in the hot train. Someone asked the male Africa America conductor to open another car, he said they do not want to clean up more cars. People got very upset with the conductor. The old conductor who is in charge of the conductors came over, he was very rude old man and yelling to the crowds. He said he would not open another car, anyone do not like it, can get off the train and take the next one.

NJ Transit disgusting customer service and refunds

I am a an international student staying in NJ. I had a quick-tik account of NJ transit and it processed my monthly pass of MAY 2015. As the schools are closed, I returned the pass before the starting of May but I have not received my refund yet. I called the customer care for like 6-7 times, also had a conversation with the manager but, the only response I get is your check will be processed in one week. I am fed up of calling them and waiting for my refund as it has been 4 months already (which is 2-3 weeks in the ideal case). I am very disappointed by their service and it shows that they are not willing to return my money.

NJ Transit nj transit 24 bus driver is the worst

There is a bus driver that drives the 24 at 4:10 on central ave before hitting evergreen and he's Haitian with a weird old looking face and I think y'all know who I'm talking about. NJ Transit aggressive and dangerous driver

On Friday, June 5, 2015 approximately 11:05 pm, I was merging towards the Lincoln tunnel entrance. There was a car directly in front of me and a bus was moving in slowly on the right side. As I moved toward the tunnel entrance, there was a slow down and then the car in front of me moved. The bus was still on the side so as I advanced to the car in front of me, the bus sped up very quickly and in an unsafe manner because it cut me off and was just inches away from my car. He merged in front of me and pushed me out of the way. I was scared and could not understand why a driver with passengers on the bus would drive so recklessly. I hope that someone can review the video of this incident and please respond to my complaint. The number on the back of the bus was 7698. Thank you in advance for your attention.
