My lifetime payments for loved ones
I paid for a lifetime site for two family members.
Now the sites are gone along with precious videos, pictures, timeline etc that I can no longer get back.
This was a place my family could go to light a candle, add pictures and relive the precious memories of my mother and father-in-law.
Many of these pictures we don't have anymore and the words of love are no longer there.
I am very hurt that over lost so much of our love and life with our loved ones.
Desired outcome: I want my sites restored.
Memorial page gone
I created a memorial page when my husband died in 2005. Filled with pictures, memorial candles, posts from friends and family over the years and now we can't access our page. This was my son's go to for his father. He was only 4 when he died and has no memories of him at all. He constantly needs memories and pictures of his father and this was the one place where he could get them all. We have lit candles and shared with many over the years. We paid to have lifetime access and now everything has just disappeared.
I would like this fixed or at least to have access to be able to save everything from our memorial.

Years ago, I paid the lifetime membership to remember my brother Mike who was murdered while in the Navy. Several times a year, I post a link to his website on my Facebook page in hopes that someone, somewhere, might know something and we might find out more about the 6 people said to have killed him.

We had many pictures on both sites, comments from friends and loved ones and our lifetime memorial sites we paid for are gone or not active. I have tried reaching out to Memory Of on Facebook but there has been no response.
We would like to see our lifetime accounts restored, active and showing. If the website is no longer functioning, they should release the pictures and comments to us so we can create new memorial sites on a more current website. If they cannot do that, they should issue refunds for all the lifetime members who paid for a memorial site.
Desired outcome: 1. Get memorial sites working. 2 If they cant, send comments and photos back to families. 3. If they cant, issue a refund for all lifetime memberships paid.

October 11, 2021: Today's Date
My 13 y/o son passed in 2005. Everything that was put into the site, all the messages, all the photos, tributes, were all a step in the healing process. It's a shame that all the effort and memories are just sitting in the dark somewhere. I feel for everyone who has/had devoted their time, efforts, and memories, only to find that they no longer can be found. This site should have informed ALL of the families ahead of time instead of just pulling the curtain with no notifications. It is very hurtful to all of us who have lost our loved ones. They have collected money from all of us who are "lost" or in mourning without any consideration for any of us. This site should at least offer everyone an opportunity to be able to retrieve all the photos, tributes, and everything else that is associated with each of our loved one's site, as this belongs to "US". This is very sad as my son's departure date is in a couple of days.

I created and paid for my daughter's site in 2005. I added photos, drawings, and original poems. I believed they would be secure, as I paid for it! I don't have hard copies of a lot of it anymore. I used the site! I need to find someone who can help me get access enough to get it or have it sent to me somehow! This is just losing it all again! How can they just take something so important? Ive had this memorial page for my husband since 2005. I paid the money to have it be up forever, but it has not been up for a couple of weeks now and there is nobody to contact for information. I am very upset that all the candles, tributes and condolences may be gone forever.
I have no clue who to contact or what to do about this situation, but at the least, if this site is gone for good, I would like my money back since I paid for what was suppose to be forever up on the internet.
UPDATE: I just checked today, May 8th, 2018, and the site is back up. Not sure what happened, but glad it is up now and hopefully it will stay that way.

I created a website for my husband, with 95 photos, and want to access it, and it is not there! He passed away July 18, 2004. I have since moved, re-married, yet want the kids to see his site again. It is not there, and the "contact us" form has an error message when I submit it. I am reading other complaints, and it appears to be a ghost company. Takes your money, and thing go away after time...I want my site restored, and all other sites restored as well. Whomever paid for a "lifetime" site should have it.

I paid for lifetime sites, Zak Varma and Chloe Varma. So much was posted on here that we cannot access. I just want to be able to get back what is there. My grandchildren were taken 10 years ago so we need to get back what we have there. It is so important for us to have this as it was posted not long after their deaths when emotions were still very raw. This company posted that they were working to resolve the problem but since then, nothing at all.

I cannot get onto my daughter Lily's site! I am at a loss. She would be turning 11 this December and I go there often and I keep thinking it will be active again soon, but no. Is there anyone to contact? My mom paid for a lifetime membership for us and I am so sad that I cannot visit her! Our story was on there! I do not have a copy of it and over the years I added to it!

I for one understand how you feel dear...the site has posted a message that has gone way past 'a few days'. what I am reading here is very unsettling. after all the uploading of photos and candle lightings (9 years worth)..PLUS paying these people for the forever package.. the site always seems to go down whenever my daughters anniversary comes around... just when you need it most, you know? take good care and don't let it get you down.. all we can do is learn how to cope.. its never over and we know that's the truth!

Today is 18 January, 2013 and the memory-of website is down and it is loaded with viruses and torjans. BE CAREFUL. IF this site every gets back up and running, I would remove your information and shut the site down. My son's website has random candles lit and posts that look like they are from me, but they are not. It's all so strange and sad. Be careful, this site is now being run out of Isreal so good luck trying to get your money back.

I light a candle for my husband every single day. It's like they are taking him away fromme again, every time I attempt. I have a life-time membership for his site, as well as my sisters. This is very upsetting. When my banks website is going down, they have the courtesy to drop me an email, telling me this will happen and when.
They should do the same for us. I am concerned, this is the longest it's been down.

debiting my credit cards triple each month
These people are crooks, they have a non existant support, there is no telephone number to contact anyone and inquiry's and complaints are never addressed. I signed on with them close to 2 years ago, I did not know how long I would keep the memorial open so I set up a recurring month to month. Then after a year I decided to just pay online each month with my credit card. A few months ago I began seeing notices on the website telling me that the memorial sponsorship would expire in 7 days unless I paid. I remember thinking that I had paid not long before but I went ahead and paid for that month. The following week I checked my account and flipped because they had submitted Three debits for the same amount, one on the day I paid and two more the following day. I sent them an email. All I received was that same acknowledgement that someone would contact me within 24 hours. Never happened, then the following month they again submitted a Triple debit without my permission, and then again this month a Triple debit. Something told me to check my other credit card account because originally I had used that card to pay each month and sure enough four months of Triple debits. They will not respond to my emails and their "alledged" staff have no "names" other than some cutsey baby picture and a nickname. What kind of company is this. I am complaining to the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. What they are doing is illegal. I've also found out that a large portion of the Online Memorial's are affiliated with them. This is my last month with these crooks, but if anyone knows of any memorial websites that are not part of "Library of Life Foundation" please let me know.

Wow only if i had seen these complaints before i signed up.I am experiencing the same issue from this company. I attempted to log on to my mother's memorial and was unsuccessful since it had been CANCELED. However every month faithfully i am CHARGED with no problem. I called that [protected]# and its not in service. What a joke, but guess who does not find it funny. I really appreciated being able to go to the memorial site and feel close to my mother and now i dont have that option THANKS ALOT TAL

I have had the same experience. I have contacted my bank and am told that I have to close the card and obtain a new one. If anyone has contact on Tal please post. I am sure that we all are aware of this scam now. The site is registered in Israel. The numbers dont work. There is no contact info.
This web site is total crooks! My mother's memorial website has not been accessible since Thanksgiving 2011(or probably before, i don't visit it daily, so i cant be sure when it stopped working) They have taken the payments every month, sometimes twice OR MORE!, usually making things overdraft by taking it out an excessive amount of times, and the website STILL does not work. I have attempted to cancel, and the charges are still appearing on my credit card. The customer service is DEPLORABLE/NON-EXISTANT. Numerous e-mails have been sent to their customer support with no response. I am just intrigued how this is still going on after scamming so many people.
Back when my father died in 2005, I made a memorial site for him with Memory-Of.com. Back then it was a one time fee for lifetime, not a reoccurring charge. Since that time there were problems I ran into and I did have one heck of a time getting someone to answer my troubles, but the email finally got to the right person, Henry Chamberlain with LifeStageMedia who actually owned Memory-Of.com up until at least late 2008.
Due to my personal anguish, I do not visit the site often, only on special occasions. Today would have been my fathers 78th birthday so I was going to share his site again with family and friends. However when I tried to go to the site, it does not exist! I know within the past 60 days it was up and running as I went to my fathers site to get the info on how to make a memorial site for another friend who's father recently passed away.
I am so hurt not to even mention extremely upset.
I am thankful that who ever owns the site now has never tried billing me monthly nor sent me an email stating they would be starting to do so, but this is probably because at the time of my fathers death, I had a different checking account so therefore no way for them to try to bill me again for what was supposed to be a one time payment for lifetime!

Our 27 year old daughter was killed in an auto accident on her way home from work as a Pediatric Intensive Care nurse. We set up a memorial site for her in 2006. The last year or so, we have been getting double and triple debited and then receiving e-mails saying that the site would be shut down for non-payment. I have sent several (15 to be exact) e-mails to this company and received the automated response that someone would be in contact with us and told us to reference a "Ticket number". No contact was ever made. How pathetic these people are to prey on grieving families! The Attorney Generals Office has been notified as well as the other authorities. Don't be scammed by these people!
Ive talked to my bank, they will take action if I ask them too since some of that is unauthorized charges.. I would like to see Tal step up and make it right with all of us before it comes to that though.

Tal - in your reply up there to someone you said if you CALL you will be more than happy to help with the problems. Problem is Ive called your company now twice in 2 days and never get a return call. This website takes advantage of the bereaved. It is an unmonitored setting that takes credit card payments, yet issues error messages for any problem with content posting or contact messages. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they say "complaint is not within their scope of service". Turns out the company operates out of the Cayman Islands as "LIFESTAGEMEDIA". They have a wedding website as well as a memorial website.
Here it is tomorrow, my mother's birthday and I am finding myself here yet another year looking for a darn site I paid a lifetime membership to. but it is nowhere to be found. This is torture year after year and somebody needs to be held accountable for this. All of her memories, voice etc are on that site and nowhere else.
WIsh I knew of a way to retrieve what we put our heart and soul into making my husband's memorial site... truly saddens me :(

This website sells memorial web pages for your loved ones that are deceased. They have had problems with their server for over 7 months now. Many of us have paid money to build these sites, only to have them not working at all. I have not been able to hear background music on my son's site for 6 months or more, and they will not let you address the problem in the forum section of the site, and it is quite frustrating. There seems to be no telephone number or address to file a complaint, and when you send an email, you get the same automatic generated response that they are fixing their server problems, etc, etc, etc, but still, nothing is done. I am heartbroken, after the countless hours and days after my son died, that I cannot just cancel with them because all of he tributes people wrote for the kast 3 YEARS will be lost forever. I wish somthing could be done about this.
