I made my Dad's memorial website in 2005 and paid the lifetime fee for it to always be available. It worked perfectly fine for many years and was a place I visited often to light candles and leave my Dad messages on special occasions. I spent a lot of time and effort making this tribute to him, with a picture slideshow, music, family tree, memories people could post about what he meant tom them, and it was such a place I cherished. Problems began with music no longer working, my access to edit his page and then eventually it was JUST GONE. No warning or even the decency to give me the option to download my page on a USB stick before they just took it down. I would like an explanation and where my pictures and information are at.

I can't get into my son's account for the last 3 years this account was paid in full

My mother passed away in 2006. My brother and I purchased a lifetime membership for us to have a tribute that her great grandchildren would be able to see. The two of us spent hours, weeks, months and years building this site. Much of the family contributed and now the pictures and all that we put into this has disappeared. The money spent isn't even our issue. The fact that we utilized this site often as did our family as well as all of the pictures that are now lost. The site has been unavailable for the last few months. I want to get my pictures back. Friends have uploaded photos that can never been retrieved again. My son is growing up and wants to see pictures of his dad. Please help get my photos back.

I purchased a lifetime membership in 2004 and have tons of photos videos and messages from friends and relatives on this site of my son's [protected]@memory-of.com. Now every time I go to it it says temporarily unavailable. I have been trying to get access to the site for several months.All of the messages from friends & relatives are irreplaceable. Does anyone know how to gain access to this site?

My sister bought me a lifetime membership on this site in November 2004 after my 20 year old son was killed. I invested my heart, soul and tears into creating Michael’s memorial as it also served as a grieving tool. Hundreds of loved ones would write tributes, light candles and it was a way for us all to memorialize my beloved son-4ever20.

My sister died in 2014. I’m heartbroken that this company cheated and took advantage of people at their most vulnerable time and didn’t give any of their customers any warning that the site would be deleted. Certainly immoral. How is this legal? What can be done to make the owners of this site responsible? We should sue these hucksters with a Class Action Suit. That is, if they can be identified. Who is with me?

I purchased a lifetime page back in 1999, after my daughter committed suicide. I have many photos and comments that I now can not access. What is going on?

I spent years using this website as a tribute memorial to my daughter. it included news articles, photos, videos, and many, many candle tributes. This site has completely disappeared and all of this information has disappeared with it. I paid for a lifetime membership. It has to be somewhere. I just want my information back.

Despite having purchased a lifetime memorial page on Memory-of.com, the site has been down for months, the web page to which I added photos, messages, and memorials can't be accessed, nor can I access the material which was shared. When going to the site, there same message has been posted for months: "Memory-of.com is temporarily unavailable. We appologize for the inconvenience. Please check back in a few days." It is disheartening that even if the company could no longer sustain operations, that it wouldn't make available the personal materials that were shared on the site. Other family members and friends posted message of support for us and memorials to our deceased daughter. These messages are priceless. I also posted an annual tribute to my daughter that became an important tradition in my grief journey. Losing the record of those posts brings tears to my eyes. I am only looking to retrieve what had been posted on the page.

The pictures, the articles, the posts!

My son's memorial with photos and notes and stories is gone. Is there any way I can retrieve all the photos and items that I stored there? The website memory-of.com has been inaccessible for months. Have any other folks been able to retrieve their loved ones photos from this website? There has not been any direction from the actual website as to how those of us who paid for this service and added memories over the years can retrieve anything.

Have loaded many photos over the years that are irreplaceable in memory of my dear deceased husband, Charlie Quist, as paid for life time page years ago & site no longer available. For months it has indicated to check back in a few days, yet emails unavailable. Payment aside, I wish to recover the photos from site immediately and for shame on those caused such frustration for those of us grieving our loved ones. Please advise further action required as I also intend a request to the Better Business Bureau in hopes to expedite since this was supposed to be a life prime site.

I purchased a site for my brother (mathew-perea-memory-of.com) shortly after he passed away unexpectedly in 2004. I've used it off and on to share stories, leave letters, light candles, and post pictures. This has been for me to cope and grieve. I haven't been able to access his website in almost a year. This website has been off and on and when it's off it's off for lengthy periods of time. This is not fair to those who have paid out of their own pocket and were promised a lifetime website. Grief itself is hard enough, and sometimes little things like these help us all get through because it's a place of solace. I get that times are hard, but promising your customers a lifetime website if you can't keep it RUNNING for a lifetime is a really really shady practice.

I paid lifetime membership to Memory-of website in 2013 and created a page for my late sister story and memory. Lately, family, friends, and myself tried to lite a candle and write in her memory and we can't locate the website. This was one of the way I express my feelings, wishing her holidays. I uploaded lots of pictures and videos and need someone to tell me what is going on with the website.

I paid for a lifetime membership in 2006 for my mother who passed away. All of her friends and family throughout all bc of these years have wrote such beautiful letters to her, candles and posted pictures and it's just all gone. I am devastated and so are my siblings. This was suppose to be forever! If I knew it would all just be taken away I would have tried to copy over everything so we could still have it. I also would have went with a different site if I knew this would turn out to be a lie. For the past 2 years the site has been working terribly or just not working and now I can't even find the site at all.

I paid for a page for my family to continue paying tribute to my nephew. It was a one time fee that was to last eternity and it's gone. A lot of special memories and candles have been shared to this page, a sense of sharing a loss together and no one being alone. This page was very helpful for my sister during her grieving period and also helped family know when she needed extra love and support.
