I purchased my LG Plasma Television December 19, 2009 at the Audio and Video store in Santa Monica California and before my warranty expired on December 19, 2010 there was sound on my television but there was no picture. I called LG and I was transferred to customer service for troubleshooting and during troubleshooting with a customer service representative my television cracked internally.
I wrote a complaint letter and faxed it over to a supervisor in customer service and he said that it was not LG fault and the warranty will not cover internal cracked panel and that it was my fault this incident happened and they could not help me. I’m still in shock and I cant believe how LG so called life’s good product and customer service has handled my case. Does anyone have suggestions?

i purchased double door refrigerator on 17-12-2010. from the first day its making a lot of noise and back side wheel is also damage. The person who came for demonstration told us that he'l replace the wheel and send technician on next day but after i week also he did not contacted. so i complained on lg service my complain No. RNA [protected] with in 24 hours the service man will check the product their told us. But after 48 hours a service man came but he too did rectified the refrigerator and told he'l completely replace the product with in 2 days but now its 12 gone but no response when i called the lg service their inform with in 6 o clock person will surely check the product but no response form any side...

We purchased a new TV from Reliance Hyper Mart in GGN.
The TV arrived in a well worn box.
I reported this to LG and they sent over an engineer.
The engineer pushed to install the TV and sure enough the picture was bad. There were up-t0-down bands. He checked with multiple inputs, cables and reported that there is a problem.
Then on reporting the same to the customer care number I was given notice that reminders have been sent and that there will be more engineers visiting my home. Naturally I do not recommend LG in India. BAD PRODUCT and BAD SERVICE

Im having LG GT 350i mobile.i bot in univercell on 14.11.2010 bill no 950628.in that mobile i have a problem, some time if im going to inbox it will show maximum limit of application reached.if i will switch off and switch on the mobile for 2 days it wont show anythink it will work peroperly after 2 days it will show same think. i given to lg service center for 2 times again i have same problem.every time it will show maximum limit of application reached i want permanent solution for that.if im not geting permanent soluation i need my cash back are exchange of mobile.

3rd motor replacement
On Novmeber 5th I received an LG Dishwasher from the Brick.
On or about May of this year the motor started to make noise that you could not hear yourself talk. I phoned the Brick who sent over RVS from sherbrooke who sent a tec person over and told me that the motor needed to be replaced. He ordered a new motor to which it arrive aug 2 and installed it. The motor made some noise again and was told if it gets worst call us back. in september I could not take it anymore and phoned to have the motor replaced again. I have been waiting since september for a new motor to which I am told it takes time to get a motor. I have written LG a number of times to which they are of no help at all in helping me with my 3rd motor for my dishwasher.
After phoning RVS who tells me they are still waiting for an answer as to when the motor will be sent to them I now have given up on LG and there service.
This dishwasher has not worked half the time and all this happened within the first year of service.
I can just imagine what other people are going threw with there LG dishwasher.
I would say a good 5 months we are not able to use this machine between geting the so called motor replacements

We have a 4 year old LG Dishwasher and have had the motor replaced once and just today a LE error code came up the same as the previous motor issue. Tech is comming out tomorrow, I bet we will be stuck with another $225.00 motor replacement.

I had purchased a tata indicom walky prepaid connection with lg make lsp-410t, fm radio phone vide receipt no. sl. no.116 dt.30/07/06 from tata indicom true value shoppee, 373/3, t. i. cycle road, ambattur, chennai-600053 by paying rs.3, 400/-.
The phone was functioning to my satisfaction for one year only. now, I am facing frequent problems viz battery and automatic locking of the dialling buttons. I had been to the lg service centre four times and the problem continues.
The recent problem locking of buttons (second time) i. e. I can only receive the incoming calls and I can not make any outgoing calls, was reported to the lg service centre. the service centre technician has replied that the spares are not available as the instrument is outdated.
Since I have paid a sum of rs.3400/- for the set as well as life incoming calls, unless the instrument is repaired or replaced, I can not make any outgoing calls and have to keep the phone as a show piece only.
Under these circumstances either tata indicom being the service provider, from whose outlet I had purchased the lg set or the lg electronics being the manufacturer of the instrument has to provide a solution to this problem.

Always we need keep charger of battery hang up with phone. Antenna is not strong, and always having problem. Suggest do not but this phone. Thanks and regards.
worst purchase + worst customer service
It's a bottom freezer refrigerator model LBN20518ST. 1 year and 1 months after buying this fridge broke: temperature controls broke and the fridge wouldn't cool. That's when my disastrous customer service experience with LG started.
As directed by LG customer service, spent $300 CAD on service call and replacing main board. The new board was fried in 2 hours after replacement. The problem is known and well documented in the fridge owner reviews even on LG's own website (I wish they had it posted before I bought).
Customer service was deceptive and unprofessional: lied about unreceived faxes, calls they never made, actions they later refused to take. After 2 months of deception and promises they bounced me back to the seller who has nothing to do with the manufacturing/assembly problem. In meantime, I have family of 5 living with Whirpool 3.2 cu ft. that I bought as a temp solution while they kept promising.

It is korean firm initially launched as Goldstar and it really did not pick up. Later they launched themselves as LG with very attractive Logo. People go after the Logo only and the advertisements. Even my refrigerator is LG450 litres it also gets hot and doesnot cut-off. So I did some research work and found the problem. Switch off the referigerator and remove the power plug. Now remove the bottom cover giving access to the compressor and the hot coils(condenser), the condenser has to remain well ventilated all the time, good companies provide forced ventilation by means of a fan. The coils(condenser) to be regularly cleaned of any dust for good heat transfer. In this way my refrig. is running', touch wood, for past 7 years. Do not buy Whirlpool or LG. Go for Toshiba for that matter any japanese brands will suffice.

I purchased an LG washer from Leon's with an extended warranty. It broke last Thursday. I called them and was told we lived in a "remote" area of Canada. Sigh. Halifax is NOT REMOTE but I guess nothing exists east of Montreal!
The repair guy came from Maritime Appliance Repair today and agreed, yup, it's broken but no one locally carries parts so he has no idea when the part will be coming in, could be two days or four weeks. So I asked him where the nearest LG warehouse was - no idea. I asked him, well, it's two weeks before Christmas, when will my washer be fixed? No idea.
Maritime Appliance Repair has a monopoly here and fix ALL LG appliances. They consist of about 10 people. Period. Including technicians. They know there's nothing you can do about it and they act like it, too. He told me all LG appliances were like that - no parts locally and it takes forever to get any parts. He just wanted to leave and he'll fix it when the part comes in, whenever that is.
I will NEVER purchase an LG product again. Never. I am completely disgusted that Leon's doesn't care, either. So it's the wind up to Christmas and I have no washing machine. I also am recovering from surgery on my broken ankle so can't easily get to a laundromat so it's not good. I'm disgusted.

I bought a brand new 22LE5300.AUS TV from HHGREGG in July 2010. This was the third LG product I had bought. I loved my first LG TV and the washer is only a few months old and so far we like it. However, this 22LE5300.AUS TV has left me not ever buying another LG product.
After a month, the TV started to have problems. The following is the problems:
1- This happens purely randomly for the past three months. I will be watching TV then I hear a beep from the TV and the sound goes all the way down to 0. The remote will not work and the TV buttons will not work. I have to unplug the TV unit and replug it to make it work properly again.
2- Since I bought the TV I had been missing a few channels. I thought this was normal for this TV. All of my other TVs get the missing channels. I have physically moved this TV into multiple other rooms and rescanned the channels. The channels I am supposed to get do not show. I have another LG 22" LCD HD TV and it gets those missing channels as well as all my other TVs in the home.
3- For the past month I have been loosing HD channels (channels in the upper DTV range). All my other TVs get them. Also, some of the HD channels are pixilated (sort of scrambled like) but I was getting them perfectly a month ago. All my other TVs get the missing channels and are not pixilated, even my other LG 22" LCD HD TV gets perfect reception. The cable company has been out to my home and it is not any problem with the cable. My other TVs are not having these problems, only the 22LE5300.AUS.
I called the LG customer service center numerous times. They gave me a weird explanation about the problems. I took it that their people were knowledgeable and did what they told me. This dragged on for just under four months. I lost the opportunity to take it back to the store.
Finially a LG customer service personnel told me that the unit needed to go to a repair center to be fixed. I asked for a new unit and have this one shipped back so that I could have a TV for the holidays. The person said they would repair it and have it back as quick as possible. I also sent in an email and put a letter in the box to make sure the repair service knew exactly what the TV issues were.
I do not know why I could not have taken it to one of two local service centers in my area but I sent it in anyway. I sent the TV unit in for repairs.
I got my repaired TV back on December 1, 2010. That TV was in pristine condition when I sent it in except for those issues listed above. What I got back was the TV with the same problems and further it stated on the return paper inside the box that the TV had scratches on the cabinet. I called LG customer service 15 minutes after receiving the repaired unit. I got another weird response from the service agent so asked for a supervisor. He told me to send it back and it would be repaired, again. I asked for a new TV to be sent to me and that LG send me a return shipping label for this broken TV. He said no that it would be repaired.
I did not want to send it in the first time as I thought the shipping would be hard on the unit in the first place.
HHGREGG help me very little as it was past their 14 day return policy. However, they will not exchange it for the same TV. They want me to send it to them also to be fixed. I paid for a new TV I should get a new working TV and not a repaired (2nd time for the same issues), reconditioned, or refurbished one.
I had read online reviews and people have told me at the stores not to buy LG products. They said that customer service was atrocious and nonexistent. Everyone I asked about this 22LE5300.AUS TV told me to stay away from LG products and that I would regret buying anything from LG once I have to deal with LG’s customer service. I did not listen and bought another LG product as I had good experience with my other LG products.
LG Customer Service Promise:
"Providing the Best Service" - I do not think so. Some agents can barely speak English and I can't understand some of their agents.
"Showing Kindness & Respect" - Only to a point then they turn nasty.
"Fixing It Right the First Time" - Laughable and downright a lie.
Same boat here with other LG products. I won't ever use them again either. Hope their company goes belly-up because they have no customer service what-so-ever.

We've had this LG french door refrigerator for 3 years and now periodically the control panel on it is beeping and then going to all 8's and having to be reset. Cannot get any answers from their customer support or so called customer support. Wanted to know if this could be a problem if away on holidays when it happens and their person on the phone didn't know squat about their product. This is simply amazing. If you want to throw money away buy LG otherwise buy something good.

I have bought LG P500 ( Lg Optimus 1) on 29 Nov 10. I have Airtel prepaid connection, under number [protected]. I have called up both airtel and also visited mobile store from where I bought cell, but no joy so far.

Home Depot had an LG Refrigerator (LFX28978ST) on sale on Black Friday for $1898.00 dollars. This was $801.00 off the original price of $2699.00. The only problem was this, no stores in Northern Viriginia had any on Black Friday other than the display model. The sales people were great on showing you the model, and when you wanted to purchase it there was none available. They always offered a different LG model at a higher price also. I first tried to buy it on line on Black Friday, the Home Depot website stated I could not. I than started my hunt for the LG Refrigerator (LFX28978ST)four different locations in my area with no success. I continued through Monday, 11/29/10 when the sale would end with no success. I wrote a complaint to Home Depot Customer Service on 11/28/10 stating I was never going to do business with them again, I would buy my new refrigerator elsewhere. A sale person from the local Home Depot called me on 11/30/10 and stated they read my complaint and were wanted me to buy a different LG model they had in stock, but not the one my wife and I liked and looked at the stores. I told them this was a no go, why settle for less!

Echo the same availability issue here in Florida. The only difference is that the HD salesperson told us upfront that it was out of stock and would not be available for delivery until 2/01/2011. Since we still had an operating unit we opted to take advantage of the price and wait for delivery. It was delivered on the 1st and appears to have been worth the wait.
We had the same issue in NJ with the same model number. Spoke to the manager and informed him he had to take the sign down because it was false and misleading advertising and proceeded to answer us with an attitude. We gave up on Home Depot and made our purchase in Best Buy that same day and had it delivered within 10 days.

I suppose major appliances are bound to fail at one time or another. When they do, you would expect the manufacturer to repair them in a timely manner and stand behind their warranty and abide by applicable law. My horrible LG experience demonstrates that this is a company with a complete lack of concern for the customer, an extremely poor repair network and repair process, and willingness to avoid honoring their warranty obligations.
After the first use, the WM2501H steam washer was vibrating to the point where I could see the drum oscillating by 2-3 inches and I could hear components within the machine loudly banging against each other. After nine service calls of repair personnel sent by LG from three different locations, they still couldn't fix it and refused to replace it or refund my purchase price.
After the fourth unsuccessful service call an LG service supervisor offered to exchange the unit. Two weeks later, LG said there is no way they would exchange it. Rather they said even though the symptoms were observed by their repair people (and are on video) if the service technician cannot identify something to fix, then the problem is not with the machine, therefore the washer is not broken.
Conclusions reached by various LG repair personnel that looked at the washer and attempted to fix it indicated that (1) the stator needed to be replaced (the next repairman said it didn't), (2) the leveling screw was broken (the next repairman said it wasn't), (3) it was designed to oscillate that way so that the clothes wouldn't stick together and finally (4) that my house design was faulty. These excuses illustrate either a lack of capability of the LG repair personnel or a determination by the company to avoid replacing the unit or refunding the purchase price. In case you are wondering, the problem was not a function of leveling. The machine was "re-leveled" at almost every service call. When I reiterated the warranty obligations to LG supervisors at their headquarters, they arrogantly replied "Go ahead, elevate it."
I eventually got Home Depot (not LG) to refund the purchase price and I am grateful for that. I purchased a GE steam washer to replace the LG and it has not exhibited any of the vibration problems and appears to be a slightly better at cleaning clothes.
The bottom line is if you buy an LG appliance you better hope that it doesn't break. And they do break. The dryer failed within hours of returning the washer. LG sent a repair person who identified a malfunctioning component and supposedly ordered a replacement from LG. When I called after eight days the authorized repair facility said they still didn't have the component and didn't want to fix it.

i have purchased lg washing machine model no-F1056LDP5 AT VIVEK ltd, adyar on 31dec, amd the machine was deliver to me on 1st jan 2011. No engineers have come for installation. On physical check of machine i found that drum gasket was not setting properly. as per your warranty the gasket are not covered. The new machine the gasket is not properly fixed. and i found there was water in the gasket. i want you to replace the gasket with a new one or the machine. i request you to send your technician immediately to install the machine and attend the fault.

Panels do not magically "crack". You are responsible for the damages. If you failed to inspect the television before purchasing it, you are still to blame. If you roughhoused the television on the way back to your home, the blame still falls on you. Very few, if any, electronics retailers will warrant neglect and abuse. A costly lesson, but a lesson nevertheless.
