My LG refrigerator is 19 months old, and the compressor has gone out. The repairman is charging me 375.00 for labor. I am upset.
I bought the appliance on March 25 2016 at Lowe's.
It broke the Sunday after thanksgiving, and I've had to wait three day for a repairman. I lost over 150.00 worth of food and meats.
I cant afford this. I am retired and on a fixed income. Your appliance should have lasted much longer than it did.

    When you purchased the fridge, did you purchase any additional warranty coverage through the retailer? I like LG appliances, but as you've learned, even good appliances can break. There are those who prefer not taking the risk, so they add additional warranty coverage on their purchase. It might be worth checking with the retailer to see what they can do for you. They can really be a life saver.
