Pool Motor Replacement, Providing Incorrect Info Deliberately
Having shopped at Leslie Pools for 26 years to supply my pool, estimated total of $12, 000 over the years. I will never shop there again, due to the Staff's dishonest, sell at any cost, and extremely rude behavior. The staff in question, the women who is often there as the only staff, seems to be relatively new as I have not seen her before through the...

I recently was let go from the company after a years worth of work. In that time I can 100% say that it is a terrible company to work for. The upper management in the areas of District and regional management are severely lacking in accountability and fore sight. Store managers like myself are the work horses of the company and are over worked and under...
Read full review of Leslie's Pool Supplies and 8 commentsThey don't have a hardness test
The concept of walk-in pool water testing is great. Unfortunately, there is great inconsistancy from store to store. Store #1 told me my salt pool hardness was so high I needed to drain my pool and refill. Reluctant to accept this at face value, I went to store #2. They don't have a hardness test. Store #3 tested my water and told me it was well within range. Just to be sure I went the a fourth store and they also confirmed my pool water was well withing range.
Now we will drive the hour to a different pool supply store to avoid these hassles again
Bought a side skimmer for our pool. cashier took items out of box, a part was not put back in! We live 35min from store. Called...waited, spoke to three people...no one could find missing item...said we must have lost it ourselves! Finally when I asked to speak to a manager, never found him, they said they would open another one and give us the missing item! They were extremely busy at the time we shopped there and it was a very unpleasant experience. Especially when I called to ask about my part, they were a little snotty instead of apologetic about their screw up! Now we will drive the hour to a different pool supply store to avoid these hassles again!
Simple as it is do not go to Leslie's Pool Supply
Upon entering the store on Fort Apache in Las Vegas, we were treated like animal to get out when purchasing supplies. The person name is BILL the MANAGER at Leslie's Pool Supply . We called for complaint and the district manager RICK called us back and even criticize us about our actions and our complaints! They assume were asking for free merchandize when all we needed was an apology letter for being treated as animal. The manager even had the nerve to say it was TO BUSY! AS AN EXCUSE. With only 3 customers and 2 sales associate is busy then what if it's 2 customers? Even for something so simple as a letter of apology the district manager couldn't even give us the letter. It is such a simple task and they see it as a Difficult TASK. For FUTURE REFEERENCE for ANYONE who wants to shop at Leslie's Pool Supply do not shop there if you do not want to be treated like an ANIMAL. Simple as it is do not go to Leslie's Pool Supply. They're AWFUL!
I called for service on my pool filter. It took over a week for them to even get out, but they assured me it would be fixed the same day. the service tech came out, said what had to be replaced, and we were given options. I talked to the store, settled ona new type of filter, was quoted a price, and then i was told i would be called back in a few minutes with an installation time. $ hours went by, no call. I proceeded to call them back, they told me they would call back in 5 minutes. Again, no call.. So I called them the next day, they at first acted like I hadnt talked to anybody at the store before, then said they found my information, then proceeded to tell me I was quoted the wrong price the day before and the unit I needed was at a much higher price. Sounds like a real bait and switch to me... meanwhile my pool has sat there for nearly two weeks with no filter...
We recently purchased an entire pool pump/motor system (salt) that has cost several thousand dollars. It has not been installed. We are still waiting on parts & service.
We purchased the system through your Poway, CA store. The Manager and Staff at this store are superb. However, they can’t seem to get through to you that we need the system delivered and installed. The previous two pump systems we purchased from Leslies failed (one immediately and the second after only 2 plus years). We decided to move to a salt system.
We have emptied our pool twice while waiting for the system to be delivered and installed. We don’t want to have to empty our pool a third time. It is impossible to believe that in your vast store system that you don’t have one that can be shipped to the Poway store via overnight mail and installed right away.
The partial system that has been installed cannot be properly adjusted, must be manually started and stopped (meaning we can’t go anywhere over night), and the entire situation is absolutely intolerable.
Please get this solved right away. This situation has now been going on for “weeks, ” not days.
I request a copy of this letter (which I will also be sending via ground mail) go to your Board President (Mr. Hayward).
I walked in Lesliesabout 12:13 and left at 1:35. I have been a customer of the store on Coffee Road about 20 years. I just bought a new Hayward pool sweep last week and wanted them to tell me what I needed to add chemically to my pool and my son's pool which had been drained according to their instructions. The salesman R, Romero was new and was left by himself and acted like he didn't know what he was doing as he was checking my water. He kept leaving and helping other customers and I waited and waited for him to come back to me. Finally two other employees came out and went back in while I'm waiting and waiting. Finally one of the older employees came out and helped him calculate what I needed. $95.00 worth of chemical. I don't mind waiting but over a hour with a child in my arms is a big much. When I complained and asked him not to leave me again he kept leaving and helping other people. R. Romero was the salesman but he shouldn't be left alone yet. He told me I needed 59 pounds of Conditioner Plus for my son's pool and then changed to 25 pounds. Sandra Bottoms [protected] if you want to talk to me about it.
I love this complaint. That is the same way in the Framingham Massachusetts store. The Assistant Mgr. there (Chris) is excellent at wha the does and I feel does an exceptional job. I frequent the store and I always see the Asst. Mgr. Chris and another gentleman associate always working and are happy to assist me in an efficent and prompt manner. They are the reason why I come back to this store. However, the Manager of the store there, Rochelle, is horrible. I never see her willing assist me and infact I came in for a water test and I was standing there for at the most 25 mins. before I finally left and came back later while the Asst, Mgr. Chris was there. It seems as though Rochelle the Manager neglects her customers and is unwilling to help and assist customers. I always see her in the back service office area talking on the phone and laughing. Sounded to me like her conversation was more important than assisting myself and 3 others who were in line. I will never come to this store while the Manager is working. I tried to even call corporate and the District Manager Nick seems to side with the Manager Rochelle. She should be fired as I have several times heard her talk downb to her employees and treat them as if they were her slaves. Horrible store Manager Rochelle you should be ashamed of yourself and I hope this is seen by the right people and you are fired!
The store located at 6890 Highway 6 in Houston always has one person working
The store located at 6890 Highway 6 in Houston ALWAYS has one person working. Your competition on the other hand ALWAYS has 4 people ready to help. Again, today, I walked out with 2 other customers because we do NOT have all day to stand in a line to spend money. This has happened on numorous occasions. Pool Warehouse is going to put your company out of business if this level of service continues.
most lelie's have one person working at a time. sometimes two. it is how theykeep prices low. they are lower than most everybody.
This store is rude and will rip you off
Beware of Leslie Pool Supplies. The owner of the Hendersonville, Tn. store is rude and will rip you off. He will sell you products you do not need then will refuse to exchange or refund. If you do try to return he will belittle you and use foul language. You will know him when you see him because he is big and fat with brown hair. Again BEWARE of Leslie Pool/Spa Supplies in Hendersonville, TN. Use Fox Pool/Spa Store on main street.
this comment is from an employee of a competitor. foxxx pools does this kind of stuff on every website. they are sad criminals who will do anything to save themselves. they are rats on a sinking ship. I have used this store since the day it opened, and the "big, fat guy" is as nice as can be and will go the extra mile. he even came out to my house for free and fixed my equipment after hours. nobody else would do this.
I waited 3 months for Leslie's to fix my wall
Back in November, 2009, I purchased a new Hayward pool filter from Leslie's Pool Service in Surprise AZ and scheduled the installation for 11/14/09. The service technician came on the day they were scheduled and the installation took place while I was not at home. When I came home later that afternoon, there was a note attached to my door saying there had been a little accident and the note stated "I bumped your pool equipment wall". There was also a voice message on my home phone asking that I call the technician's supervisor to schedule the repair of the wall. When I went into the back yard, the whole west wall of my 3 sided cement block equipment wall was broken down and there was a large dent in my pool heater. I called the supervisor immediately and 2 weeks later got a call back. This continued for 3 months. I would call and wait, call and wait. On Saturday, February 20th, 2010, after weeks of calls, the wall finally was replaced. It isn't painted yet but at least the wall is up. I have to supply the paint! On top of that I had to sign a release before I would get my refund. The amount of the refund is for a contracted amount Leslie obtained and who knows what will happen if the contractor charges more than what the contracted fee was. I will never purchase another item from Leslie's Pool - not a chemical, not a part, nothing ever again. I tell everyone I know not to buy from Leslie's. A company that you would think is reputable and would be customer service oriented is the absolute worst in customer service and customer satisfaction.
New Pool Liner Leaking
I ordered a Pool liner last year after 30 days and no call from them I went to the store in Woodstock Ga. Where I purchased it to be told that when I ordered it the Manager was a fill-in while the normal Manager was out of town, and it was never ordered. The manager at the store this trip was the actual manager and he got it ordered. 1 month later they show up to do the install it is now 2 months $3800.00 later. Pool liner is leaking found out that the crew that had installed it had been let go and Leslies had already had to replace other liners that they had installed. They sent out a technician to dye test the pool, they sent out technicians to check pool levels then they wanted to send out a diver a month later after 25 to 30 calls from me I'm told that it's to cold for a diver so they would close the pool and call me in the spring. Never heard another thing I had to call them so they sent someone out to dye test the pool WTH. He gets here and took the cover off and guess what. When they closed the pool they didn't bother to clean the leaves out it took 3 weeks for the diver to show up now the "Manager Ed" after 5 calls to him and to the service dispatcher I get a return call from him stating that he wants to send out a leak detection company and that they would be calling me the next day 5 day's later I get a call from them to find out they can"t do anything unless the pool is full and clear it is almost a YEAR and I still have not been able to use the pool.I want my pool liner replaced enough is enough NEVER USE THIS RIPOFF COMPNY UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY. NEVER A RETURN PHONE CALL, ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY GOOD LUCK WITH GETTING SERVICE. If I don't get this matter settled I will be seeking out others for a possible class action suit.

They have lost a long time good customer
I bought a new paper filter which they had to order. I was supposed to be here in a week but it took over two weeks. At the same time I bought three circular sun rings for my pool. I opened one and found it to be difficult to blow up. I think it had been in a warehouse too long and the plastic had adhered itself together. I decided to return the other two. I waited until my paper filter arrived to return the two sun rings. To my surprise they would not take them back since it had been more than 14 days. It was alright for them to lie to me about the time to get the paper filter but not for me to return the sun rings which I do believe were defective. Don't buy anything from Leslie that you even think you might have to take back. They will not honor it. As a result they have lost a long time good customer. I have an inground gunite pool 20x40.
I waited half of the first day and most of the second waiting for a tech
I scheduled service with Leslie's pool to replace the pool pump 3 times in as many years. The tech arrived as agreed but immediately said that he needs parts and would try to return that day or would return first thing the next morning. I waited at my home until 2:30pm before calling the dispatcher who said there were scheduling problems and he it would be closer to the end of the day. The next appointment would be in 4 days.
So I waited half of the first day and most of the second waiting for a tech that never came. When I asked if another appointment could be bumped tomorrow to fit in my bumped appointment, the dispatcher said no.
This is of course one example of several where Leslies has given me bad advice on pool care, sold me products I didn't need, and didn't fulfil their commitments. I am not sure how they became as large as they did with the poor customer service they provide.

Terrible company
First of all, I would normally never take the time to write a complaint on the internet, but these guys deserve it, and they've pushed me to the brink. For 3 months, I have waited on them to fix a minor problem with the heater on my pool - specifically, replacing the igniter that fires up the heater when it's turned on. 5, count'em - FIVE APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED over the course of 3 months AFTER I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THE PARTS - TWICE! They originally replaced the part, then sold me up the river on another $300 "panel" which turned out to not only NOT be the problem, but quickly shorted out the rest of the circuitry on the heater. Knowing they had made a bad situation worse, they then proceeded to schedule, and cancel 5 more appointments, always with some lame excuse (wrong part came in, defective part came in, etc.) Each time, I confirmed the appointment as directed, only to have them call back (usually the day of) to cancel again. Today, I took the entire day off of work for what I hoped would be my last experience with them - and hoped to have the heater fixed. After waiting from 8am - 12 noon (as scheduled), I called and was told "they're on the way". Called back an hour and a half later, and was told "OOPS - there was a "scheduling problem"!? WHATTT? Then - I'm tranferred to "Dispatcher Dan", who of course, could see all the nightmarish information on my service history, but was unable to help me at all. In fact, he told me the service tech had already been to my house and had discovered another problem - TOTAL LIE. So Dan transfers me to the Service Director, who, like a coward, let's me go to voice mail, and I'm done. I wouldn't even call back - but again, I've already paid them, and have nothing but lies, crappy service, and a broken heater to show for it. RUN AWAY FROM THESE ###S!

I went to Leslie's Pool supplies on Swan in Tucson today to get a new bulb for my pool light. The guy who was there approached me and asked me what I needed, and he then said something like, let's see what we've got, and I followed him into an area that was behind the counter. A young lady who was named Rae, said rudely and loudly to me, "Sir, Please step out here" or something to that effect. I said, "You mean I'm in prohibited territory?" And she said nothing but repeated, "Step around here, " or words to that effect. Well, the place is so cluttered, you can't tell when you're behind the counter and when you're not, and I followed the male employee at his invitation.
This stupid girl has no people skills, and she has no business working in a place that depends on people skills for sales. She was no help whatsoever in getting me the parts I needed, and in fact, she carried on a flirting conversation with the male all the time he was trying to figure out how to help me (and he had no clue either) when she wasn't fiddling with her cellphone.
I will never enter Leslie's again. I will never buy another cent's worth from them.
I don't care whether or not they fire the woman, because it doesn't matter to me, but she cost them a customer.
Bad dream
In June 2008 I went and bought a new Hayward Pump and Filter- Leslie sold me on the DC E40 Pump and said low maintanance easy to use- yeah right- 2 weeks after installing and having a swim party the pump became all clogged up- i called leslies and they told me because we had to many people in the pool? We had to take the filter apart and clean the fingers off we did that and the next day it was clogged again- with no one in the pool- this time they told me to soak it in ACID- like i want to expose my family to that! Plus remember this is a new system less than a month old- Leslies is suppose to service Hayward- no one communicates- we then had to order a new part to the filter and it came from Hayward and it didn't fit even with giving them the number to the pool- took to leslies and told would have to come back because they might get busy and there was no one in the store or parking lot- they told me to call hayward- there is no service at ALL!

So your pump was clogged? Or your "filter fingers"? I've been a pool tech for many years, and have dealt with unreasonable customers that get mad when their equip becomes dirty/clogged due to lack of maintenance. You sound like one of these customers wanting something for nothing.
Stay away from this crooks
This is what they care about at Leslies. I was at the Leslies in Hollywood, FL and was at the counter when I witnessed the gentleman at the counter showing another employee how much he had sold. He told me I needed Alkalinity and proceeded to bring me two buckets of Alkalinity. Since I questioned their tactics at this point, I got a second opinion at another store where they told me my alkalinity was just a little low. This is the same guy that sold me a jug of Phos free and while they have a $29 bottle, he took it upon himself to sell me the $59 one. I was not aware of that and I found out later that chemicals are not returnable. Styay away from these crooks.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have to agree. Since Self Chem here changed to Leslies my chlorine bill has doubled (now $ 800/year) and the level is still not maintainable. I've checked the pool every way possible including changing the sand in the filter. Since it has become Leslie's they seem far more interested in total sales dollars than the customer. As a matter of fact, I don't think they care about customer problems as long as their revenue increases. I'm looking for another source.
Lack of warranty service
I PURCHASED A DOLPHIN DELUX 4 POOL CLEANER SYSTEM MANUFACTURED BY MAYTRONICS ON JUNE 4TH, 2009 FROM THEIR DEALER, LESLIE'S SWIMMING POOL SUPPLIES 159 N Burkhardt Rd. Evansville, IN [protected]-1077. THE UNIT WORKED AS ADVERIIZED THROUGH JUNE AND JULY. I FOLLOWED THE VERY LIMITED MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE MANUAL, AND THE WEBSITE AFTER EACH USE. THE UNIT STOPPED WORKING AROUND AUGUST 1ST; I FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS IN CLEARING ANY OBSTRUCTIONS FROM THE DRIVE UNIT AND IMPELLER. I BROKE THE FUSE HOLDER TRYING TO REMOVE THE FUSE, AND REPLACED IT WITH ONE FROM RADIO SHAK. THE UNIT APPEARED TO HAVE POWER, (THE POWER LIGHT ON THE POWER SUPPLY ILLUMINATED, AND THE CABLE SHOWED 30 VDC AT THE PLUG IN CONNECTOR ON THE POWER SUPPLY. THE UNIT STILL WOULD NOT OPERATE. I CHECKED THE WEBSITE, AND CALLED MAYTRONICS, WAS ADVISED TO RUN THE FILTER BAG THROUGH A WASHING MACHINE CYCLE WITH OXYCLEAN, I DID AND THE UNIT IS STILL INOPERABLE, I CALLED MAYTRONICS BACK AND WAS TOLD TO RETURN THE UNIT TO LESLIE'S WHERE I PURCHASED IT. I WAS TOLD "WE DON'T REPAIR THOSE; YOU NEED TO SEND IT BACK TO MAYTRONOICS. I CALLED MAYTRONICS AND WAS ABLE TO GET THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON ON THE PHONE WITH THE LESLIE STORE EMPLOYEE. THE TWO OF THEM ARGUED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THEN ASK ME TO ALLOW THEM TO CALL ME BACK. IVE HEARD NOTHING YET. I SPENT NEARLY $1100.00 FOR THIS UNIT, AND SIMPLY WANT IT TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED.

Bad Service/Attitude
Purchased 3 jugs of chlorine and needed them re-filled. Guy at store won't take 2 of them because they don't have a Leslie's sticker on them (these are jugs I bought from them 2-3 weeks ago!). Says they don't swap out jugs from other stores and I'll have to buy theirs.
I'm done with them this is third and final time I've been treated like they have no use for my business. Since that is how they feel they can do without my consumer dollars. I will frequent a mom & pop store that just opened up nearby or Pinch-A-Penny.

Very poor customer service
The last straw.

Bad attitude
i was going to refill my chlorine there and i waited for 20 mins coz there's only one person working. It's fine because i went there every 2 weeks and i have to wait every time.
After the sale person took my jugs and went to the the back and refill it for me, i just walked around and see if there's some items i need.after a while he came out and told me that there was a leak on my jug and he can't refill it for me.However, i said the leak was happened last time i got the refill and i pour the chlorine immediately right after i bought. Then he just shake his head and told me that i can't do anything but take the jug back .what a rude attitude, and he said he got no peoples came in until six o'clock, and the chlorine jugs he stock on the hallway was all gone in 30 mins.May be that's the reason why he was so rude. Anyway i won't gonna go back and the punch a penny is just two blocks away.
Actually, a jug is not gonna cost so much and even it's leak, it's a normal consume. The customers paid for the chlorine and the first time charge of the jug, then why do the customers have to pay for a broken jug that they got from leslie's pool supplies? That's not reasonable and make customer disappoint.

Would not honor warranty
I bought a pump motor last June 2008, and it started making a squealing noise at the end of January 2009. It has at least a one year warranty. After removing it, I returned it to the store. The manager was out sick and 3 days later I still had not heard what the deal was. The 4th day, she informs me that indeed the motor has a problem, but it was caused by my pool water. ? I had to get a quick education, so I come to find out that water only gets in there if the seal is bad...mine was not. Also there is not one bit of water damage, ie, calcium deposits or rust to be found. She claims that a discoloration under a rubber washer is rust, bet after showing it to 3 seperate pool equipment experts they tell me it is lubricant seeping up through the motor, discoloring the metal and is absolutely not rust. They also told me that the brand Leslies sells, Emerson, is notorious for burning out bearings, and this is what happened, not water damage. So, Leslies employee is lying, and even the DM backs her up, and he has never seen the motor. I emailed pictures to the Corporate office, and have no response. I have since become an "expert" myself, having reinstalled a new motor from a reputable company. I have also come to learn that they have a pretty ugly reputation all around the country, so I am far from the first they have screwed. I am pursuing this further, because I am right and hate being lied to. Others should beware of shopping there. I never will again.
I have photos, but too large to attatch, so your site says.

I had absolutely the worst customer service experience in my life with Leslie's, and I will never, ever, ever deal or buy anything from them in my life. Here is my story...
6 months ago there was a thunderstorm where I live and the following day my pool pump won't start. The pool pump came with the house I bought and was about 7 years old. I go to Leslie's and I ask them if they can send a technician to look at it and see why the pump won't turn on. They say fine we'll send one over to look at it for a service charge.
A few days later the technician comes and it turns out that all I needed was to reset the fuse box and the pump started again. At that point I was happy that the pump started again and that's all I wanted. However the technicain really wanted to sell me a new pump so he told me that my pump noise was too loud and that the pump will die on my any day (?) so I'm better off getting a new pump. Being so naive I agree to it and he sells me a new pump and installs it for $600+.
Fast forward 6 months later and the newly installed pump won't turn on again. This time I try resetting the fuse box but it doesn't help. I call Leslie and guess what they tell me ? That they didn't install the pump themselves and they don't know who installed it (could be a contractor they sent) and I will have to contact that contractor directly or Hayward for warranty information. WTF ? the receipt the technician gave me was from Leslie's and the credit card charge on my card was from Leslie's so how can they claim it wasn't done by them ? They say they will only send a technician to look at it if I pay them $100+ in service fees and if I do need a new pump then their warranty won't cover it because it wasn't installed by them.
Suffice to say I told them to screw themselves, I am now trying to hunt down the person who installed the pump for me and to contact Hayward for their warranty information. If none works I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
Leslie's pool supplies is the worst store in the world, please don't ever spend a dollar there.
to leslies sucks,
try hanging on to your receipt ###, or even go through polaris because they would have a record of your purchase date...must suck to be that ###ed.
I paid almost $600.00 for a Polaris pool vacuum, had to take it back several times for repair. Told the person that it must be defective and requested a replacement. They told me the purchase wasnt in their computer so the couldnt honor the warranty even though they knew I bought it there.
They suck when it comes to customer service.
In April, 2009, I purchased a Hayward Pool Vac Ultra from Leslie's Pool Supply in Fresno, California and was given a rebate certificate form for $50.00 rebate. I submitted it four days later only to be told by Hayward Pool Products that they would not honor the form as it had a December 2008 expiration date. Leslie Pool Supply employees said that form was the only one they had as the new forms were not in their possession yet and that Hayward Pool Products would honor the form.
When Hayward notified me that they would not honor the rebate because of the expired form (green in color) they did enclose a new form (yellow) which was identical to the previous form except for the expiration date and color of the form. I wrote them the following letter and will follow it up if I don't receive my rebate in a timely manner.
This is to warn all that Hayward or Leslie's or others that use rebates as a marketing tool will try anything, in my opinion, to get out of having to actually pay the rebate while getting the benefit of advertising that they will rebate to customers who purchase their products. Honesty apparently has no place in some of today's business community.

Leslie’s Pool Supply
6689 N. Blackstone Avenue
Fresno, California 93710
Greetings:
On April 11, 2009, I purchased a Pool Vac Ultra vacuum system from Leslie’s Pool Supply, 6689 N. Blackstone, Fresno, California 93710, [protected]. The system came with a $50.00 rebate from Hayward Pool Products. I was given the paperwork to process the rebate from an employee at Leslies’ (exhibit a).
On April 14, 2009 I processed the rebate paperwork and noticed that the expiration date on the rebate certificate (green form) expired on December 31, 2008. I called Leslie’s and spoke with Ross at approximately 11:25am and he informed me that they (Leslie’s) had not gotten the new rebate forms in from Hayward and it would be fine to use the old form. I sent the paperwork in completed although I had concern that the green form was expired and feared a future problem. I took the precaution of copying all documents and noting the Leslie’s Pool Supply employee who had given me this information.
On May 11, 2009 I received notice from Hayward Pool Products that my rebate would not be sent as I HAD NOT FULLY COMPLIED WITH THE TERMS OF THE REBATE by sending in the green form. Attached to the letter (exhibit b) was a new rebate form colored Yellow which had an expiration date of December 31, 2009. Ironically, I could have filed for the rebate via the internet and would not have to had used the form. This form, with the two noted exceptions, is identical to exhibit b. I was further informed by the letter that the rebate would take an additional 4 to 6 weeks to process, inferring that the delay was MY FAULT!
I have completely complied with Hayward Pool Supply’s requirement for rebate and DEMAND that the rebate be immediately issued. This incident is entirely the fault and responsibility of either Hayward Pool Supply and/or Leslie’s Pool Supply and should be rectified NOW. You have this opportunity to make this right!
This product is the third one I have purchased from Hayward through Leslie’s and while I am satisfied with the product, I am not satisfied with this incident. I will wait until June 1, 2009 to have this incident rectified by Hayward or Leslie’s before taking this to the next level. Please don’t make that necessary.
Sincerely,
Michael V. Cunningham

Horrible place to buy a pool
My pool pump gave out. I called Leslie Pools in Vienna Virginia and got a price on the pump, and asked about installation. They said installation was free. I then went down there, and they said show up on Saturday for the a big sale. They reaffirmed the free install, and today (Saturday) I went to buy it. After I paid for it, I said when do I get my installation, and they said to call a number. I said it's free anyway. Both employees told me it was free. Both stood there and said, "We didn't say that." They lied to my face telling me that it was free, and then lied again telling me that they didn't say that. What a horrible place. I'll never buy a thing from them again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Leslie pools is not only a horrible place to purchase pool supplies (especially in Walnut Creek California) they are also horrible company toward the treatment of their employees.
(Maybe that is why service is so bad) we had a one guy who was the Manager who was great, always helpful, then one day he was fired (according to the "new rude guy') the turn over on employees is shameful.
The regional mannager Peter is a joke, he accuses and throws alligations around when we the customers are in the store. No professionalism.
We are now going toKeys pool supplies much better service
I called Leslie Pools today as I do every year to get my pool ready for Memorial Day weekend...The moment they heard I had a saltwater treatment unit I was put on hold and my purchase was not as important as any other customer...How does someone re-invest in their communities with this kind of service? I love my laptop it doesn't hang up, put me on hold and seem uninterested in my purchase...leslie's you missed out on a big! big! purchase we're talking, pump, liner, maintenance equipment, vacuum and much much more...thank you for telling me how much I'm appreciated...
