If I could do this all again, I WOULD NOT USE SUNRISE POOLS AND SPAS. The customer service is SUBSTANDARD and they make excuses regarding scheduling. I'm writing this review to provide potential customers with my experience with Sunrise Premiere Pool Builders, Sunrise Pools and Spas. On May 6, Sunrise Pools started the process of building my pool. Everything appeared to be on track for a July 4th completion until, things went into a complete STOP. From May 27 to June 11, no work was done; and the weather was not a factor (beautiful). The next visit to my home was June 12; during this visit the tiling and corking was completed. During this process they removed one of the corners from the outer area of the pool, which I informed them of via telephone and email, with pictures. The corners are all squared off, except a particular corner, which was rounded. Additionally, one of the corners was cut noticeably shorter than the other; to date this issue has not been resolved. Sunrise returned on July 6 to start the concrete and grading around the pool, which has not been completed as of July 14. They removed all the dirt from my property without leaving any to level off my property. Additionally, my lawn from where Sunrise drove and hauled dirt is destroyed and they just informed me today (7/14), that they are not responsible for laying sod or grass seed; I must pay out of pocket for having my yard destroyed. I was not notified of this issue. Furthermore, I had to remove my steps and was not notified by Sunrise. To date my pool has not completed; and Sunrise is unable to provide me with a date of completion. Furthermore I was informed by Sunrise, on the date of excavation, the pool would completed within eight weeks; and if the weather permitted it would be completed sooner. I have not been able to have my fence installed due to the delay in Sunrise leveling the yard. They have received all payments upon request, as agreed in the initial contract and consultation. I am completely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and inefficient responses to customer concerns and complaints.

Not happy at all. The work they did was below par and their customer service is nonexistent. After your last payment, be prepared to either fix the "warrantee" issues yourself and pay out of your own pocket or take legal action (like I am doing). I wouldn't suggest them to anyone. If I had to do it over again, I would choose to pay more and go somewhere else because it would actually end up being cheaper.

We highly recomend Sunrise Pools to anyone looking for an inground concrete pool. We are extremly happy with the outcome of our dream pool! What set them apart from the other companies we looked at was the knowledge of our pool designer. This is our first pool and we had so many questions. Not only did they answer our questions, they gave us the reasons for the answers. We will continue to enjoy and entertain at our pool!

I had a bad experience with Sunrise Premiere Pool Builders, LLC. Mike O visited my house on 12/13 and showed me some designs. He gave me a price that we were happy with. I told him that we had already sorted out financing and would get back to him at the end of the week to discuss other options and additional features we were considering. Later that night, he emailed me a layout of my backyard with the pool dimensions. It was really good work. By the end of the week, I emailed him with the add-ons we wanted and said we were ready to move forward. On Monday, I called to follow up and left a message. It's now 01/26 and I still haven't heard anything. I'm glad I didn't give them any money because they would never respond. I'm confused because they were boasting about their ComplaintsBoard.com rating. I should have checked the ComplaintsBoard.com first, and maybe I wouldn't have even made an appointment.
