Green Dot unauthorized payment

I tried to sell a couple things at an online auction site, dropping them off at Lee Real Estate and Auction. When they did not sell for the prices that we had expected we actually ended up buying them back ourselves. Upon the return of our items we realized that our large red wing crock had been damaged. It actually has three new cracks that were not there before I drop them off at the auction house. So the first thing I did was contact GreenDot and ask that the payment I made to the auction house be suspended. I was initially told that that would not be a problem; that the transactions would not be allowed to go through. I wish I would have got the name of the customer service agent that help me that day. Unfortunately the transaction did go through the auctioneers received their payment, and I'm left with a broken antique. The next customer service agent that I spoke with said that I needed to file a transaction dispute with a form that could be found on the website. After spending an hour at least searching the website for the form to download, I gave up, disgusted. I then called customer service once again and was told by the 3rd customer service agent for greendot that the printable version wasn't even available on the website. This did not set well after being told one lie and then another lie on top of it? I was told by yet another 'helpful' Green Dot customer service agent to put it in writing and send it in to the address provided. I then went back to the website to view my transaction history and found out that not only had reimbursed my account $79.20, that it actually took the reimbursement back out of my account on the very same day! So once again calling customer service I was told to submit my transaction dispute claim as soon as possible, which is what I'm about to do. Yesterday I went to check my account by calling a 1-800 number for GreenDot and after several attempts I was still receiving the message that my card number was invalid. This is the worst card I have ever been unfortunate enough to purchase. It would seem to me that the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing at Green Dot customer service. They obviously are not well versed on the crucial elements needed to provide accurate information to their customers. Nor are they even genuinely concerned whether or not I get my money back. Someone should inform them that without customers like myself there would be no need for a customer service department.

Green Dot greendot card to card transfer

Everytime someone sned me money through email or phone number im not able to accept it. It say cant except at this time or you have exceed to many times. I use greendot all the time and im having all kinds of issues.. I need to know do i need to not use my phone or do i need to use computer or laptop im losing money for my work. Ive called customer service like 3 or 4 times about the same issue and im not getting any help at all

Green Dot my card was blocked when it was sent to me with my ssi money on it

I had miss placed my old card that I just has social security directly deposited to. I called green dot and you sent me a new one with the money on it, but it was blocked due to irregular activity on Tue card!? There hasn't been any activity on it except the deposit, because it is blocked. I've submitted pictures of my ID NUMEROUS time and also email it to corporate. I need my money, there's absolutely no reason for it to take so long to unblock the card.

I have a account qith green dot about 4 months the first 2 months were ok and I had my SS che k directly deposited into my account without a problem. My back pay from SS came and also was direct deposit in the amount of $43,000. I was in the hospital when it was deposited. I looked at my online account and I couldn't access anything as my account was now locked I have contacted green dot several times, uploaded my ID ma y many times and when I call it'd under review it's been 2 months now and I'm just really passed off how they can do this and get away with it! It's not right! That can not lock my SS money by law. Ao it looks like I'm going to find a lawyer and sue green dot idk what else to do there absolutely no help!

You were able to get your card unblock asap? Cause they have $500 I need for my road trip home blocked for absolutely NO reason and I'm furious! I sent them every verification document I have to try and speed it up. I will NEVER use this company again.

Same thing happened to me on July 23, 2021 when I cashed my stimulus check and deposited onto my account it was locked. I end up getting an attorney involved, the Federal Reserve, Better Business Bureau, FTC, and Attorney General Consumer Protection Division and referred to another department. If you do not receive your money start with the Federal Reserve who regulates the banking system first. I'm suing them civilly because it financially set me back and caused a domino of effect things to happened to me behind what occurred. I have sent my supporting documents to them multiple times yet never really got an answer as to why the investigation was completed on a weekend, then in an hour on the weekend them the next day still investigating. All of the games will stop with the civil suit. I'm not going back and forth with them clowns about my money and have tried to be as transparent as I can in the matter. Good luck!

Green Dot my green dot debit card

On October 5th I called into inquire about $100 that was taking off from my card on October 4th that question they said they put a block on it that card number is [protected] I was told the card would be canceled and they will send me another one I received another one in the mail +[protected] when I tried to activate this card they said it was blocked then the recording says I have two cards on file the first one in question was the first one I mentioned which has a block on it and I assume no decision has been made as to where my hundred dollars went the second one is blocked because they said they need verification of ID I sent them verification of my ID several times as they requested and document upload I still have not been able to get my money's and most of all which is even worst you can't get through on these two numbers they tell you to keep dialing to speak with customer service you get lucky if you keep dialing to get to a prompt that tells you if you want to speak to customer service to press six this has been ongoing since October 5th it's interrupted interrupted me paying my bills I had to get donations to pay my rent and my bills are still overdue and you're holding my money this is driving me crazy especially since I can't talk to nobody about this I certainly recommend that anyone interested in applying for a debit card a prepaid debit card please if you want to hold on to your income don't mess with GreenDot I'm still waiting on my money now this is ridiculous it's been almost a month😥😣😤😢😭😡

Green Dot having to wait on the 5% ironed on every purchase when I really need the money

I don't think it's fair that you have to wait on the 5% earnings when it's your money when you guys said it up to get back 5% on every purchase and we put our monies and on the card to spend it and if I need the money now I can't get it I got to wait 12 months that don't make any sense I understand waiting 12 months and builds up to a big lump sum but if you're in a jam and you need it and you should be able to get it

Green Dot Money taken of my card... An unauthorized transaction that I didnt make or authorized

On August 29th 2018, A transaction was made on my card that I didn't make nor Authorized by me in the amount of $357.80 card# [protected]..exp12/21...At A BJs Wholesale in Deer park ny..I've never shopped in this store I dont even know where the location of this store is...I've made several dispute attempts to green dot explaining that this was not me..I've sent documents to there PO Box copies of my ID...and my work schedule and etc...I was informed that they was gonna do an investigation, however I've them and they said the investigation was close, with no explanation or any documentation stating why they will not be returning my funds to my account..I find this un fear I trust green dot I put money on my card weekly. I've even reached out to BJs where this transaction supposed have took place and they said I had to take it up with my bank..I work hard iam not a wealthy person I personally live pay check to pay check I can't not just take $357.80 as a lost this has been an inconvenience for me..I've been trying to get my money back for almost 2 months already..All iam asking is that I be refunded my funds...please help me get my money back...it just isn't fear...Thank you ..Meika Bonets

On 11/21/20, after reviewing my account balance I realize that unauthorized transactions had be made on my account between 11/13 and 11/20. I sent an email and called the phone number provided the same day and the next day, altho I never got to talk with the dispute department after 45 minutes on Hold. I emailed them a copy of the statement highlighting all transactions that were not mine. The dollar amount wasn't a lot, but the activity was frequent. I got the standard email reply saying they would conduct an investigation and they would send me a new card. I reply indicating I didn't want a new card I wanted the account closed and my money returned. They have sent me two different denials, one indicating there were no "errors" made, and the second referred to a .99 cent charge and they denied it again. I am a 70 year old senior and my blood pressure is thru the roof over the incompetence of Walmart and Green Dot Bank to resolve these kinds of issues timely and accurately. There is no easy way to email a specific representative or even talk to one. No documentation was provided to back up their claim of an investigation. I can't bring myself to deal with them anymore, it is making me sick. i will send a copy of this comment to the complaint board. These multi million dollar companies cannot be trusted with your money.

Green dot has allowed an unauthorized transaction to take place and will not stop the transaction after it has been detected. Green dot will not stand behind their advertisement of protection and monitoring their customers money. One star for them and no recommendations.

Hello. I am Jackie Allen Cunningham and I purchased an Green Dot card thinking this company was trust worthy and backed up their customers. Ebay was the site I purchased from and my transactions was placed with the pre-paid debit card and the three that was authorized by me had the correct address but three was not pay pay caught the error in the addresses and would not accept the funds. I called pay pal and they explained that they did not have any type of affiliation with the transaction and i needed to contact my card holder. I am being told buy customer service agent Oneal id-75301 that i have to just wait and see who receives the funds and i cannot dispute. I know that is not accurate. Now green-dot is not escalating the matter as if my complaint is not worth escalating. I will not be able to proceed with my urgent matter due to the fact of Green Dot unprofessionalism. I am being put on hold by an agent and told he is contacting an supervisor. I been waiting now for may 25 minutes. I have been told that my money is in an unknown place and also said that its nothing can be done. Green Dot the lack of customer services to assist buyers of green dot moneypak

Let me begin without getting upset. My name is Juan Vergara. I want to open an E-bay store. I was " instructed" by PayPal You-tube videos that I would need to purchase a (MoneyPak) at certain stores. I whisked on over to the nearest Walgreens and purchased a Green Dot MoneyPak in the amount of $95.00 plus the Service fee of $5.95 extra. I went to the cashier paid by cash at the counter and the MoneyPak was "scanned?" I was given a store receipt. I tried, and tried, and tried fruitlessly to contact both The Green dot / MoneyPak representative via the number given : [protected]. To transfer the cash into my PayPal account or transfer my cash into my checking account? Remember, I told you that I've watched You-tube PayPal videos and the other ebay Sellers gave instructions step by step to buy a MoneyPak and add cash into it at certain stores. The phone contact [protected] is automated without putting me thru an Operater (agent) which I need. It keeps saying "put your 16 digit " or your Social Security? Over the phone. No way, Jose! I have no 16 digit number on the green MoneyPak? Just to scratch off the back part which has 14 digits. My phone : [protected] or my e-mail me at [protected]@Yahoo.com to contact me. I want this resolved. I purchased the green dot MoneyPak at Walgreens on October 9, 2018 at 7:05 P.M. The Walgreens phone [protected]. I want someone to personally contact me because...I still have a $95.00 in a MoneyPak that I paid for in $5.95 service fee... And I got no service? To charge me a service fee! I need you to transfer my cash into either my PayPal account or my Checking Account. Juan.

Green Dot my green dot debit cards have been blocked for 6 months.

Green dot claims that fradulant activity took place on my debit cards regarding a single money Pak deposit. They have since blocked two of my accounts which is nearly six hundred dollars. They have failed to give me a case number or return my funds. This is causi g my family and I a hardship because pills are expensive
. Please help resolve this issue please.

Green Dot unlock greendot account to receive new card

I lost my greendot card and my account had been locked. I dont have the full card number but the last four digits of the card was 1387. I also was given this case number to reference [protected] and I'm also sending proof of my identity with a picture of my ID card . I've asked for a replacement card and never received it . I have also talked to a representative and she told me this was my best option was to send in a complaint and attach proof of my identity and that I would be sent a new card . Green Dot walmart money card! total nightmare

This has been a complete nightmare. I had a transaction deducted from my account on 9/20/18. I filed a disputed as instructed and the represented told me it would take 10 business day to resolve the dispute. I called on the 11th business day and received another date of 45 days to resolve the issue. At that point I closed the account today I found out the company sent the money back I went to log into the prepaid account and there it was just sitting there since the 8th October. I call the customer service line and they stated the only way to receive my money is for them to send it by mail in a check form which will take another 10 days. At that point will be well over a month from the time I filed the dispute. Please please do yourself a favor a run AWAY from this company. They are not here to help or protect the costumer as a regular bank typically has dispute resolved in half the time frame then what walmartmoneycard lies to you about. There are many banks you can go through if you need a debit cardswith no credit, first time banking or bad credit . Wells Fargo Opportunity Checking is one of them. At this point I'm going the legal route in order for me to receive my money because I don't believe a word they say and all of there representatives are from overseas and it is hard to understand them and they really don't care about your issues. COMPLETE TOTAL NIGHTMARE!

Green Dot [protected]- case number.

Unlock my card I have bills to pay it's my money and I want it now [protected] I received a payment from Aflac and I had this old card on file now I am waiting because I lost that old card and reported it stolen I even sent money to my phone number before I reported it stolen and I can't touch that money I have bills to pay and I'm going to Bay News 9 to report this if I wait one more week please send my money.

Green Dot blocked card

This is ridiculous my wife and I have been waiting for her check be funded to my account for 2 months now!.! Never were we told we were going to be expected to show I'd.. that is why we have green dot bank accounts bc we don't have a copy of our state issued driver's license so finally now 2 months later her job got the direct deposit right and now my account is locked.. how are we supposed to pay our Bill's if you locked my account.? I demand for this issue to be resolved immediately I've never had a problem with my account until now

I called green dot to get a new card since I thought that I had misplaced the old one, No problem until I received the new card tried to make a purchase BLOCKED! ! Told to upload a copy of my Driver License or ID for verification. .well after trying over thirty times, yes, I counted NOT LEGIBLE! !kept coming up. I had my daughter in law whom works in IT try same message. Not Legible. I want my card UNBLOCKED immediately! ! I am stressed to the Max. Green Dot I had purchased a green dot moneypak and it never loaded on my main card it was for $500 dollars.

Purches date: september 27, 2018 time: 2:29 location : lafayette, la. 70501 store location: dollar general. Person who bought the card: ricky joseph olivier jr. Card type: money pak. #xxx-xxx-[protected] is the last 8 is card number that costermer got for $500 dollars. Now there was a refund did also, but it also has been a week that a refund has never showed up. So roughly its been about two weeks and no card, no money, so now my bills that I had got the card for i' ve lost my lights, my water got paid late my car note is still not paid. I need my card unblocked, because that's what I use to pay my bills. Its been a week since I've been trying to unblock my card. I've sent 2 different pictures of my id but both was denied for some reason. If you can help me that will be very helpful and less stressful. For some reason just crazy as hell you blocked my card because of unusual activity you ask yourself did the person move so there was no unusual activity . I think out of all debet card companies you by far the worst . So what that being said you all need to figure out how get your customers to like this company. Once before my money was took from me by GreenDot.just like so many others . Try reading your reviews to help them being dropped

Green Dot blocked account

I contacted Green Dot about a unauthorized charge. They closed my card and sent a new one. After receiving the new card I had to take a picture of my ID and send it to them. Which I did 3 times! They never seem to locate it. They keep telling me to take a picture of my ID and send it to GreenDot.comdocupload over and over again. However they never locate it! My Information is just floating around. The worst customer service. Once I get my account unblocked I am closing the account. Never bank with them. Just clueless people.

Green Dot walmart moneycard

I called about a lost card about 2 weeks ago. Called back today to find they never shipped my card. Said it was some suspicious activity on it and I needed to send a ID to verify. Green Dot greendot card

I purchased a greendot card on 9/17/18 i added $25 that day and also another $25 the next day. Greendot locked my card and is only refunding me $12. I have tried to get ahold of a real live person for the past almost 3 weeks and i get cut off every time. I am very unsatisfied and will not recommend this to anybody. Greendot is a fraud and im pretty mad about losing $50 when ive got bills to pay and important things to take care of. Not happy with this greendot crap at all and thats exactly what it is is crap.
