Tester up sucks most of the offers are unavailable the one that are become unavailable before you have a chance to complete it. A My payout was rejected because someone used my information to create an account they say I violated the rules for having multiple accounts even though I never created more than one account. They should have told me about this issue before I wasted time and money on games to earn money on the app. They should fix this problem by cancelling the other account I didn't make and paying me.

I will admit that I have made a good amount of profit using this app (about 60$ over about 10 days), but there are some serious issues than need to be addressed.

First, I get way too many offers that only apply to android devices despite the fact that I have made it clear that I don’t own one (iPhone only)

Second, it takes forever for the progress bar to recognize that you have achieved a certain goal within the app you are testing.

Third, the ios app interface is not ergonomic and requires much more scrolling than it should

Also, it took far longer than predicted for the withdrawal pf my funds

Lastly and possibly the most annoying, recently the progress bar has not recognized any actions I do within an app i’m testing. It won’t even acknowledge that I downloaded the app. This makes testing of apps in of itself impossible until the bug is completed.

If these issues can be resolved I would love to give this app more stars because I love the concept, but three is the best I can do under the circumstances

TesterUp is an absolute waste of time. I spent TWO MONTHS on a really big project for the game Family Island worth $285. After reaching level 5, I noticed my progress stopped tracking. I notified tech support and kept playing with the confidence I’d be compensated further down the line. That never happened. After waiting weeks, I finally got a response asking for video proof, screenshots, screen recordings, among other things to verify progress. I submitted everything. After waiting another month, I finally got a response that it would be escalated and I would hear back. After about a week, customer service informs me I only made $19.50. Mind you, I made it to level 25 and that was worth AT THE VERY LEAST $100. They deleted access to the game and I was unable to see the amounts I truly deserved. To put the icing on the cake, I still haven’t even received the $19.50 and it’s been 2 weeks! I was told it would be there within 3-5 business days. This company is a JOKE and a SCAM and I highly advise you to spend your time elsewhere

It’s risky. Sometimes you get pay and other times you don’t. I got $181 by completing coin master and dice master ones, some of their games couldn’t be download on my android so I switch to my iPad with a new acc. After completing coin master I got no reward, and I was in the process of claiming 4 after game for a total of $300 and they game block me out by claiming my setting have Tor, VPN, or other stuff my settings clearly don’t have. If the game lag for you, like don’t check out ur task after u have complete it, just stop and claim ur reward and try to cash out fast and then delete it bc they’re tryin to scam you. They don’t like players who are actually able to complete the task. They want players who play for 4days then check out with $2 from a quest that’s worth $75+ so they’ll never be able to cash out from the game. You need $70 to cash out by the way. Some game offers $210 but your profit is $30 since 95% of the $210 is cash back (you make in-app purchase and then the game refund you. I think if we have that much we won’t be gaming on this app.)

I downloaded this at the suggestion of a gaming website. I trusted that because it was rated high on the App Store and on TrustPilot that all the claims advertised were legitimate. After about three and a half months, I finally reached the payout minimum and requested my first payout. For about a week, my account never changed and no money was received. When I contacted their customer service, they sent me two emails, one saying they were looking into the problem and the second email saying the problem was somewhere within PayPal. After contacting PayPal, they instructed me to get the transaction ID so they could trace the problem. After I made the request to customer service about the transaction ID number, they pretty much stopped responding to me. after looking at other reviews of the app, it seems like that a lot of people are having the same problem. it also seems that the reason why they’re rated high in the App Store is because they were offering people monetary compensation to write a positive app, knowing that they were never going to pay out.This app should be removed from the App Store and I plan on reporting it to Apple as a scam.

You can *potentiallyearn money but it’s not guaranteed. I have earned beyond requirements for a game yet TesterUp’s site wont update and their customer support refuses to acknowledge my emails about the issue. I even sent proof of my level in the game. It’s been weeks and nothing from them. I’m guessing there’s not really a “customer support” and it’s just a dead end. Aside from their app being junk, them not paying me for my months of playing, and the fact that it will take you literal weeks to earn any money for these (often terrible) games, it’s not worth your investment UNLESS you were going to play that game anyway for leisure. I’ve spent hours playing some awful games, enduring watching a bazillion ads in those games, which many of these games on their list are literally more ads than game, and earning only a few dollars in the end. It’s really not worth it. Now imagine you just got to the end of playing a crappy game and NOW TesterUp refuses to uphold their end and pay you. Bc that is where I’m at and I’m convinced this was a scam and they likely pay more for people to give 5reviews in the app store than to pay the players who they scam data from and then refuse to pay. I put in the time and didn’t get paid for my efforts. At least that’s at least on par with the rest of the jobs in the United States. ☹️

I was super excited that I was able to find one of these apps through Apple because my boyfriend has made some money off the ones he has but they only have them on google play. So when he showed me this one I had high hopes for this one!

Anyways, I started this app about a month and half ago. And at first it started out great! Easy to figure out and easy to track your progress and earnings. The first two games I started were , Coin Master and Family Island. I kept track making sure my progress was being monitored then about half way through they both stopped tracking. I contacted support and got no response. I ended up ending the jobs early so I atleast got to keep what earnings i did show for. I was bummed cause I had put my own money into both games but thought maybe it was my own mess up so I figured I try again. So I downloaded a few more apps, all downloaded through thier button and half of them never even registered that I had downloaded the app. And the other half did the same thing as the first two where I had made it half way and end up no longer registering. Again I had contacted support and got no response. This app is potential but as of right now. I'm very upset. That I wasted my own money thinking I was going to get it back in the end. To me this is just another scam to take your money. So I think today I officially quit the app. Unless I hear from them and we fix this mess.

If you read all this all I have to say is beware. And don't spend your own money! I spend endless hours playing these games for this app. And I have gained nothing. But loss a lot.

Sure, the first time you complete a test for them you get paid but after that nothing. They do not return support questions except for the occasional form letter that does not address your question rather it just repeats what you have already handed over to them. When you do have an issue, and there will be plenty of them, you will spend so much time getting your message across that it is hardly worth your time. I mean if I wanted to get paid one dollar an hour for my time I would go back to childhood and weed my grandmother’s garden. I have experienced countless shutdowns in the middle of a game only to be locked out of completing the requirements because their system won’t let me continue because their system believes that I have already completed the necessary requirements to have been paid but the their system won’t pay me because their system then says I have not completed the requirements. I have also experienced their system not updating properly. Most of the time their system will show that several requirements have been met then it will jump several requirements and check one off. How does a person have levels 1-12 completed not have levels 13-499 and then have level 500 completed. The system will not give you a pass and assume that you have completed 1-500, as it shouldn’t, but if you have actually completed them all you are not going to get paid because the system thinks still need to do all those unchecked levels in order to pay you. Now what do you do, write support? They don’t answer…there is nothing that you can do. I could go on about a lot of other issues but hopefully this long winded review of this scam will help keep you from wasting as much time as I have. Steer clear of this company.

So after a week with the App and keeping an open mind, I can say it’s actually a cleverly done scam. 99% of people will never get money. I can offer a lot of detail. This scam has been done many times, and they just repackage it here. Hopefully Apple will shut them down soon:

1) there is no way for you to input your info to withdraw your money in the App or online. The App literally assumes you won’t meet the minimum $70 threshold.

2) After waiting a week and following the direction to the T, the App would never verify my progress. Customer Service never responded to my email (which is the only contact method), and the App says it should take at most 48 hours to verify progress. I allowed App tracking and did everything. Nope, this is just fraud. I had dozens of levels and at least 8 checkpoints but the only “progress” I had was for downloading , which is worth $0.

3) many of the “monetary checkpoints” are sneaky and require much more money to obtain than the reward. For example, Open “2 X chests in 7 days and 4 X chests in 14 days” but it’s only possible to gain 1 X chest in game after playing the game for 30 days. Otherwise the ONLY way to get a chest before 14 days is to buy them for $49.99 on the in-game store. This is one of many examples where the checkpoint “rewards”

4) they offer “cashback” rewards that supposedly will pay you back if you buy an in-game item. I did one. However, after 7 days (and following the instructions exactly), the App never gave me credit for the purchase and Customer Service doesn’t respond.

TLDR: this is a scam (I tried it cuz I figured “get it made it on the App Store, maybe somehow it’s legit?”). It’s the same “Get ‘paid’ to test things at home” scam that has been done for many years over and over—even before the Internet. Heck, you even earn money by recruiting more people AND earn a % of their “earnings”—aka Multi-Level Marketing.

please be aware and don’t get caught up in the fraud.

….but their customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen. You may not get your money in the end and they will not recognize my premium status. The app glitches when I first set up my account and I don’t know if I accidentally made two accounts or not (if I did, something is weird because I used only one email. It didn’t go through so I redid it with my Apple ID which is still the same email, so… it should have been fine. Anyhow, I worked hard and tested games and made $90 and got to premium tester. I was excited and cashed out and was ready to keep going because I though I finally found a legit way to make some side cash. The whole system glitched and I finally deactivated and reactivated my account to see if it would work. I made that choice after waiting and waiting to hear back from their customer service. Finally decided maybe I could get it going myself cause they were NO help at all! After reactivating, it worked like a charm but… here it completely reset my progress (which it clearly stated would no happen). Ugh! So, I proceeded to start over the work of getting to premium tester again. Everything worked great until the day I got there again. All the sudden it wouldn’t show up that I had downloaded a new game. I tried another game and the same thing happened. So I decided to try and cash out. That’s when it rejected my withdrawal of $79 that I worked very hard for, saying that I violated the rules and had multiple accounts which is not true. I have been trying for over two weeks to get ahold of them and get my money and get back to work. They won’t even answer me or fix the problem. I even told them that I’d be fine with only receiving part of the pay if they could just take care of the issue for me. Still, they refuse to even answer me. There is no number to call either so they don’t have to be held accountable at all. I didn’t wanna say it was a scam and gave them plenty of time, but it seems very sketchy that it would happen twice just as I make it to premium tester, where I would start making more money from each test. I would gladly take down my review or change it if they ever take care of me like a good business would.

I requested support for a game that didn’t track, this is not the first time this happened but this time they accused me of breaking their T&Cs, without specific explanation and without proof. They proceeded not to respond to any email in the last month, I’ve never received my money or a response for my appeal. I would like for the offer to be paid off as it was completed in full and a video proof was provided

I am trying this app Tester up playing the games but they don’t pay the rewards. I send multiple times the evidences they still reply that they will pay me. I spend more than £1000 in this games as they are force to purchases in order to obtain the rewards. Inside the games the developers are playing as big leaders forcing players to spend money otherwise they will be kicked out from the game. In fact I was banned from this the game puzzle & chaos for refusing to spend more money. Coin Master games is a scammer too.

Between October 15-17th, 2023 I attempted to begin the process of a second payout which accomplishing the tasks in the game Coin Master. When I began the request I was told that there was issues logging in and to try again later. Then I was informed that my account had been suspended. Upon asking for support I was advised that I had violated the terms and conditions but could not be told what I had done. Now I have been informed that my account is deactivated and told to stay healthy and have a nice day. This is after I have spent real money to complete in game tasks as requirements for testerup.

I played fair & fair & I took pictures of all of the amazing coins and spins I got from doing tournaments. I won a ton of spins & coins & because of that, testerup thinks I used 3rd party vpn software which I don’t. I have no idea how to even do such a thing. So watch out because if you are good at a game and speed through it they will be unfair and claim you’re a cheater. They are not fair!

I am a member of the testerup app, and I have been testing a few phone games in exchange for compensation. I was paid for my first game that I completed. I have since completed the requirements for two more games, and they owe me . I requested my payout exactly 2 weeks ago on 9/13/2023, and have yet to receive it. They say that once you request the payout it could take between 2-5 business days to get the pay out. It has now been 10 business days.

I know isn't a lot of money, but I was going to use that to pay my electric bill, and I was counting on this payout to do it.

I need to get my payout that's due to me asap.

It was great for a few weeks and I was really getting into the games. The the app stated I was banned for "suspicious activity" like using VPN or something. I literally just play the games on my phone when I have free time. I emailed 4 times to get this figured out and have heard nothing back. I can no longer even get into the account with my email. I have a good amount of money saved up too so I was excited to cash out when I reached $70 since that's the minimum to cash out at. Very suspicious that when you start doing well in a game and earning a good amount of money, it bans you and you never hear back from them. I would try a different app to earn money if I were you so you don't waste your time on this and never get anything from it.

They say if it’s too good to be true it is. This is a scam. I’ve earned 130 so far. Today progress on 2 apps disappeared and I’m out$33.00. I read the reviews for ppl that have spent money and have been waiting over 10 days to get paid . I’ve earned 102.00 plus the 33.00 for lost progress. I do not advise downloading this app, something isn’t right, google and read the reviews. This is a scam and I’m going to report them . It’s not right what they are doing, they said payout in 48 hours we will see. Also, a lot of ppl are talking about glitches and tracking progress, are they purposefully doing this? I’m pist and they need to be held accountable. Apple should for allowing these scammers to let ppl make purchases. U do need to make in app purchases. This isn’t right .

Two tasks that I made any headway on towards earning money. I got an email that I completed the job early for no money it wasn’t a lot but it was like $10 for each of them so it makes me think this company does not want to pay at all.

That said, there are some tasks which it’s like a double scam where it wants you to spend money in order to hit one of the levels within tester up the catch is that levels must be completed in order and you can’t skip past the one it wants you to spend real money that they say they will reimburse you. However, if they’re going to just auto complete it for you where you get no money, you’re not even going to get that money back.

I use a lot of app testing and game testing services to make money. This one seems to be one of the shadier ones, if you get paid, you’re lucky.

I tried to contact customer service twice, no reply.

My husband and I have been struggling to afford diapers and medicine for our baby. A friend recommended this to make a little extra money. We weren’t expecting to replace our income or even make all that much at all, but we needed to do SOMETHING. We each worked really REALLY hard and spent weeks working up to that $70 cash out amount for each of us individually. When my husband went to cash out they sat on his payment for a week and a half. When I went to cash out they responded within 24 to both of us to let us know we were violating terms by having multiple accounts. WE ARE TWO PEOPLE OF COURSE WE HAVE TWO ACCOUNTS BETWEEN US! This company OWES us $143.30 USD and without that money we are officially toilet training our 14 month old and we are having to beg for money for teething medication. Don’t trust this company, they are so clearly just scamming vulnerable people.
Not to mention, I completed 7 premium projects and was never upgraded to premium. That was a lie as well.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Got this app 5 weeks ago and downloaded some apps to earn some money. I spent hours each day on these apps to earn the checkpoints and seemed to get the rewards. However, once I got to $67 (need $70 to "cash out") my account was randomly deactivated with no explanation. I have messaged support 5 times in the past 3 weeks (once for not recognizing a checkpoint I had completed) and never got any correspondence back. The company that runs this I believe is in Germany because the automated response I get when they receive my emails is in German and translated to english. I have followed up again and again with no response to anything; I even sent them an email in German! The day I got deactivated, I was logging in to complete another app, which would've got me another $15 in my account and then I would've cashed out. I cannot speak on if I would've actually received the money but I find it "convenient" that I get deactivated right before I hit the threshold.

This app started out to be pretty cool, get paid to play games and wow! It was true. I got paid a little over $100 for my first “job” and that was super cool. But then, all good things tend to end don’t they. Well, that’s true. I spent hours on one game and surpassed many of the levels until I wanted to cash out. And realized the app hadn’t crited me for reaching the appropriate levels in the game. So, as most of us would I contacted customer support over and over again each time following the suggestions to get credit for completing the goal. And after each support reply I would follow the instructions provided to the customer service team and would never get a solution. I’m very disappointed that I did as I was asked and was still just left with nothing for what I did. After numerous failed attempts at getting what was rightfully mine I decided to let other players beware of the fact you might not get paid. Other than that, fun games with a chablnce to raise some real cash. I just hope they fix this

None of my games will register as installed. What a waste of time

Some of the games take a while to reach the goals. Started playing them (ones which had 60 day time limits) finally get to completing the goals and the offers are gone. Completed within the time frame but not available to redeem. Do not waste your time

I originally downloaded this because I saw all the amazing reviews so I downloaded it thinking this is an awesome idea. Well I’ve completed tasks for money and have not been rewarded it just keeps saying I need to install the games which I did through the app. I’m super frustrated

I’ve downloaded multiple apps using their links and they had tracked the progress on them up until a certain point. Then, when I went to check my progress again the app that I was using was no longer available. This has happened to me more than once. Don’t download this app it’s a waste of time

says a lot that if you're playing on iOS that you need to except the little pop-up notification saying they can track your progress. But that pop-up never comes after I download the games or before. It makes it impossible for my progress on the games to be tracked. I have restarted the app I have tried many different games. It never comes, making it impossible to cash out or even complete any tasks. Do not download.
