FlightHub refund

Aug. 29th, 2018 Delta Airlines has authorized a refund of airline ticket (Confirm # Delta #HJP9W6) and put said authorization in their notes. I was advised to call FlightHub to receive relase from Delta of this refund and one of your representatives was telling me that the refund could not be issued due to "no show". The passenger was not a "no show". Passenger was refused entry into U.S.A. for lack of some documentation. I also made the representative call Voyage Alla Cart (ticket issuing company) and they too did not cooperate for the same reason. I don't understand what's going on on FlightHub's end because Elias (Delta Rep) has confirmed ALL the notes are on the system to release refund. I am extremely upset at all this runaround and assure you that I will never use FlightHub again and will be giving FlightHub a bad review over this experience.

FlightHub charging

I booked a flight with flight hub on 082718. I needed to change departure flight so i had to cancel my whole reservation then i got charged for it even though i booked another reservation that same day. As long as you book another reservation within 24 hours i don't believe you should be charged for it.Also itenarary was never sent had to go on sight and get it myself. I am not yelling just because the letters are all caps. Booking number [protected].

When you will cancel a reservation:
you pay 150$ fees
you will have a travelling credit but you will be able to use your credit only for the same destination, with the same air lines which could be 3 times mores expensive when you reserve, and the most important: THE DATE OF YOUR RETURN HAS TO BE BY THE DATE OF YOUR FIRST RESERVATION AND NOT THE RETURN DATE OF YOUR PREVIOUS FLIGHT, SO YOU HAVE UP TO 8 MONTHS...
NO refund.. very frustrated

FlightHub air ticket

I booked a flight with flighthub.com on air aanada to new york for two for sept 8/18. I had got the date wrong it was supposed to be for sept 8. I proceeded to change the date online. big mistake, they still charged for for the first flights, $564.40 and then charged me for the rebooking to the tune of $846.40. I have now paid $1410.80. that is a penalty of $846.40. I talked to three flight hub people and they all say there is nothing they can do about it. I also spoke to air canada and they say it is out of there hands. my flighthub.com booking No. is [protected] . air canada confirmation number is n8eerv. with a stroke of a key they could have refunded the first charge of $564.40. I would not have minded paying the 250 dollar rebooking fee for the two tickets but to keep the money for my first unused flight is robbery. both of these bookings were only 15 hours apart. what I would like is a refund of $564.40. yours truly gordon tate

FlightHub big lack of customer service

I have been calling Flighthub customer support for days just for a correction of my name on the ticket and trip confirmation. Not to mention that I've been put on hold for hours with no resolution. On August 17, 2 agents hung up on me. And guess what: there is no email address on their website to file for a complaint and when I asked the last agent I spoke to, he replied that they don't have any other than [protected]@flighthub.com where I previously sent a request for the name change. I have requested a call back from a manager or supervisor but nobody called me as of yet. Which kind of company, that really cares about its customers, only provides them with contact info to purchase its services but none to express their dissatisfaction?

I am experiencing the same name correction request. At first, their phone agent said I can't make any changes said I have to cancel my booking which will cost me $15o administration fee plus the airline will charge me $500 for the cancellation. (note: I only paid $780 for the ticket) THEN I will have to purchase a new ticket at the discount of $750.
I then replied I purchase cancellation insurance which cost me $20. She then replied this insurance only covers domestic flights not international. (to me that another scam)
To cut the story short I then phone the airline direction they said to me to send a copy of my passport to FlighHub they will then correct the name to me. Two days have passed I have not heard from them. I am crossing my fingers hoping a positive result.

FlightHub misleading message and refund policy

I card details were not accepted when i tried online and hence i called customer service on Aug 17th to have my booking changed to different dates. Althrough the call i was not told it will be charged in USD although i told the customer care guy that im calling from Canada. On the top right side of my page it said CAD(EN) and the person talking to me said that doesnt matter at all.I read a NOTE online that read "Please note: This charge is quoted in approximate CAD but will be charged in USD, using today's exchange rate of 1 US = 1.305995 CAD. Actual exchange rate applied by your bank may vary and bank fees may apply."
The phrase "This charge is quoted in approximate CAD" is so misleading and led me to believe im being charged in CAD. Once the confirmation was done, i saw in my email i was charged in USD and i realized their tricky words and i requested my booking to be cancelled. I was bluntly refused stating this is non-refundable and there will be extra penalty. Flighhub is robbing its customers.

FlightHub reservation canceled

Hi,

I bought a ticket flight to Québec-La Paz on the August 11th 2018 . I have received by mail my confirmation (no confirmation [protected]) with the e-ticket. The price was 548, 95 CAN.

Five hours later, I received an other e-mail telling me that finally my reservation that had been confirmed was cancelled... I had to rebook a ticket today (august 13th 2018) on literally the same flight, but the price had change to 709, 95 CAN (no confirmation [protected]) after 25 CAN credit.

Because the transaction has been made in Québec, Canada, there are laws that protect the consumer. I called the Office de la protection du consommateur.

In the Code Civil, article 1640 says that once the buyer and seller have settled (confirmed the transaction) that there is an obligation to deliver what has been negotiated . In the case, provide me with my ticket at the price discussed. Also, when there is a price displayed (under the article 224.C of the Code Civil) it should be the one paid. You cannot change it once the transaction as been made.

I ask a refund of 138 CAN on my credit card. It represents the price difference between the two tickets. If it is refused, I will have no choice then to begin to fill a lawsuit and send to you a final notice.

FlightHub Purchase of a window seat

Hi, I just alighted a flight from Vancouver to London with westjet. While booking this flight I requested and purchased a window seat. However on boarding the plane I noticed that I was not in a window seat which is what I requested and paid for. Rather I was placed in a dark and dreary corner. This meant that I paid for a window seat but yet did not receive it. Surely this is not something that can be ignored especially when I paid for it. It would be fair that I receive a refund at least of what I paid for the window seat. I have attached a photo to show you that it definitely wasn't a window seat.
I hope this can be resolved

FlightHub customer service

I made a booking on July 30th from Regina to Mauritius to go to funeraly Father in law and even got my confirmation number and was told that I would have my spot on the plane and 20 minutes before leaving the hostess at the airport still couldn't find my name on the system. I called them 3 hours before the flight as I was at the airport and 6 times did call them and always got the same answer that my booking is good to go but still nothing! 20 minutes before the flight leaves I got an arrogant one at the Flighthub telling me to book another ticket at the airport and once in Toronto to book for Mauritius!

I don't understand how could you be so irresponsible and such liar saying that all good that the payment has been processed and that I am good to go to the funeral and end up begging for a spot ! Anf paying twice the price being told in the beginning and worse is that the Flighthub kept on trying to pull money out of my account 4 times!

I would be grateful if someone could help me on this matter.

FlightHub unclear information regarding baggage fee

This is regarding reservation: [protected]

I have talked to supervisors Stella, Ryan and Marie and have explained the situation regarding the baggage fee we were charged at the airport for our TAP air portugal flight on August 4th, 2018. According to my conversation with flight hub, we had purchsed a Classic Economy flight from Nice to Toronto. On the airline's website, it says each passenger can take one luggge as well as a carry on with them. However, we were asked to pay a fee upon arrival at the check-in counter at the airport. Flighthub provided false misleading information about our flight. We should not have paid for luggage according to the information we had from your representatives. I have voice recordings of my conversation with your representative (Maria) who informed me that we had a Classic Economy ticket.
Flight hub owes me and my husband 170 Euro. We were humiliated and embarassed in front of hundreds of people waiting behind us as we argued with the staff at check-in counter that our bags should be included in our flight. We ended up paying the baggage fee as we did not want to miss our flight. This is completely and utterly unacceptable. I have sent emails to both [protected]@flighthub.com and [protected]@flighthub.com and forwarded the recipet my husband recieved from the airline upon payment for the luggage.

I recieved a call from customer service and I spoke to Isabel on the phone who needed a pdf/jpeg reciept of our payment to proceed with resolving this issue. She said she would get back to me in 24-48 hours and will resolve this issue. It now has been more than 48 hours since this call and I have not recieved a call back . I have recorded conversation with these representatives will escalate this to the Ontario ministry of Governement and Consumer Services and will file a consumer complaint if I don't hear back promotly.

FlightHub unclear cancelled flight policies and bad customer service

My mom booked her flight [protected] back in July to go to Paris for a funeral of my aunt who killed herself (suicide). However, my uncle said funeral date is undetermined because of police investigation so my mom cancelled flight.
When we clicked on cancel it only said we would be charged 150$ cancellation fee and had 1 year to reschedule. It never indicated when we clicked Cancel that we had a deadline to rebook flight because of the Corsair policies.
Then we get a call from flighthub giving us a 48h deadline but we didn't know details yet. The customer service agent said if we went over the 48h would have to send death certificate as proof of delay.

I've been wasting a few hours every day for 5 days in a row (from July 22nd to July 27th) with flighthub giving me unclear info and saying they would call in morning but no calls. Finally I escalated to management for some advancement.

The manager asked me 3 times to send death certificate (every time I had already sent). After she verified over the weekend, she told me Corsair says since we didn't have travel insurance it wouldn't cover rebooking. They would only give us back the credit so we can rebook within 1 year with a rebooking fee. Very tricky because she didn't telle me how much the booking fee was. I was just happy that the more than 1000$ was not lost.

I just called now and rebooked flight, the booking fee was $200 plus a difference of $100. So if you include initial cancellation fee (150$) + $300 we spent over $450 and I wasted over 7 hours of my life dealing with flighthub.
I am very dissapointed with the service that I got and I am telling everyone I know to not book with them. I was a customer with them many times but never anymore.

FlightHub wrong airport on ticket

I bought a return ticket from Halifax to Toronto, arriving in Pearson Airport. On the returning flight, I checked in and when I got to security they told me my boarding pass was for a different airport (Billy Bishop downtown).

My husband had to go ahead without me, and I stood in line at the airline counter, and missed my flight.

Later Air Canada put me on a flight from Pearson but I had to pay for a business class seat, unless I wanted a 12 hour wait.

The airline said it was Flight Hub's fault for issuing the ticket from a different airport. I called Flight Hub and they said no refund for me, because the airline changed the ticket and not them.

I am so disgusted, and am out over $500.

Well, guess what My complaint was "escalated" to the Customer Care Team. Yet, they have not acknowledged the complaint or responded to me in any way. Flight Hub is known for this, they ignore your complaints until you get tired of fighting them.

DO NOT USE FLIGHTHUB, IF YOU ENCOUNTER A PROBLEM IT WILL BE VERY COSTLY, AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE RSPONSIBILITY OR TRY TO RESOLVE IT. THEY ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY.

FLIGHTHUB HAS TERRIBLE SERVICE, AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE (BECAUSE THE MANAGERS DO NOT LOOK AFTER THE CUSTOMERS.

FlightHub problems with refunds

I booked 3 tickets on Aug 6, 2018. As soon as I got the confirmation, I noticed that one name has been mispelled by the travel agent. I called back to get it changed. FlightHub said they can't change the name so they will cancel the tickets for 75$ per person. Why do I have to pay for this and over something that the agent misspelled? Money was taken out so fast but they won't give it back until 2-10 business days according to customer serv or 6-8 weeks according to the email sent to me.

FlightHub flight change notifications

We were very upset when we arrived at the airport for our 5:30pm flight on flair airlines and found out it didn't exist! Our flight was changed from 5:30pm to 6:35am without us being notified. Flair sent an email out to all of their customers(including flighthub and like websites) to make them aware that the flight plans for the summer were changed, as of June 15th. This made us very upset to hear since we booked in February and you had at least a month and a half to notify us that our flight was changed. I will be filing a complaint about flight hub and about flair airlines if I don't receive any compensation for my troubles.

FlightHub flight tickets

To whom it may concern:

I contacted you about the flight tickets# 731-[protected]: Sochaknita Murray,
# 731-[protected]: Jasmine Jan Rivera from LA to Phnompenh Cambodia, round trip.

I booked this flight tickets thought flightHub. I contacted the FlightHub to refund this tickets as I did not use this service. They told me to contact the airline directly.
I called the flightHub on July 2 that I wanted to change the flight to July 3 they said they could not change less than 72h, told me to call the airline directly, which is I did and I got a charge $27 on my phone service when I made phone call to China, and it is auto-reply message and finally talk to person in China about my flight and the flight was going up more than $2600 which is ridiculous and adviced me to contact the flightHub back so I called flightHub, his name Gwen and I agreed to new flight rate and he said he will send me new flight confirmation. I was waiting for my flight confirmation I did not receive it . The feeling of waiting and frustration on July 3 around 3am, I decided to book the new flight tickets as I already in LA waiting.
It is very tiring and frustration as I called back and forth on the phone for this issue and I got charge when I called to China.
I decided to contact my bank to dispute this tickets on July 3 as I did not use this service.

FlightHub unethical behaviour

You can look up my file and see all the notes in there. Here is a breakdown...
On July 10th, I went to do an online checkin for my NONSTOP flight which was to leave on July 11th at 9:00am. I did not receive an email from Flighthub or from Flair Airlines to do this. I just know from prior flights that you are able to do an online checkin up to 24 hours before your flight. When I did this, I discovered that my flight was changed to 6:30am with a stop in Winnipeg! If I had just arrived at the airport two hours before my flight, I would've missed it! My return flight was also changed by half hour and it also now had a stop in Winnipeg. My first phone call was to Flair airlines. They told me that they contacted all of their travel agencies to inform them about their summer schedule changes and that they did not have my contact information since I booked through Flighthub. It was Flighthub's responsibility to contact me about the changes in my flights. This was NOT done. I do not know where the miscommunication happened between flighthub and flair and frankly it is not my problem. It was too late at that point to change my departing flight but I made several phone calls during my vacation to flighthub to rectify my return flight. I spent several hours of my vacation on hold, got disconnected several times and had to start all over, was told that I would be getting a phone call back and that never happened. I was also hung up on by a SUPERVISOR! This is all unacceptable! The details are all in my file. The day before I was to leave, I was told that I had to call flair myself and get it changed! I finally got the flight changed to a nonstop flight, less than 24 hours before I was to leave! I wasted a ton of time on the phone, on hold, during my vacation and in the end, I was told to call flair myself! This is absolutely ridiculous! These flights were changed without my knowledge and flighthub did nothing to inform me and they were not helpful at all to help me fix it. On two occasions, I was told that the layover in Winnipeg was still considered a nonstop flight because it was just for fuel. That is absolutely crazy! Something needs to be done to compensate for this stress and waste of time during my holiday! I was not going to call again and go through this all so I decided to write an email again.

FlightHub booking and billing problem with a flight

I recently booked a flight with flight hub. I made a mistake with the dates and call them to rebook it. They found a flight but then they made a mistake and the flight had To be rebook. It happened twice. While I was speaking with them they hung up on me. My wife spoke to them to arrange the flights and they hung up on her . At the end they charge the fees twice.

As a result I booked my flight with another website because flighthub was too uncompetent.

FlightHub poor customer service / no assistance

To whom it may concern:

I am writing this letter to express my disappointment with Flight Hub and your customer service representatives. I booked a flight last year to travel with my family to Portugal (my husband and my 2 children). Unfortunately due to my husband falling ill in January 2018 I needed to cancel the booking. My husband underwent a cardiac procedure in February 2018 and was advised by his family doctor not to travel for the time being.

I contacted your establishment on February 26, 2018 and requested a cancellation of my ticket due to medical concerns. Your representative informed me they would cancel the ticket at a cost. Later that day when I received a confirmation of cancelling from your business I noted the charge to be double what your representative had quoted me over the phone. After speaking to one of your managers and her listening to the telephone call the charge for the cancellation was reversed and credited back to me. During that same initial call to cancel the tickets I had informed the representative that my husband would not be able to travel before July and she assured me that if I want able to fly than just to call them and they would extend my travel credit. I had initially spoke to one of your representatives from your call center who had informed me that he called west jet and west jet would honour a credit under my name and he attempted to contact Azores Airline but they were closed and he would have to try them again the following day. When speaking to another customer service representative the following day he informed me that I would not be able to get a credit from west jet as my ticket was owned by Azores Airline.

When speaking to your manager who arranged a credit for my cancellation fee I had explained my situation to her and she had suggested going to the airline with proof of my husband illness and possibly be able to refund my ticket purchase. After sending in proof from the family doctor and a copy of my marriage certificate I was notified by one of your representatives that my request for a refund had been denied.

A couple of months later I tried to book a flight online for me and my two sons to travel but was denied and informed at that time the credit could only be used for the initial booking which this was never told to me either. I contacted your center to ask if I could use my travel credit for me and my two sons to travel to an alternate destination. I was refused. I was informed by your manager that Azores airlines set these rules and I would have to comply. I asked your manager at that time if I could contact the airline myself and put in the request and was informed by your manager that if I did get the okay from the airline flight hub had the right to refuse my request. I requested that the credit be transferred to someone else again I was refused and informed only me my sons and husband would be able to use the credit to travel to the same destination.

Most recently July 16, 2018 I contacted your call center and requested to extend the validity of my credit as I was initially informed by your customer service representative and was informed that flight hub would not be able to extend the validity of my credit. I attempted to go online and book travel to the same destination for the same passengers 1 year from now and was unable to book as the date was too far ahead.

I have spent countless amounts of hours on the phone with flight hub speaking to your CSR and managers and have really gotten nowhere and have just been directed in so many directions with so many different answers. When speaking to your Manager yesterday I did request a copy of the log that you have so I could pursue this further but was denied same. I don't feel I was treated fairly and would appreciate someone from your office contact me so we could discuss this matter further.

FlightHub very poor support

I have previously used tickets bought on FlightHub without any problems. However, the one time I needed help, their support team failed miserably.

This incident was related to a missed flight. Their support staff (I spoke to several, because every time one calls, there's somebody different) appeared to lack basic knowledge of airline regulations. One told me that it would be best to change dates; the next time I was told that the cancellation fee was $150 per passenger and the refund would provided as a Flighthub credit; the next FH employee said that I would actually get a refund (not a credit).

None of them explained that the Airline would also charge me for the cancellation (something that may have changed my decision to cancel).

To top it all, FH double charged me the cancellation fee. Now, I am still struggling to get that extra charge reversed. A really, really, big pain.

Overall, I can't see me buying tickets on FlightHub ever again.

FlightHub air travel

I am writing this on behalf of My late mother Ruby Sweeney. She purchased 2 tickets several months ago for her and her sister to take a trip together they were flying to Toronto for a family reunion and then off to Nashville for a sisters trip. My mother suddenly took sick and 33 days later she died on July 7 2018. I contacted flight hub to cancel the tickets after 3 days 8 hours and zero compassion I don't feel I am any further ahead. Flight hub has been given a death certificate My birthday certificate a marriage certificate anything they have asked for I have provided and they are still I willing to help. They say it's westjet policy and I know it's not. I have dealt with west jet for many years and have contacted them regarding this matter and it's not there policy. For My motheri would like to request a refund which they say they have now don't with the expectation of canceling fees but I have not received an email stating so an for My aunt I would greatly appreciate your understanding that she is not able to fly and go on a vacation by herself a credit to travel whenever she would like in one year would be a way to show a little understanding and compassion but Flighthub is not willing to do that. This is beyond upsetting at this difficult time for My family. My mom told me she purchased travel insurance however now I'm told it's only good for 24 hours after booking what kinda rip off is that ?
