We started plannin' around June, and by July, thanks to the Aroy? safari team, especially Tommy, we had everything sorted out. He gave us all the deets we needed and made sure our plans were on point.

So, we touched down in Dar es salaam in late November, ready to kick off our tour, and let me tell ya, we were blown away. The way this country handled Covid-19 was somethin' else. I couldn't believe my own eyes. They took some serious actions to keep things under control, and it showed.

Now, we ain't ones to skimp on accommodations, so we booked ourselves some fancy-pants luxury hotels and lodges. And let me tell ya, they were worth every penny. We hit up Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Kilimanjaro, and boy, did we see it all. The sights were outta this world. Serengeti was teemin' with animals, just doin' their thing, and it was a sight to behold. We thought we were prepared, but nothin' could've truly prepared us for the adventure of a lifetime. My daughters even joked about stayin' there forever. That's how amazin' this place is.

A few months ago, we were preparing for our highly anticipated African safari adventure with AROY Safari. However, things took a turn for the worse when they suddenly stopped responding to our emails. We couldn't help but feel suspicious about this unexpected silence. Eventually, Sarah reached out to us, explaining that Tommy, the owner, had been involved in a serious accident, leaving them unable to access any bookings. She assured us that everything would be sorted out, but they needed some time.

To our dismay, it seemed that they had no knowledge of our carefully planned itinerary, including the lodges and activities we had already booked, confirmed, and partially paid for. As the pressure mounted, we insisted on receiving some clarity about our upcoming holiday. Finally, just two weeks before our departure, they admitted that they couldn't guarantee the same itinerary and suggested that we cancel and receive a full refund, even covering the cancellation charges for our international flights. Sarah even sent us an email confirming these arrangements and requested our bank details.

However, to our utter disappointment, we have yet to receive a single penny. Sarah, on the other hand, has been offering nothing but excuses. Our attempts to reach out to them through emails, WhatsApp, and phone calls have been met with silence. Frustrated and concerned about the significant amount of money involved, we decided to seek legal advice and contacted a Tanzanian lawyer who will help us pursue our claim.

It's disheartening to see how Tommy, Sarah, Louise, and the rest of the team have resorted to such deceitful practices. They have caused us immense distress and trauma.

It's truly a shame that AROY Safari has turned out to be a group of scammers. We trusted them with our dream safari, only to be let down in the most distressing way.
