BeachBody streaming and shakeology

I have two complaints:
1. Last month I tried to delay my shakeology order for the next month. I was moving across the country and couldn't afford it. I also didn't have time to change my address. The mobile site did not work for me, I think there were updates done. I go to the website, did not work. No option for customizing shakeology for me. Now my three day window to delay my order was closing. On the third day, I contacted someone through the chat box. They said that my order was delayed and I was all good. Well, two weeks later my account gets charged and my shakeology arrives at my old address! I'm fortunate that my boyfriend still lives at that address or it would have been a bigger problem. I'm much more upset that I had money taken out of my account that I could not afford, after I had been told it had been taken care of.
2. Your streaming service, online content, servers, etc. Is archaic. Someone needs to be fired. I'm paying a subscription for something that works maybe 85% of the time and I feel i'm being pretty generous with that percentage. If your car didn't start 15% of the time you would get a new one. The website goes through 'updates' regularly, but all that changes is content getting shifted around. The problem with your site is not the content! Your mobile streaming is absolute [censor]. I have been a subscriber for one year and I thankfully haven't had to use the mobile app very often, until now! In my challenge groups, every single day someone can't stream a workout. Even more frustrating is I downloaded the workouts and still couldn't access them! I got up at 4:15am to get my workout in and couldn't stream it. There are very few things that are more frustrating, but also unacceptable for a service i'm paying actual real life money for.

BeachBody customer service

I tried ordering piyo online and could not confirm it although I had an order number. Something just didn't look right so I decided to use the chat option to verify my order... I was told it might take 3 to 4 hours to see my order and to try another time. I looked on your website for several minutes before finding your actual phone number in order to get a live person. When I called she also was unable find my order and suggested I call my credit card company. Not once did either agent offer to help me place another order to make sure I get the product they are supposed to be selling. I'm sure the original order (if it went through at all) could have been cancelled. When I said I will simply forego the product since it was not meant to be she basically said ok thank you for calling. Is this really good customer service? This is wrong and should never happen - especially twice! Once may just be someone having a bad day but twice in a row is condoned by the company.

BeachBody cancelling coaching account and still trying to charge me

I cancelled my coaching account back in January and the form did not process it. Beachbody still was trying to charge me in February. I called in and got that resolved and cancelled again. This time I got all the cancellation forms. I confirmed with Beachbody that it was cancelled.

Today May 9, 2017 at 9:00 am EST I get an email saying they were unsuccessful in processing my business account fee. Problem is that this fee would be for my coaching account which I cancelled.

I got this escalated to the corporate office escalations but they just said oh it is an IT glitch possibly. Ok so being in IT I said how is this going to be resolved. Well we will have to look into it. As my card on file is no longer valid because of my new card sent to me I cannot confirm if their system tried to take out money. I did google to see if others have had similar experience and was surprised to see others had as well.

My desired resolution would be confirmation that the problem has been resolved and some form of financial compensation given the potential fraudulent nature of the email

BeachBody customer service/shakeology

Shakeology product is great. Customer Service can be a nightmare.

I have used the online live chat as well as using the 800 number on several occasions. They are difficult to understand. Even in the live chat it is evident they don't always understand what I'm asking. Do not expect and apology if you have an issue. Those are hit and miss.

Their website is not user friendly. Customers cannot access and update their own account information. (I can with every other web account I have.) I had to call just to update my payment info and wasted 20 minutes of my time.

BeachBody advertising/online access

On January 30, 2017, I purchased the Body Beast program via the internet from Beachbody, LLC. 3301 Exposition Blvd., 3rd Fl., Santa Monica, CA 90404. The internet ad as well as the information commercial clearly stated that the purchase included “Bonus Gift #2: Free access to Body Beast’s premium online program”. As well as, “FREE OFFER stream your workouts with purchase”. When I received the program via the U.S. Mail, I discovered the program does not include the internet access. This deceptive advertisement was an attempt to force me to purchase an additional membership to the online program. There was no mention of a “Trial Offer” or that the internet access had a time limit. There was also no mention that the internet access required an additional membership. I subsequently contacted the company and was told by several sources that it is indeed a “trial” membership that could be claimed only when I purchased the monthly membership. When I spoke to customer service representatives in a recorded statement, they admitted that the practice was deceitful and misleading. They also stated they had personally dealt with numerous complaints about the practice. In its response to the Better Business Bureau in Santa Monica, CA, the company related that they are in the process of updating the advertisement because of its deceitful and misleading nature. Unfortunately, their advertisement in its original form deceived me (as well as numerous other customers) as to the true nature of the purchase in order for me to buy the product. Internet access to the program was an integral part of my decision to purchase for the company. I have purchased programs via the internet and to this day have access to that program via streaming through the internet. It is true the company offered an extended “trial offer”, but that does not fulfill the advertisement, it only delays the payment. Not only is this practice a violation of the public trust, it is a violation of the law.
I submit that this advertisement violates the law on several points.
Truth in Advertising Laws;
15 U.S. Code § 1125 - False designations of origin, false descriptions, and dilution forbidden.
Wire Fraud;
18 U.S. Code § 1343 - Fraud by wire, radio, or television.
California State Statutes 17200, 17500.

BeachBody your advertising and accounting practices

I ordered body beast in january and received promptly. The program was much too intense for me, so I returned it. I paid one time price of $54.24. I received an email 2/11/17 stating a refund of $32.47. I called customer service, was on hold 30 minutes before I got a service rep, felix. He was great while I explained I had only received a partial refund. I explained I have been purchasing from beach body for over 10 years because the products are outstanding. However, their accounting practices are deceiving and fraudulent. Every time I have taken opportunity of their 3 monthly payments, the payments are always just a little more than quoted. Never a great deal, but never the quoted amount. The last few orders I have bypassed the monthly payments and paid entire amount at once. Every time beach body charges just a little more, never the quoted amount. Felix agreed to refund the balance. He stated he would refund $9.95; I told him there is still a balance of $10.42. He said that refund would appear in 3-5 business days. I checked my account today, and there is a refund of $9.97. See? Just a little short of $10.42. I called beach body and one again, had a wonderful service rep. Both reps agreed to pass my message on to higher sources. I was told today that no more refunds would be allowed. Who is going to squabble over 45 cents? This practice is ongoing and fraudulent to the public. If beach body made just 30 cents on every accounting activity, no wonder it can afford the advertising campaigns it runs. You ask what resolution I want. Whatever resolution you attempt (Or ignore and don't attempt at all) , it will be of no more matter to me because I will never order from beach body again. It's too bad because all of your products are outstanding. I know I am not the only customer who has finally had enough.

BeachBody Garcinia cambogia 60 ct trial

I bought a bottle of garcinia Cambodia (60ct) trial for 3.95 . I thought that was all I owed 10 days later I checked my bank account and I was surprised to see they wanted 119.00 I emailed my bank and told them to put a stop payment. I hope they can keep them from taking the money I, m 75 years old and on a fixed income and I need my money to buy grocery's and gas for my car. So I can go to my doctor appointment.

BeachBody piyo

Hi,

I have previously contacted you regarding the Piyo workout dvd's that I have not received. I received the first one but the second and third were not received yet the money was taken out of my bank account. Also I am not particularly happy that no one has taken the time to respond to me regarding this. BeachBody customer service for orders not received

I have a reacquiring monthly Shakeology order that gets shipped on the 17th of every month. Last month i never received my order but was charged for it. Luckily, i had a great customer Service rep who gave me a refund and assured me that my this month's order will be on time and that i never have to worry about this happening again.

Sure enough, i did not receive my order again this month. However, this time when i reached out to CS, they told me they changed my shipment date to today (the day i reached out, which is 10 days after it was supposed to be shipped) and that they will still be charging me for it. They told me that this is now going to be my new shipment date.

I asked for an explanation of why this keeps happening and told them i did not want the date to be changed. If anything i would've preferred to get a complimentary shipment to make up for two months of no shipments. Instead the rep kept repeating themselves saying they apologize for the inconvenience and i will still be charged since now i have a new shipment date. This makes no sense to me! I love Shakeology, but this kind of service is making me seriously consider canceling.

BeachBody have not received my refund - nobody to contact

Ordered DVD package 319 on 11/16/16. Doctor did not approve, did everything properly and returned as directed. 51 days pass, no refund. Look at the hours on the website you can chat - Monday night ONLY. Tried calling - waited 45 minutes 3 times, no answer. Can't email, as they do not provide an email address.

Obviously, this company takes your money, but will not refund it as they claim they will do when you follow their directions. I expect any company to honor their own written rules, and I will do whatever I can to warn people about doing business with BeachBody. Next, I'll file a complaint with BBB.

My order number is [protected] . I want my $78.99 refunded by check immediately. Sorry, no way am I willing to give out my credit card number again.

BeachBody beachbody & activit

Beachbody does ship products. If you cancel, they stop for a month and then start recharging you. If they have your credit card number they will keep shipping. They sent my wife 2 products every 3 months, even after cancellation. They act like a criminal organization, they are impossible to deal with. A class action suit is in the works and the state of New Jersey is beibg asked to investigate.

BeachBody derm exclusive

This company is something else! Extremely difficult to return merchandise. The FDA needs to crack down on these companies that, in the end, care NOTHING about the person...only their pocketbook.

I cancelled my subscription but it was an exhausting long conversation with one of the reps who kept trying to convince me to stay with it. He even offered me more products to TRY? Why, if I'm not happy with your product would I want to try yet more? To my surprise they're claiming that they sent me more product...I never received it! Now they have been harassing me saying I owe them money. I don't think so!

BeachBody customer service

I had just got through watching the derm exclusive commercial on tv so I called, and this man would not let me go, he kept telling me about an even better special 4 times I had to listen to him, I would try and say something and he kept right on talking, and then I said, please! just forget it alltogether ! I was crying by this time, then I just hung up! What a terrible experience to have to go through, just from ordering over the home phone!

BeachBody cize dvds

As seems to be a common complaint, I was charged for an order I did not make. I was planning on buying the Cize dvd's, I even put in my credit card information. However, before I submitted it I noticed that there were 2 dvd sets in my shopping cart, and for some stupid reason there in no way to edit or remove items from your cart. After trying to do this for a while I eventually got frustrated and just closed everything out and figured I'd start over tomorrow. A couple hours later I received and email confirming my order (for 2 sets that I never ordered). The email said I my credit card would by charged for both, as well as $25 for shipping. I called 3 times, after getting hung up on once, then put on an endless hold the second time, the third guy said that my information "isn't in the system yet". So I have to call back again tomorrow. They couldn't look it up by order number because the email doesn't give one. The whole thing is shady and unethical. I was excited to try the dvds but I'm mad now, I will never purchase anything from Beach Body.

BeachBody unethical behavior

The following is a transcript from an online chat with Beachbody to cancel an order that was never submitted. Apparently, the company's practice is to charge you for an order even if you do not submit one, and then make it as difficult as possible to cancel the order that was never made. This whole process took one hour, and was only resolved with the threat of litigation.

I am being billed for a product / service i did not make or receive. the address on the bill reads beachbody, p.o.box 406, frmngdale, ny [protected]. phone [protected], [protected]. account no: [protected], amount: $19.95, client no: [protected]. it says i ordered merchandise on 12/16/2015 of which if did not order or receive anything. this is about the time i changed addresses from 560 brookview ct., apt 102, auburn hills, mi [protected] to 15251 ballast point drive, apt 1117, mb 17, fort myers, fl 33908. i did not order anything from this company. this is identity theft. they must have seen my of address maybe from some old mail . i had changed my forwarding address. i am being billed for a product / service i did not make.

BeachBody Unauthorized charges

On 2/15/2016 I was on the Beach Body website, and considered ordering the PiYo DVD set. Once I started getting all of the screens about adding extras and continuously trying to sell more than I wanted, I backed out of the order. I received an email at 5:45pm telling me that I should reconsider and order their product. At 8:47pm I received an email telling me that my order was confirmed. What?!

I contacted the CSR via online chat where "Pooja" told me that they didn't show my order in the system and for me to call back in 3 to 4 hours. Well, I checked my bank statement and there was a pending charge of $38.00.

I contacted the CSR via online chat again, where "Seyad" told me that they didn't have my order in the system until I said "So you cannot tell me about the order but you can charge my card already?" and then he told me that it was in the system but already sent to their warehouse. Really?! They refused to cancel the order - told me that I would have to return it.

By this point I had already contacted my bank and they had shut off my card to stop them from making any future charges, and they are going to have me dispute the $38.00 as fraud (seeing as I never authorized the charge).

The bank mentioned using Billguard, and I was shocked to see that 92% of complaints are unresolved. Seriously, that's just bad business. I was so excited about the product, but obviously after this fiasco I won't ever consider it again.

The company did send emails at 3:00am with the return postage information and a "we're sorry" email - but no offer of refund. Another odd comment from Seyad was that he had talked with his supervisor and they were going to try to stop the package from shipping - again, no offer of refund.

Their products might be good, but business practices are highly questionable.

BeachBody dvd's hip hop

I did not commit to an order on line and yet my information I had put in was accepted as Confirmation. The next day my email said my order was on its way? What order ? I called and told them that I do not want this product that was "on its way" less than 24hours after my supposed confirmation. The person Bill on the phone gave me a confirmation number to cancel after 25 minutes on the phone. He said in four days the amount would come off. I have contacted PC Mastercard on which the amount was placed. I am awaiting to see if they will do as "Bill"( if that's his real name ) what he said and cancel this order.
I plan to speak with the MasterCard company if this does not happen and cancel my credit card with PC in case these people are planning on using my card for future BS purchases.

BeachBody Activit

I called beach body to order DVDs and containers . Which I have no complaints about. The rep rattled off so many free trials etc and I agreed for free trail then I received a charge on my bank statement for over a 120 dollars. I called and they said it was for vitamins and membership. I never agreed to membership and vitamins were free trail. I called and the rep said he would cancel everything I told him I do not want any more charges on my account. Then I received a shipment of vitamins. They were to my understanding paid for. No refund was issued but the next month I received another charge for 59.90. I again made a phone called and said cancel my vitamins and do not charge my account again. Well month 3 another 59.90 charge and never received 42 dollar refund that was said it was given to me in Nov not on my bank statement a of January . I called tonight and asked them to take all of my information of my bank card ofF the account immediately. He said no more charges will be charged. I went online also an filled out the form to cancel this time. So next month I guess my next call will be to my lawyers and let him make my next call. Beach body this is not the way you do business. Interested if I will see another charge next month.

BeachBody worst customer service experience of my life

Back in November, I decided to start the 21 Day Fix program with Beachbody after chatting with one of my friends who is currently a coach. There was a Thanksgiving accountability group on Facebook that included a group of individuals who would be completing the challenge all at the same time. I placed my order in advance so I would receive it that Friday before the program started on Monday. On Friday while at work, I checked the tracking for the package and saw that it was out for delivery. Later that day, I checked it again and it said it was being returned to the sender because the wrong address caused a delivery issue. I immediately started calling FedEx to resolve the problem and found out that Beachbody ships through FedEx to USPS, which meant the package was shipped to a local USPS to be delivered. I spent two hours on the phone with USPS calling all the sorting facilities and trying to locate the package and came to find out that it had already been returned. I called, very frustrated at the time, to find out that Beachbody hadn’t entered my zip code correctly. Then they told me they would send a new package and I phonetically spelled out my entire address to verify it. Once again, come Monday, I am watching the tracking and the package isn’t delivered. It ended up at a different sorting facility in downtown Portland. At that time, I called and spoke with the customer service agent who said she would investigate my issue. She called me back a couple hours later and it turns out that not only had the zip code been entered incorrectly but the entire address was misspelt—even with me spelling out the entire thing. I called Beachbody back once again and (with the apologies of my coach) decided to try one last time. I told the customer service representative all of my issues with shipping. They tried blaming me and I told them I could send them the actual miswritten label from USPS because the representative pulled it. They still didn’t apologize but sent me a new package—not offering any discounts or anything. They still charged me full price for everthing. During the second or third call, I also found out that I had been enrolled in reoccurring payments for Beachbody OnDemand (the video service) and Shakeology plus paying fees to be a coach. All of these would be charged automatically to my Visa without my knowledge. Even with my bad experience, I decided that I would wait to receive the package and see how it went. I finally received the package and was able to start the program. The Shakeology that would be ordered on a reoccurring basis was for a 30-day supply at $97.46. In mid-December, I called to cancel Beachbody OnDemand because I had the 21 Day Fix DVDs and just wanted to use those for a while before paying for the streamed workouts. At that time, I asked them to change my shipping date for my 30-day supply of Shakeology because I hadn’t finished my first bag yet and still had quite a bit left. At that time, the representative said she would change my 30-day supply of Shakeology to be charged the 28th of every month (starting December 28) and shipped that day. On December 28, I was charged $198.92. I immediately called Shakeology to ask why I was charged double the cost and they said I had been shipped two bags. I asked them why I was shipped two and they said because I requested it, which I told them didn’t make sense because the reason I delayed the package in the first place was because I couldn’t even finish the first bag. The best part comes next. I told the representative that I wanted a refund and he told me that the two bags had already gone out so he would send me a return shipping label and I could send back the second bag when I received it. I asked him if he was going to process the refund now and he said they wouldn’t process it until they received the bag. I asked him if they would automatically issue the refund when they received it and he told me no. He said that I had to ship the bag back, track the shipping myself and CALL THEM when it had been delivered to get the refund. At this point I was completely floored. But it gets even better. I was out of town for work and when I returned the package had been delivered to my house. I opened it up and there WAS ONLY ONE Shakeology bag with a receipt showing a quantity of one. (As you can see in the picture). YET, I was charged for two bags even though everything accounted for only one bag being shipped. Once again, I called Beachbody back. I told the representative I wanted a full refund for both bags and she told me she would talk to her manager. She got back on the call and said she would issue the full refund but I needed to send the package and bag back for “inspection.” So basically after everything I had dealt with they were too stingy to let me keep the bag of Shakeology… I have never dealt with such a negative customer experience in my life. Beachbody continued to make mistakes and didn’t offer me anything in return (and most of the time didn’t even apologize). Even after all the shipping mistakes initially, they never provided a discount or any benefit. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
