Days Innno receipt

My wife and I stayed at the Days Inn, Los Angeles Inglewood Manchester Road on the evening of 23rd October 2018. My wife had previously had her passport stolen and we had to leave the free accommodation with relatives to go to the British Consulate in Los Angeles for a temporary one before flying home. We are trying to get recompense from out travel insurance. Unfortunately, the stay was arranged by phone, we received no confirmation from the hotel and when we left we were not given a receipt. The insurance company want this. I have tried to contact the hotel but got no response. Can you help me? Our names are Mr Mrs Longley.
