I reserved a suite for 10/16-17/2019. When we arrived at 8:00 PM we went to the room and discovered the most horrific conditions possible. The bathtub had peeling paint, mold, a blue substance on the ceiling, walls, curtain, and tub, hairs in the tub, a brown smear on the wall behind the toilet, paper and dirt on the bathroom floor. NO HOT WATER, cob webs and spider webs on all the ceiling, peeling paint and stains on the ceiling throughout, dust on the bedposts, dust on the phone and lamp, dirty and ripped furniture, large stain on sofa mattress (forgot to take this picture), an iron and no ironing board, no hangers in the closet, and old worn furniture. Before discovering the lack of hot water, I called Betty at the front desk and asked for someone to clean the bathroom, she said there was no one there and she did not have access to cleaning supplies. When asked to move our room, she said there was no room available, to check the next day. After discovering other issues, I called my third party reservation company and asked for a new hotel and a refund. They said it would depend on Betty, but they would find me somewhere else if I wanted to cancel. I told them I would find my own place. I found a place on base. I called back and once they talked to Betty, I was told that the hotel would not reimburse me for the 16th because we had come in at 6:30 AM. At 6:30 AM on the 16th, I arrived to ask if we could leave some of our items with the front desk, I was told by Chase, that he did not feel comfortable with that as he was leaving in 45 minutes. He offered to allow us to put the items in the room. He did not say anything about a charge. We put the items in the room quickly in the dark and left for the base. Upon returning to the hotel at 8:00 PM our keys did not work, so we went to Betty at the desk to get new keys. When we were able to get into the room and turned on the lights, we discovered all of the issues. No one should be subjected to these kinds of conditions. Please view pictures attached. If this is the condition of Days Inns everywhere, please know that I will never reserved Days Inn nor Wyndham again. They may have kept my money, but my plans are to file complaints with all state and local agencies, as well as, news outlets. The pictures tell the story.
Days Inn - filthy and disgusting hotel
Pool area smelled like a swamp filled with dirty socks, pool water was a nasty greenish brown, dirt all over the sides and bottom of pool. Throughout hotel, paint and wall paper peeling. broken floor tiles. Rooms: dirty, not vacuumed, towels-sheets-bed covers stained and had holes, maids just dumped coffee pot down sink, and left coffee stains all over sink, and counter, coffee pot not cleaned. furniture broken, appliances either missing or broken, (hair dryer, micro wave, iron, ironing boards. Black mold and bugs throughout bathrooms. The entire hotel was disgusting. VERY DISAPPOINTED! and will never stay at WYNDHAM HOTEL again!
