I am writing for two separate reasons, although one is based upon the other.

Monday August 6, 2018, my husband went to the Cold Stone Creamery on Central Avenue in Scarsdale, NY. As is the case most of the time, the line was very long. He has waited on that line and number of times because we find to be that good, so he was prepared to wait. After waiting over one half hour, it was time for my husband to order. It was not until then that he found out that the store was out of chocolate ice cream; he wanted to order two orders of the chocolate peanut butter. They did not make an announcement or have a sign or anything to indicate that they ran out of chocolate. Not only did he have to wait in line, now he could not get t type of icream that he wanted! Is this how you do business? Someone should have let the customers know about the lack of chocolate ice cream. I would like to register a com-Laing - which me to problem #2. Each time I tried to email customer service, the computer would either never connect or it would say forbidden site. So how does one get in touch?

Cold Stone Creamery pricing

My wife visited the Wellington FL location on March 22, 2018 to place an order for me. I have a very specific way that I order my ice cream, therefore, I wrote down exactly how she should read the order when placing it. She ordered a medium chocolate/strawberry. She ordered the chocolate with 3 mixins, and the strawberry with one. However, when the girl rang it up she charged my wife for a medium cup and a small cup. I have ordered this exact mixture everytime I have gone to a Cold Stone. With the exception of this visit, I have always been charged for the price of what I ordered. The price of a double flavor medium with their mixins. Never have I been charged individually.

Cold Stone Creamery cookie dough

So me and my mothers favorite icecream place was always cold stone . Our favorite type of icecream is cookie dough and so even though cold stone doesn't actually carry that type of icecream, we would always get French vanilla with the big chunck of cookie dough .it was the best! But now since changing the type of cookie dough you guys serve, we will no longer continue our business here at Cold stone . Very disappointing.

Cold Stone Creamery service and sanitation

I went into the cold stone on Carl t jones in Huntsville al. I asked for a cotton candy in like it for my son. I had to repeat myself 3 times and still didn't get served while they pried a container of ice cream out of the cold case because their ice cream was melting apparently. They used an ice cream scoop to pry it out and continued to use the same ice cream scoop to serve out the ice cream. They didn't even want to produce my order until my husband came out of the bathroom and came up to the counter. The girl that finally decided to serve us had blood shot eyes and was pretty unprofessional. Didn't even offer to make the experience right. Even had the gall to ask for a tip. I have come to this same cold stone for the last 9years and have never had to walk out without my ice cream because of the service.

Cold Stone Creamery I wanted a mix In product

I went to the cold stone location in Howard beach 157-14 crossbay blvd at about 10:45pm Saturday night 3.18.17 and they was closing the doors I asked the girl if she minded to take my order and told her I would give her a good tip. She said she didn't care about the tip and allowed me in the store, u asked for a cake batter mix in and she refused to do it. I asked for cake pieces she said they had none so I received just the cake batter ice cream with two Reeses in top and that was it. I live in Jamaica queens and go there and to the one in Lynnbrook which is a great store. This as one of the worst experiences ever. She was nasty and took my money and closed the door back. Nothing satisfying about that. For the service i got i could have went to basking ribbons or carvel. We like the mix in affect so we come to milestones for that reason. That was a waste of money.

Cold Stone Creamery Lack of customer service

I pre-ordered a birthday cake on 2 days prior to pickup, as I was told I needed to do by the employee on the phone. When I arrived not only was my cake not ready, there was nothing showing that my cake had ever been ordered. So next I had to take what was available and then have the girl working at the store write the birthday message onto the cake, which made me late for the party. I find this to be rediculous and frustrating and at no point was the employee, compassionate or understanding of how this had affected myself as well as the others attending the party. I expected better from ColdStone.

Cold Stone Creamery Old san juan (Puerto rico)

The store hours is advertised as if it closed at 10:00 pm. I arrived with my family (a total of three) exactly 9:37 in front of the store, where I found myself with a rude employee closing the door in front of me. I asked if there was something wrong with the store since there was 20 min. left before closing; and the employee just looked at me and closed the door with no cordial explanation. This happened Demeber 27th, 2016. I ended up at a Ben & Jerrys near by, that also had 10;00 pm closing hours and were not rude to me.

Cold Stone Creamery My "love it" sized sorbet

Good day,
Today I bought a "love it" sized sorbet at your movie towne trinidad and tobago branch. The ice cream sorbet barely occupied half the container it was in. I have been a loyal customer of the coldstone franchise both here in trinidad and tobago and when I travel abroad and this is not nearlt comparable to the quality service that I have received. I am extremely disappointed in the way the staff handled my complaint and I will be definitely not spending my money at any coldstone outlet any longer. This is not the level of quality or customer service that the coldstone franchise is well known for.

A very very disappointed formerly loyal customer.

Cold Stone Creamery Rude and disrespectful

I never was treated so disrespectful in my life. Came in the store to get an ice cream. The person behind the counter not even greeted us. When I was ready to place my order, she treated me like I had a bad sickness. I couldn't understand a word she said. Her english was very mumbling and she not even tried to speak a clear english. I told her that I can't understand her and she looked at my husband, even he, had a hard time to understand her. Oh well, when time came to pay, $ 17.02. I gave her $ 20.02. She slammed the 2 cent in the register and looked at me. I gave no tip. After that experience with her today. I will avoid cold stone and look for a friendlier ice cream place. Where customer service and respect comes first. She need a write up and a lesson in customer service!

One, maybe she was the one not feeling well and did not want to make you sick. Second, maybe she had a bad sore throat and could not talk. Third, if she shorted you $3 it is your fault for not speaking up. You sound very rude yourself.

Cold Stone Creamery Gift cards

Don't buy their gift cards as a gift for anyone!

I have made at least 10 calls today to have my lost gift card replaced with a new one for which I have a receipt and the card number. I have been through several layers of customer no service and yet to get the issue resolved.In fact, the customer service # [protected] was outsourced and answered by someone in the dominican republic which was a bad connection and required multiple cards to find out no one there could help with my issue.

According to retailer I purchased it from, they do not offer replacement of gift cards if lost or stolen—buyer beware

It really is buyer beware when you lose something you bought. It is not their responsibility to replace your lost gift card. Next time, be more careful with your belongings. Honestly, how is your irresponsibility their problem?

Cold Stone Creamery Service

This is one of the worst stores I have been to, the owner needs not to own this store. I know she is the one who is supposed to order the supplies for the store, so why every time I go in there they never have anything that I need. There are always new employee's in the store so the lines are very slow. Though the people working are very nice they have terrible service. Always low on ice cream, spoons, napkins, waffle cones and bowls, brownies, ice and money. There was roaches in the stores and keeping everything clean seems a issue with low staff. They need to be closed down!

Cold Stone Creamery - 20587 Old Cutler Rd, Miami, FL 33189 Don;t bother going here. The customer service is awful. I asked for vanilla with oreos, I can barely find the oreos in there so I go and ask the boy/man who prepared it and he says rudely, yeah I put one in there!" Are you serious, one oreo? I paid almost $4 for this crappy icecream to get one oreo? Unbelievable, terrible customer service. Don;t bother coming here. Better off buying your own icrecream at publix and your own oreos for almost that price and just mix it at home. PLEASE. Not worth it.

Cold Stone Creamery Never honored coupon and being laughed at

I presented a $1 coupon that I received from the newspaper. The manager mentioned that I could pick from 2 sizes and anything from the board posted on the wall. When I tried to pay for my ice cream with the coupon the cashier brought the manager over to review the coupon again. The manager said that it wasn't valid because I did not select a "signature item". I mentioned to her what I had interpreted from the manager. The cashier laughed at me and I said that it was deceptive advertising. The bottom line is if I misinterpreted what the manager had said I didn't deserve to be laughed at and the manager should have tried to make me feel like an important customer. They never honored the coupon and they never made me feel welcome. From the previous yahoo review it looks like that this location is taking advantage of customers.

I contacted the Coldstone Creamery headquarters. They apologized for their employee's behavior. The employee has been reassigned. Thank you Coldstone.

Cold Stone Creamery Rude

It seems that ALL cold stone stores have terrible service. I went to the one in Salisbury, Maryland and I noticed the girl making waffle cones. She dropped one, and used it anyway. They also left my friend and I waiting for ten minutes. The service was slow and the whole experience was awkward. They were rude and didn't seem to know what they were doing. They even gave me the wrong size cup. terrible, terrible service.

Cold Stone Creamery Worker not helping

I went to cold stone creamery last tuesday (2/22/2011) , when I walked in, there was a line of about 10 people. There was one young man working very hard to keep the line moving, but of course and unfortunately for him, everytime he would help one person and move on, two more people walked in. I noticed eventually that there was a girl in the back, in her early twenties with glasses, that was doing something else. I could eventually hear that she was washng dishes. Do those dishes have to be washed right then? The bell to the front door was ringing over and over again, but she never so much as looked up. She should have been helping the young man. Eventually he yelled back for help and she never came up. Then he yelled again and finally she came to help. But after only helping two people she want back to the back again! At this point I not only have been waiting for forever, but she is not helping her co-worker! She came back up again after a few minutes - to get the blenders the young man had used to make drinks earlier and wash then. She was a terrible worker and I give to young man credit for helping the whole line by himself, the is why, of course I tiped $2, which in the end I am sure he had to split with her - not okay.

Cold Stone Creamery Never again will they get a nickel of mine

I am an adult who ordered a 'kiddie size' and was charged 1.75 for a mini scoop of lousy lumpy ice and then another .75 for the cone! They insisted this is the company policy. I went to a different location to find out they do the same thing and I asked why and the nastiest of male managers said "i pay for it why shouldn't you" and I asked if they charge for cups and he said "do you want to argue or order?" needless to say I looked at him like he was crazy and left. Never again will they get a nickel of mine. Because they are franchised you have no recourse except to shop elsewhere or make it at home.

Cold Stone Creamery Worker was hangingover the counter talking to a group of her laud rude obnoxious friends

Two friends and i went to a cold stone this evening to enjoy some friend time and delicious ice cream. the closest cold stone to me is in Findlay, Ohio which is an hour away but to us it was worth the drive. when we arrived we found one of the workers hanging over the counter talking to a group of her laud rude obnoxious friends. there was three workers that we saw and they finally after waiting about 10 minutes came over and helped us. but they were just really rude and rushing us. after we got our ice cream the one girl goes back over to her group of friends and starts hanging all over the counter again to talk to them. the only time they were nice was when i asked for a lid and she game me the wrong size so i got into the car and it spilled all over!

Cold Stone Creamery Rip off

I bought two giftcards at coldstone creamery in klamath falls, oregon where I live for christmas gifts for my two daughters. This was in december.In january I took them to use the giftcards which had been locked in my lock box so they wouldn't get lost. The counter person said there was money on one card but not the other. I was told to come back tomorrow with a receipt and they would give me another card. So I went back the next day with my bank card information and date of purchase as I paid with my visa. Visa did have record of the sale. The counter person stated her manager said not to give a new card. So I got his number and name and called him he then backed off and said to bring the cards back again and he would look up the transaction with visa and on his records for credit card sales and replace my card. I didn't hear from him so I went back and all the windows were covered with paper. They closed ! So I just got scammed. When I paid for the card the guy didn't put the money on the one gift card. So I will never buy a gift vard again anywhere or if I do I am making them prove the money is on the card before I leave. Thanks coldstone.

Coldstone and TimHorton's staff are inexperienced and indifferent. They need to require receipts like other fast foods to prevent fraud.

Cold Stone Creamery Went to help another customer without washing her hands

I wanted to get some ice cream, so I decided to go to my local cold stone creamery at woodfield mall in schaumburg, il. When I get there, there were 4 employees working there, and I was the only person in the store, and most of them were just sitting around. They acknowledge my presence, and then continue gossiping about another employee. After a few minutes of waiting, another employee finally says, "someone help this girl!". The girl who helped me, a large dark-skinned girl with a tattoo on her left shoulder, gave mediocre service, and even dropped something, a sign on top of the freezer, in one of the ice cream tubs and just placed it back as if nothing happened. She continued to help me, and when I asked for a lid at the end of the transaction, she slammed it down on the counter, which was evidently the wrong lid. As I was gathering my ice cream, the lady was fiddling around with other money, and then went to help another customer without washing her hands.

Cold Stone Creamery No phone call, no cake, nothing

I phoned my local cold stone creamery on power plant pkwy.In hampton va. To order a birthday cake for my grandson. They then informed me I needed to come in and pre-pay for the order 48 hrs before pickup date. I did, in fact I went into the store within 2 hrs of the phone order and paid for it. There was a minor storm the night before I was to pick up the cake. No big deal just an inch of snow. There was a sign on the door that they were closed due to "inclament weather". No phone call, no cake... Nothing. I called and left a very angry message on their machine, with the instructions to return my call the next day. I waited until after 2:pm until I finally decided to call them again. I was told by the ill-trained idiot that my order was not paid for and therefor had not been done. He didn't even ask my name or phone number, how would he know it wasn't paid? I told him I had the recipt and saw online that they had taken the money from my account, he said I would have to speak to the manager, who was conveniently not there at the time. By this time I was furious! Not only did they completely ruin my grandsons birthday, but now they were basically calling me a liar. When the manager finally did return my call she tried to blame everything on a new emplyee, and wanted to still sell me the cake that I no longer had any use for. I have called and left a complaint with the corp. Office and bbb. They never even tried to compensate me, only tried to pacify and placate me in vain attempt to diffuse my anger. Never again will I enter a cold stone creamery! In fact I will bad mouth them until my dying day or the two lame-brains at that store are fired and that shop goes under. I will never get his birthday back, there are reasons behind my wanting this birthday to be a special one, and cold stone creamery ruined it. There are no excuses for their inadequecies. You can help me by strongly suggesting they fire these grade school dropouts and train (Correctly) someone with good work ethics.

Cold Stone Creamery Horrendous experience

What a horrendous expirience that was. A teenage girl was serving two people when I got there. This is the Cold Stone Creamery in King's Plaza in Bedminster, N.J. I wanted to order an ice cream cake for two days forward. I waited until the girl finished with the customers before me. Another teenage boy was standing beyond the opening to the back room of the store looking on, but not helping. By now, three other groups of people, totaling about eight, were also waiting. When the girl finally finished with her customer, she walked away to the back room, when she came back out, she started to tend to the people nearest the back room. At this point I lost my good predisposition. I waved her over at the same time that the other people pointed to me. I stated in a controlled voice what I wanted. She was attentive but did not know if she could make the cake the way I wanted it, she did not know if she would have the proper ingredients and she did not know if it could be made for two days ahead.( all this time the boy by the back room is sporting a magnificent style in ignoring every one). The girl telling me how she is not sure of anything, comes alive, gets excited with friends coming in the store, ignores me completely and starts an animated conversation with her friends. I ask her if there is a manager- response- Huh?- Ah- I'm sorry?. Well you get the picture. These two imbecils are working for a much bigger idiot who God knows how they got a franchise out of this corp. I hope that this review gets to the careless, insensitive idiot that owns this store in Bedminster N.J. I hope that the executives at the Cold Stone Creamery read this review and do some thing about it, but most of all, I hope that a lot of potential customers read it and demand decent service where we spend our money and lastly I hope those two stupid teenagers get fired so they have more time to spend staring into space and being with their frends.

Dear Gosm, I think the reason you were not helped is because they probably thought you were going to eat the cake by yourself because its obvious they saw your fat ### waiting in line. Maybe in the future you should try salad creations next store or even join a weight watchers group because its obvious you can't control yourself when it comes to food.
