I purchased 2 packs of Camel Wides...watched as the cashier opened a carton and took the 2 packs out of the newly opened carton. When I opened the first pack I noticed something was wrong...there were only 18 cigarettes...I figured mistakes happen. so I thought nothing of this. When I opened the 2nd pack I see that this pack only had 16 cigarettes. Obviously this entire carton is defective and I feel cheated. Of course I can't return them to the convenience store as their policy is once the pack is open no exchanges. What a great experience for a long time customer such as myself.

I phoned customer service after not being able to retrieve my password for my on-line account. I ended up being told my account had been locked an cannot be reversed. Nobody was able give me answers as to why. Only that it could not be changed. That makes no sense to me. I'm 43 years old, of ample age and yet I'm being told I cannot get anymore coupons with no explanations. Camel is so HUGE that they don't care about loosing customers. I've smoked crush blues for several years now and my boyfriend has smoked crush bolds for a while as well, either way neither one of us have ever came across this in our time with this brand. I'm not sure if it is a specific carton or case going around in San Antonio but we have both repeatedly gotten packs that have several (up to 5 or 6 per pack) already popped menthol beads. The resulting taste is horrific, so far out of the last 3 packs I've had, maybe 25-30 were smokeable, don't want to cause a fuss, just thought it should be brought to the company's attention. Unfortunately, I think if I get another defect pack I'm going to be at least switching to a different camel product, if I don't switch back to Marlboro.

Camel should really study the ban on flavored cigarettes a little more closely when it comes to Camel Frost all they really have to do is get rid of the signature collection part and not produce any of the other flavors they had and just produce camel frost. When it boils down to it camel frost is a strong menthol cigarette and should not be a part of the flavored category. Honestly marbolo still has the smooths and it tastes like mint cookies so why shouldn't camel be able to make camel frosts again makes no sense I have been smoking them ever since I was 19 now i am 25 and the frost was the only cigarette i really liked true menthol. Tried to send camel a e-mail but you have to register first and it wont let me register

defective cigarettes
the glue is not holding the filter onto the cigarette. 5 out of every pack seem to be defective. after 4 packs i have lost 18 cigarettes.

i bought a pack of camel lights and opened the pack, lit my cigarette and obviously wasnt paying attention. i noticed it was wet on the filter when i put it on my lips to smoke it and i looked at it and it had a smiley face drawn on it. now if i had'nt had the pack for more that a minute i would think it was a practical joke played on me but i had just purchased them and was alone. i assume it was spit from the facory it was made in, i cant think of what else could have cause this nasty cituation! absolutely discusting! who knows whos nasty little diseased mouth the saliva had come from!

It wasnt spit or anything like that. Humans very rarely touch a cigarette during the manufacturing of cigarettes. It is all done by machines and robots. They go from one machine that makes the cigarette right to the machine that packs them into packs then cartons. Then robots transport the cases to the trucks to be sent out. Humans are only there to ensure everything is going ok.

camel cash has been missing from cigarettes
My husband and I have been loyal Camel smokers for several years, and recently have been very disappointed in the quality of packaging and the fact that the camel cash has been missing from my husband's cigarettes for the last 2 to 3 weeks.
The packaging complaint is that the hard packs of Camel full flavor and Camel Special Lights has no flaps glued on the box lids.
We are now finding out there is no place to lodge a complaint directly with Camel or RJ Reynolds about these issues. We want them to know we are considering finding a brand with their competition to switch to.
Also, we notice that we no longer receive the camel cash catalog, but this is supposedly available online. We did prefer to receive the catalog by snail mail, so we could look at them anytime, at our leisure, and not have to be online to do so.
If you could help us out by getting in contact with them, we would appreciate it.

Yeah, I agree. I'm actually a very infrequent smoker these days, so I rarely buy packs, but I still receive letters from Camel on probably monthly intervals. However, I never received any notifcation that Camel Cash was expiring. I found a few hundred in a box today and after counting them all, I went online and just found out this news, so I'm a bit miffed :/
What a rip off! I just found out that the "thousands" of Camel Cash Coupons are worthless. I got no phone call from them. I got no mail or letter or post card from them. I got no e-mail from them. I just happened to gather all the Camel Cash coupons together this morning and found out that I am out of luck. So, Camel let you buy their cigarettes for years and years and spend all that time collecting only to end the program...slam shut. What a huge rip off.
They are ripping us off. Without a phone or computer a person would have no method of knowing about the end of camel cash. I was still getting c-notes in my packs up till Feb. 2007. Then I still had time to dispose of 1000 c-notes for coupons books. Not much of a deal compared to the free coupons that are out there.
I had collected Camel cash coupons for years. I only got a brief telephone call telling me that they would cease the coupon program and I would have until march 2007 to redeem my coupons. I tried to get on line to redeem my coupons and there are no items left to purchase. In fact, the only thing you can redeem your Camel Cash coupons for is a few cigarette coupons. Many of us had been complaining on Camel's message boards and it seems like some were randomly getting iPod Nanos in the mail from Camel (to passify them)? However, I've now been blocked by Camel from their message boards. I think they know how many Camel Cash coupons have been saved out there. Some posters on the message boards talk of being left holding thousands of coupons with no way to redeem them. I feel Camel is shirking their financial obligation. This all is really a bad business practice by Camel.
3 pac scam
My husband and I are smokers, and when we do purchase anything we always look for sales and promotions, so when we see a promotion that says buy one get one free we go for it, we buy it ' well camel ciggeretts have a bs promotion going on right know, when you purchses 2 packs of there lights you get the third for free all for the scam price of 9.40, well i have yet to pay more then 3.70 a pack ever (i live in denver ,colo) so when i fell for there bogof propaganda i payed 4.70 a pac ,and when we asked several cashiers at all the places that offered the camel bogof promo ,they all said well your really getting each pack for 3.64 instaed of there reg price of 4.70 a pac.so even they admitted that it's really a discount on each pac when you buy 3 pacs,your not really getting anything for free. FALSE ADVERTISING at it.s finest.And the kicker after each place gave use there almost word for word explaination,they all sold us a single pac for 3.64 which is there reg price that they sell there single pacs of camels for, not the 4.70 price hmmm,what am i not getting.Well we have been pointing out this bs scam of CAMEL to anybody and everbody we know, and since i have no shame if i see someone (4 people so far) about to purchase the 3 pac scam i have had no problem pointing out that bottom line there not getting anything for free, i'm very proud to add that all 4 of the people made the choice not purchase the 3 pac deal. marboro here we come, because if they tell 2 people then they tell 2 people and so on and so on.

We have had several cigarettes lately with this problem, it wastes half the cigarette. 4 alone out of this pack have been like this. There is a stem sticking completely thru the cigarette. You can see the holes and 6smoke coming out of them after it is lit. We purchased these cigarettes in prairie city iowa at the local Caseys General Store.

I bought a packet of Camel White cigarettes and one of the cigarettes didn't have a filter. I'm a loyal brand supporter, however this kind of incidents are unacceptable. Mostly due to the fact that the price of these products are so high.

I've bought the Camel crush menthol silver for a long time and have not had any issues till recently. Out of the last 4 packs the filter has fallen off of at least 30 cigarettes. I don't have a receipt but this is getting ridiculous...cigarettes are not cheap.

Been smoking camel wide blue box before were called that but now they are just crap tbought i was tripping bad on your part reynolds if you dont get it together and quit trying to scam your customers we have no problem taking our money elsewhere... The only alternative for now i find is the original non filter pack but gosh they are more expensive than any others
Not happy with the change you made to the camel wides. They do not taste the same. Burn up way to fast and burn your throat. I have been smoking this brand since it came on the market. I guess it's time to quit.
