Acai Berry Fraudalent Credit Card Charging

These companies have blogs with people stating to use an acai berry and colon cleanse aid and to contact for a free trial. They bill you shipping only at first. You don't receive the free trial and there are statements on the PACKING SLIP that they are going to charge your credit card within 15 days $94.57 if you don't cancel. The phone [protected] isn't answered. The "LIVE CHAT" www.Mytrialsupport.com is also not live chat but bogus with an automatic reply with links to sites that don't work. Your credit card then gets charged continuously for $94.57 over $180 a month for both products and there is no way for you TO CANCEL IT. The only address provided is a Boca Raton FL address at 127 NW 13th Street, Suite #4 Boca Raton, FL 33432. Someone needs to shut these people down. I had to cancel my credit card and dispute all charges to get out of this nightmare and it has cost me $400 so far!

Well Ericka, what I hate is when people buy two pairs of boots for their daughter, pay by check, then put a stop payment on such check without returning the boots. This is what you did. If you cannot pay for your merchandise which looks like a constant, then you need to shop at thrift stores where you can afford them. Sure is different when the shoe is on the other foot. I'm sure this will be a continuous pattern for you. Hopefully your scam tactics arent being passed down to your kid.

This is a huge scam. I too have been ripped off. I have cancelled the Acai berry formula and the total cleanse. I have talked to people and they have told me they have cancelled my order when I'm still receiving the product and still being charged to my credit card. I will be cancelling my credit card because of this.

I too am having a problem with Acai berry/colon aid... I cancelled the Acai berry and had to eat the 69.00 fee. Once I thought this was handled the same nightmare was repeated with the colon aid.. I had to cancel my credit card . Nothing is shipped with the colon aid. It comes in a plain envelope with no statement or information. The customer serice is adamant about returning this product. They said there is NO number for billing. I truly was scammed. They are a bogus company and to top it off, no weight loss was reported.

Acai Berry - Fraud

This company is a total scam! Shame on me for not researching them enough. They will post a bunch of articles on their site about Acai Berry and colon cleansing products, which you think have been successful on such shows like, Oprah, Rachel Ray...but when you look closely its not even their product its an imitation. If that is not bad enough and false...

Gina
************ PLEASE READ THIS ********************** I just looked up the ingredients in my bottle of PURE Acai Berry.. An Advanced Wellness Research Product. Here are the ingredients.

*acai berry juice powder 1200mg *... this has the asterisk. Now I go to the ASTERISK on the side and it says this. THESE STATEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN EVALUATED BY THE FDA. THIS PRODUCK IS NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, CURE, TREAT OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE, BUT IS RATHER A DIETARY SUPPLEMENT INTENDED FOR NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT.
* Daily value not established.

Here are the OTHER ingredients: Gelatin, cellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.

CELLULOSE is NOT digestible by humans!

Here are some definitions and links to the sites where it comes from. Do your own google search too!

CELLULOSE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellulose
Cellulose
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
Cellulose, a linear polymer of D-glucose units (two are shown) linked by β(1→4)-glycosidic bonds.
Three-dimensional structure of cellulose, with four glucose units visible. (Black=carbon; red=oxygen; white=hydrogen.)
Space-filling model of cellulose, with four glucose units visible.

Cellulose is an organic compound with the formula (C6H12O6)n, a polysaccharide consisting of a linear chain of several hundred to over ten thousand β(1→4) linked D-glucose units.[1][2]

Cellulose is the structural component of the primary cell wall of green plants, many forms of algae and the oomycetes. Some species of bacteria secrete it to form biofilms. Cellulose is the most common organic compound on Earth. About 33 percent of all plant matter is cellulose (the cellulose content of cotton is 90 percent and that of wood is 50 percent).[3]

For industrial use, cellulose is mainly obtained from wood pulp and cotton. It is mainly used to produce cardboard and paper; to a smaller extent it is converted into a wide variety of derivative products such as cellophane and rayon. Converting cellulose from energy crops into biofuels such as cellulosic ethanol is under investigation as an alternative fuel source.

Some animals, particularly ruminants and termites, can digest cellulose with the help of symbiotic micro-organisms that live in their guts. Cellulose is not digestible by humans and is often referred to as 'dietary fiber' or 'roughage', acting as a hydrophilic bulking agent for feces.

Magnesium stearate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnesium_stearate

Magnesium stearate, also called octadecanoic acid, magnesium salt, is a white substance which is solid at room temperature. It has the chemical formula Mg(C18H35O2)2. It is a salt containing two equivalents of stearate (the anion of stearic acid) and one magnesium cation (Mg2+). Magnesium stearate melts at about 88 °C, is not soluble in water, and is generally considered safe for human consumption. Because it is widely regarded as harmless, it is often used as a filling agent in the manufacture of medical tablets and capsules. In this regard, the substance is also useful because it has lubricating properties, preventing ingredients from sticking to manufacturing equipment during the compression of chemical powders into solid tablets. It is used to bind sugar in hard candies. It is also a common ingredient in baby formulas. In pure powder form, the substance can be a dust explosion hazard, although this issue is effectively insignificant beyond the manufacturing plants using it.

When used as a filling agent in the manufacture of capsules and tablets, such as vitamins, the source of this ingredient is typically bovine. However, there is an increasing number of vegetarian options in which the product specifically indicates it contains magnesium stearate from vegetable sources.

Magnesium stearate is a major component of "bathtub rings". When produced by soap and hard water, magnesium stearate and calcium stearate both form a white solid insoluble in water, and are collectively known as "soap ###".

Silicon dioxide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silica

The chemical compound silicon dioxide, also known as silica (from the Latin silex), is an oxide of silicon with a chemical formula of SiO2 and has been known for its hardness since antiquity.[1] Silica is most commonly found in nature as sand or quartz, as well as in the cell walls of diatoms. It is a principal component of most types of glass and substances such as concrete. Silica is the most abundant mineral in the earth's crust.

IS THIS STUFF SAFE..? NOT DIGESTIBLE BY HUMANS? THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND I WOULD BE CAUTIOUS OF TAKING SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
I took it twice and each time i felt sick to my stomach!

Betty

Someone had posted the ingredients here somewhere. One of the ingredients said that it was not digestable for humans. If I find it, I'll post it. It's in here somewhere.

Don't just cancel your card, cut it up. You will find more unwanted charges.

Go to: /link removed/

You might have a better chance there.

Acai Berry 14-day trial not really full 14 days

The risk-free 14-day trial and all the terms and conditons are not prominently displayed when completing the risk-free trial form. There is a check-box in the middle of the entry form to indicate you accept the policies, but there is no promiment display, nor pop-ups or any way to initial each item in the conditons. You're really floated right through the registration without the site displaying the terms.

At any rate, the terms are 14-day risk free trial from the order date, not the received date so your trial period may only be 8 days for example. If you don't call to cancel in the 14-day period from the order date, they automatically bill you for 78.81 for the remaining balance of the risk-free trial.

I certainly wouldn't know if the product works for me in less than 14 days, so it's really not risk-free at all. I feel it was a very slick way to get you enrolled to pay 4.99 shipping + 78.81 for a 30-day supply of Pure Acai Berry. It's a scam and I should have known better.

I am so glad I came to this board! I ordered this product and it took about 3 days for them to deduct the $5.95 shipping for my 14 day free trial, but no shipping confirmation. I came to this sight and saw all the complaints and then tried the number on my email confirmation of my order...busy signal. I sent an email the cancel@acaiberry.com address they listed...no response/busy signal. Called the number on the FXSupplements website...it says mail box is full and I could not leave a message. This is when I knew for sure and I immediately called my bank! I had to close out the debit card I used and get a new one so that they could not continue to charge me like I knew they would. I can't afford for them to take $80 out of my account whenever they feel like it! Good thing my other debit card is still active because I just shut down the one and kept the other open so I don't have to go without my card! I nipped it in the bud so if you are reading this, you should nip it right now too! If you have not ordered yet, don't do it! These people are scammers, frauds, and theifs!

I signed up for a "free" sample of Acai Berry Maxx and after paying fo one additional shipment, decided I was not interested. I tried to call the customer service number, use the live chat and email the company--all with no success. They seem to be conveniently "busy" when you call, and their hours of operation are not conducive for someone who works a9 to 5 job.
When I finally got through on the customer service phone line, I cancelled the order and told them I was returning products (unopened) that had been shipped without my agreement. They verbally acknowledged this but never sent a confirmation of my discontinuation. I continue to receive product and be charged on my credit card. This is a disgrace and this is a very unprofessional, immoral organization. Stay away.

I ordered this supplement on 11-16-08. I printed the receipt from the computer and it stated that the order might be delayed because of not being able to charge my credit card. Well, Guess What, my credit card was charged but I did not receive the product. I called customer service and waited 20 minutes and listened to a bunch of garbage about how they appreciated my time. Well after 20 minutes, they can take a flying leap. I will now have to write my credit card company and not pay the charges, this is all so unacceptable if they did their job.

well i md mt order on 11-16 gv them about 4 days to get it me, never came so i started calling the number and yes it was a frickin voicemail, and after days of back to back calling it sd this mailbox is full, goodbye! so i sent a million emails to the email address they sent never recieved feedback or my product yet by that time it was the 11-28 so i knew my free trial was gonna be up soon so. so i tried callin 1800 instead of the 1888 num they provided and it was some type of school and they lady i spoke to was very nice and let me kno that they hv been gettin calls for wks about this, ppl being curious like me and tryin 1800 instead and she sd they all were sayin the same thing i was. cant get ahold of them, thur emails or phone, never recieved product, ppl gettin charged over and over again. and like she sd a bank teller called the number to make sure it was ture and like a previous comment sd all u gotta do is go to your bank and destroy the debit card or credit card u used. so call your cc comp. if u used a cc. i used my debit so i had to go to the bank. and she got rid of that card and im waitin for my card to come in the mail! SO DO NOT BELIEVE THIS COMPANY! and i got my 5.95 bck too! i was so irate i still am but now that i kno theres nothin else they can do im better! so hurry up and handle your business with the card u used!

I placed an order for a "Acai Berry Maxx Free Trial Offer (1 Month Supply)" on November 9, 2008. The Shipping was for $5.95, order number 137355. I only received the order last week and then my credit card bill arrived and found 2 charges from FXSupplements, one for the $5.95 on November 9, 2008, and one for $79.95 on November 23, 2008. I emailed the company and never received an answer as to why. I then called today, November 13, 2008, and was told that I agreed upon the terms and that by checking the box that was my signature. Being at a loss because I did not remember checking any terms box, I checked the website and it is below the order form and does not have a check box agreement to the terms as the customer service respresentative implied. I have had to check an agreement many times but it's required prior to completing the order and definitely not at the bottom of the order form where you do not even see it. I can understand why FXSupplements has so many complaints. I also know this compalint is not going to do any good. I just wish I could let others know before they become a victim too. I did cancel my order today of course not before being charged the $79.95. Also, the customer rep said it never said free trial of Acai Berry, ok, then what does free trial offer mean?

They billed me $85.00 which I didn't authorize and it never said on their internet add they will be doing this every month until I cancel. They didn't have their number listed anywhere. I found it in my checking account under the withdrawal FXSUPPLEMENTS.COM [protected] TX. They also use another name and number as MAX ACAI BERRY [protected].

I called many time and finally got thru on 1/23/09 and they cancel my order and sent me a confirmation number. I also had to cancel my debit card due to any further charges. Thanks Also they acai maxx doesn't work for me. Just gave me high blood pressure 151/70. It now 110/70.

I was out of town when item was sent. When I returned I tried for 7 days to reach this company. Phone either was not
answered most of time or busy signal.
Finally reached today, 12-13-08 @1:25 PM. Lady told me that it was too late because I should have returned item
after 14 days. How can any one tell if a product is working in 14 days? Now they tell me that the bottle I received
was not just a sample, but the $5.95 charge was for the shipping and then charged my American Express Card for
$79.95 which she then tells me I can return it but I will have to pay the shipping and they also will deduct $19.98 for
stocking fee. This is absolutely a rip off! I am returning it on Monday 12-15-08 because today, Saturday the Post Office
is already closed.
I will fight this further with my American Express Card.

freel trial offer...received products promised from freel trial, But, they arrived with no invoice or instructions.
I tried to find their website and there is none...at least that I can find. I found a tool free number for them on one of the fraud protection websites, [protected]. But, noone answers and they specifically say do not leave a message to cancel your order. They say to send an email to CANCEL@ASAIBERRYMAX.COM. I did that, but received a response that that website does not accept emails?

I have read several reports of fraud from this company and I cannot seem to contact them...as a last resort, I called my bank and canceled my debit card and had them issue me a new one. Just to be safe...

I ordered the sample back in November and when it came I wanted to cancel future deliveries until I knew whether or not I wanted to continue using the product. There was no phone number on the invoice. There wasn't really an invoice and the site didn't seem to exist. Therefore, I had no way to reach them to cancel. I never received a December delivery so I thought I was safe. Today I received a double delivery, they're still not online and I have no phone number. I'll have to deal with it through my bank and see just how many charges have showed up on my account.

I ordered the risk free trial and received it. I did not try it but found out later through an $85.90 charge to my credit card that I had signed up to receive more shipments. I tried to call the number and could not reach anyone after 1/2 hour of being on hold. I found their website and started the process of canceling and trying to get information on how to send the product back and get a refund. After days of trying to reach someone by phone and continued e-mails I finally got through to someone to talk to. They gave me a RPA (return merchandise authorization) number and said they would credit my credit card but it would take three weeks. I said fine. I sent the two bottles back that I received plus the "risk free trial". I have a delivery confirmation that they received the products back on February 9, 2009. After waiting three plus weeks to be credited and no success I e-mailed them and called them. After reaching someone by phone I was told they were backed up and I would get a refund. After waiting another week, I finally took further steps and contacted the Better Business Bureau. I just heard from them and FX is only willing to reimburse me $59.96. There own website states:

Renewable Program Membership Refund Policy: If you are not fully satisfied with your enrollment in the Acai Berry Maxx Auto Deivery Program you have two methods of receiving a refund. 1) You may cancel your enrollment in the Renewal Program and return the most recently shipped unit of Acai Berry Maxx to us for a full refund of $79.95. Shipping & handling is non-refundable. Please call customer care at [protected] or email us at cancel@acaiberrymaxx.com to cancel future shipments and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

The BBB contacted me with FX's response and refund offer of $59.96. I said no, that is not satisfactory. So I recommend for all of you to contact the BBB. You would have to file with the one where your product came from.

Acai Berry I cancelled and I got charged $87.13

I had tried this product and it gave me a bad reaction to the acai berry detox. I called about 7 times in the past week and finally on Sunday the 25, 2009 I spoke with a so-called-supervisor and she told me that I would recieve a refund and be notified by E-mail as to when the transaction would take place. I am pissed off that this company is treating Americans this way when everyone is having a hrd time through this recession. These people should be arrested for fraud. If I do not get an E-mail or a phone call within 5 days from this E-mail, I am notifying the consumer protection of the United States of America.

I'M GOING THROUGH THE SAMETHING I SENT A BOTTLE BACK THAT I NEVER ORDERED & THEY TOLD ME I WOULD GET MY MONEY BACK 30 DAYS AFTER THEY RECEIVE THE PILLS BACK THAT HAS BEEN 5 MONTHS AGO. THEY SHOW RECEIVING THE PRODUCT, WAY BACK IN NOV.2009 STILL NO CHECK.

SO FAR EVERY TIME I CALL THEM THE BOOKKEEPER HASN'T MADE OUT THE CHECK YET. AND THEN TODAY THEY WANT ME TO SEND ALL THE PROOF AGAIN THAT I SHIPPED THE PRODUCT BACK BECAUSE NOTHING SHOWS ON MY ACCOUNT THAT I EVER SENT IT BACK.

AND THEY WERE CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD BEFORE I EVEN RECEIVED THE PRODUCT.

AND I'M ALSO GOING THROUGH THE SAMETHING WITH COLNEX THEY CHARGED ME FOR 2 BOTTLES AT 98.00 DOLLARS A BOTTLE AND I HAD ONLY RECEIVED THE TRAIL BOTTLE AND CAN'T FET MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM EITHER.

WE ALL SHOULD CONTACT THE BBB AND FILE AGAINST THEM THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF LEFT & RIGHT AND I KNOW I'VE HAD IT WITH THEM.

I too was a victim of this company Acai Berry detox in hollywood florida. We were charged 2 80-something dollar fees, when we cancelled the product. After making the purchase, i made sure to read where it says how many days you have to cancel, which was 30 days. I made sure to call in as soon as i received the product, where they assured me that they had canceled it.
Just last night i checked my credit card statement, and found out that i had been charged 2, 80-something dollar fees. I called this morning to ask what had happened and they told me i had to call within 17 days of ordering the product (not receiving) to cancel. I NEVER saw a stement like that when i ordered the product. I was on the phone for more than a half hour, with no luck of receiving a refund. I called my credit card and they are filing a dispute to see if fraud has been commited. I suggest everyone that this has happened to to file a dispute. That is really the only way we will ever get our money back

I am a single mother who has always worked very hard to take care financially for my child alone. So when i saved up enough money to purchase this computer for us this year, I did not have any intentions of throwing my money away every month for a product I did not ask to continue receiving . Now I do not know what to do to stop them from continuing to send and way overcharge for a product I keep sending back. Please someone let me know if you find a solution to this madness!

I am having same problems as other folks. They shipped me my free bottle for .99 charged to my credit card. Before it arrived, or rather before it was shipped, they called and tried to sell me the partner med that would have to be taken with the acai caps. I told them I heard a blip, they said we were being recorded, told them good. Now hear this on your recording, I DO NOT WANT ANY OTHER PRODUCT SHIPPED TO ME, DO NOT WANT TO SEE BUT A ONE TIME .99 CHARGE, AND DO NOT EVER CONTACT ME AGAIN! You guessed it, I just got back from out of town to see another shipment on my porch...called them and I had been charged $88 and was told I had an open account! Since when? Was told that the people I talked to prior had no authorization to cancel my "subscription" and that I had to call them directly...How is it I have to make a separate call to cancel something I did not order and did not authorize and specifically told them not to do? Now I have to send back the product on my dime and when they receive it, THEN they will credit my account. In the meantime I may go overdrawn on my account and who's gonna pay for that? Let's see what happens or call my lawyer and the BBB, yep, that's what I'm a gonna do! I think this kind of thing needs stopped for good instead of silly krap in places that get you fined or ticketed because your yard isn't as "pretty" as the neighbors and the "neighborhood yard beautifiers" in your town can do that to you!

I would strongly AGREE that the Acai burn detox from: 3007 Greene St. Hollywood FL 33020 is a HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE rip off. I have been through the same things as everyone else above has. The long phone calls, limited information on my account, NO REFUND, product arriving late, and getting charged $87.13 with out time to send it back. I couldn't even speak to a supervisor all the times I called. Then when I finally spoke with 2 customer service people the said since I didn't have my RMA # they could not look it up and there may be a chance that my product would get cancelled by shipping Dept. because it was wrote incorrectly and I would not get my refund. I am in the process of checking my local post office and the UPS services to track it down. Then I will show them that I did ship it back to them the way the told me with the proper numbers on it and they better pay me my damn money. Otherwise I will do like the lady above and seek legal action and file a Merchant Violation Complaint with my states Attorney Gen. office. Beleive me I will call them everyday if I have to. Acai Berry stealing peoples money

I order a free trial of Acaiberry Maxx and paid $5.95 for shipping and handling. Then I received 2 more bottles with the notice that I signed up for a renewal every month for the amount of $79.96 plus $5.95 for ( of course) shipping and handling and my credit card will be charged. They can cancel my membership at any time by going to cancellation department at [protected]@acaiberrymaxx.com. That is a phoney address. It takes you to google and not their cancellation department. How are we going to stop them from stealing mine and everybody else money. If they charge my credit card I could get and over the limit fee or any other kind of fee. Please help me and a lot of other people who this company is stealing our money. Here is my e-mail [protected]@aol.com.

I am sending a letter of cease and desist and have just filed a consumer complaint to the Attorney General of Texas, Greg Abbott. Dont order form AcaiBerry Maxx. It is a scam

Acai Berry Honesty

BAIT and TRAP SCAM. Pay $5.95 for shipping of "wonder diet drug" and have 15 days to cancel from date of mailing. In two weeks your credit card is charged almost $95 for the next automatic shipment. Cancelling is impossible because all toll free phone numbers are never answered day or night; the LiveChat on their web page is only an automated reply system with links that never work. Notify your credit card company that bogus charges are going to be applied to your account that you did not authorize and hopefully they will help you. Can't believe I was stupid enough to fall for this, but it was posted on a trusted site. Don't be taken for a ride and tell everyone you know.

Here's a "roundabout" way to avoid such scams--

Acai is an excessively abundant provincial berry. It sells for $1 a bottle of freshly squeezed juice at any major Amazon city. 400, 000 lbs of acai berry are sold every day in every major Amazon city. The species (euterpe oleracea) grows in the wild and on plantations by the billions. It is a weed species - the very same one used for hearts-of-palm (you know, the cheap $2.00 cans), a product which kills the fruiting trunk.

You Americans are paying out the ### for this product, marketed by greedy advertising charlatans. They pay next to nothing to acqire their acai product (most of thir cost is -packaging-), and they artificially inflate it's value, by spinning all this washy BS about it being a "superfood" and having superior "health virtue." These unscrupulous US companies (not the native growers/harvesters) are making a killing because they make 500-1000% profit in many cases. It's abhorrent.

They are playing the ignorant public like a fiddle, and giving "health food" a bad name. You all would do better to be skeptical of anything making such claims. Make every effort to understand where things come from, and what it is. That way at least you'll have some persepctive.

Hey everyone,
This happened to me to... The product was great but they kept charging me 90 bucks it was horrible. I was reading an article online that actually found a company who sells the acai product but doesnt keep charging you like these other SHADY companies. They are actually great to deal with and actually CARE about their customers. I am going around posting this so everyone will STOP ordering from a SCAMMY COMPANY and hopefully check out a good one.
Here is the article I found the GOOD company on: http://www.channel5healthnews.com

I tried calling all the numbers on the transactions taken out of my bank account, and I too have had no luck in reaching them by phone. I had even changed my debit card and was given a new one by my bank, and they were able to get into the account and take the 69.98 out of my account. I am waiting to hear from my bank as to why they let them get money from me again. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income and do not want any more. How can we stop this scam?

He also said no return policy should have read terms iI did never read that. I canceled within 3 days of recieving trial now tellen me I never canceled then.I canceled 3weeks ago then got another order today and billed for 2 more bottles. I too fell into the same deal. I got their phone number from this web page. I got intouch with this company, Natures-Acai Berry. They agreed to cancel my so called 'membership' but would not refund my money charged to my credit card. I told them that I would report them to the Better Business Bureau. They told to go ahead and good luck. I wish I knew where I could report this company's web page . There must be something on the internet.

I also fell for the trick about ordering the sample and then got an extra charge to my credit card of 69.95. When I call866-376-1465. they gave me the run around for about an hour. After talking to some guy that i could bearly understand he told me I needed to call back in about an hour to speak to a supervisor. I called back in about an hour and ten minutes and was told that all the supervisors and managers were in a meeting and could not come to the phone rigth now and that the could not issue a refund and to take it to my credit card company. Because of companies like this is very hard to trust any other inernet company I hope the this gets resolve and i learn my lesson no more online for me.

I too was duped. charged 69.95 on my credit card. called the number [protected]. They answered the phone right awayand talked to someone whose name i could not pronounce, but then i had to be put on hold so he could get his manager. About 12 minutes of listening to some fruity music, the manager, whose name i also could not pronounce, informed me that he could not give me a refund but would cancel any further orders. I expressed to him that I was only interested in the sample and did not authorize any future orders. He advised me that i agreed to the terms and conditions which states that additional product will be sent and that since i agreed to the consent he would not authorize a return. After a length argument they deny any wrong doing. Hopefully this is the end.

Acai Berry Advertisments vs Terms & Conditions

When I read about Acai Berry I thought I was going to get a product to try for the full trial period to see if it worked before I decided to keep using it or to cancel. So far I haven't seen results. 14 days from the day I purchased Natural Acai Berry the company charged my account $69.95. I was blown away that they were able to do that. I though I was going to have 14 days to try the product from the day I recieved it. I was wrong. The trial period is 14 days. They give u 10 days to try & cancel becasue it takes roughly 4 days to deliver so by the thime u decide to do anything they've already charged u for a month trial. The #[protected] printed on the bottle says it's invalid when u call. However I wrote down my conformation information & there was another #[protected]. I called it & was able to cancel my order but because I cancelled after they took out the first months trial payment I was told there was nothing I could do to prevent or reverse the charges due to it being stated as part of their Terms & conditions. I am out-raged because I found in the terms & conditions that the company selling Natural Acai Berry can still take out future payments legally unless u cancel/stop payment on your credit/debit card. The money was taken from Super Acai Sup from what the bank told me. I hope this information is helpful to anyone who was decieved by this site.

Is this the same company as 'Life Cleanse"? I thought I was just ordering the trial offer. Imagine my suprise when I got another bottle in the mail today. I checked my credit card statement to find that they have charged me $128.46, not once, but twice. One for Acai and the other for colon cleanse. I phoned their customer service and they basically told me I'm out of luck as to getting my money back. I received an email stating that I have been removed from their customer list. Of course there was no reference to getting my money back. Also, of course, it is a no reply email. How can these people still be in buisness? What a rip off!

I was also a victim of this Acai Berry. I never received the product and was charged a fee of $89.+ for the Acai and the Life Cleanse from my account. When I called the 866 toll free number, it was hard for me to get through the first few times. I finally reached a woman by the name of Tara. She said that I was not going to be able to get my money back. It has been almost 3 months now since I have filed a dispute with my bank about this. I really would like to know how these people can keep getting away with this. I have no money, no merchandise, and very little patience left. I really want consumers to continue to post comments, so someone out there where will be spared the problems that I have went through with these people.

You have a better chance of getting your money back if it is a Company. Most of them are Scam Artist using a bogus address.

These were posted on this website:

you guys should call [protected], they're the complany that handles all the charges for this Acai Burner and the Colon Ceanser stuff. You'll fget through right away, and they can pull your account infor up with your e-mail address. then just indicate that you'll like to cancel or subscription or get your money back.

MissFixItAll

I'm ashamed to say, I actually work for this company. I don't push magazine sales, but I do sell rebate vouchers. We have to read word for word from a script. I actually thought something was a bit fishy at this place when, in the first line of my script I say that I'm calling from an order verification department & that I'm call on behalf of "Aton Solutions" - but the business I work for & the name that's on the top corner of my paycheck is Reader's Choice. I also mention that "we're" the makers of Acai Berry, Colon xR, Total Cleanse and White Tea with Acai. However, these calls are monitor recorded so you can try using that to your advantage. I actually just called the 800 # given to customers in order to cancel and it was a recording saying that the number I was trying to reach is no longer in service and was given another number to call: [protected], curious, I dialed the number & it was a recording of some super enthusiastic lady saying that I just called the Reward Center and if I pressed 2 on my telephone keypad then I would be redirected to a customer service representative. I was on hold for 6 minutes too long.. I got impatient and hung up. I will try my best to help you with what I can. ... If you still can't get through to anyone, I suggest you write and xerox a copy of a formal letter of cancellation and keep all your phone records of unanswered calls handy. You could also file a written complaint form at /link removed/ they are building a case against this fraudulent business as I write.

Acai Berry Bogus Charges to my account

I stupidly ordered the Acai Berry Detox online which said a 30 day trial but in the fine print you need to cancel within 15 days or you will be charged an unbealievable charge around $87. I received it, immediately cancelled it, received a confirmation number. I just checked my bank statement and found 2 charges from LuxSlimTea, one for 12.82 and another for 18.82 a month later! I have never ordered this product and never rec'd it either. I got a website online, called, they said there was another number for that, called that & they wanted to know if I wanted to cancel my subscription. Told them I never had a subscription & they cancelled it and said they would submit it for refund on my insistance. I will check in 7-10 days to see if the charges were credited. Why the 2 different charges I don't know. Don't order any of these products ever!

Acai Berry Unauthorized charges

This Company is a Rip Off! They are suppose to be letting you try this product for 15 days free only pay shipping and handling 5.95. They take out 6.00 instead of the 5.95. Then they tell you that you have 15 days from the date that your oder was shipped in which you may not get until another 5 days. All this was not fine print at the bottom, this is hidden in terms and conditions. When I received the product it was not the correct product in what I ordered. I ordered the Supreme, they sent the colon cleanse. When I reviewed my statement I had seen that they had taken 88.62 out of my account. When I called to get my money back they said it is nothing they could do. They have to follow what is in the terms and condition. I told them I did not like the product even with the colon cleanse it doesn't even work. I did not order this product, I do not like the product, and I don't want it. I want my money back in my account point blank.

I ordered a 15 day trial supply for the cost of Shipping and Handling and I tried to cancel before the trial period ended and no one answers the phone. It just clicks off. Now I have been charged $94.57 which I did not authorize and I can't reach anyone to cancel these charges. The Web site says "Refund and Exchange Policy

The company block my phone number and do not answer my phone. They continue to take funds off my credit card and the bank told me they can't cancel them from taking fund out of my account.

TAKE ACTION NOW - SAVE YOURSELF - THIS IS A HUGE SCAM!

If you order this stuff you CAN'T CANCEL your order. They offer you a FREE TRIAL (You pay $5.95 shipping) but when you try to cancel future orders (at $80 each) you are unable to reach anyone. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS the company phone number - after a recorded response you will be put on hold then after a long wait, be disconnected. Email contact attempts just receive automated replies to sell you more products.

The company refund policy reads: NO REFUNDS WITHOUT RMA (return merchandise authorization) this wouldn't be a big deal BUT...you can't get an RMA because there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT! You can't send back future shipments as the company refuses all 'Return to Sender' packages and will charge you anyway.

TAKE ACTION NOW - If you already ordered this stuff at least CONTACT YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR BANK and DISPUTE THE CHARGES. You may eventually need to get your credit card company to issue you a new number. If you paid with a DEBIT CARD you better consider changing account number or Acai Berry Supreme will KEEP CHARGING YOU $80 each time they send another unwanted shipment.

Around 11/4/08 my husband order a "free trial" of of this acai berry supreme.
on 11/24/08 I called and cancelled any membership or orders. On 11/28/08
we were charged $91.28. Since I didnot authorize this and DID NOT know I
was being charged my bank account was over-drawn. I have been trying to
contact these people for a credit so the bank will refund my over-draft charges. If you can give us any assistance we would be greatly appreciative.

My name is Bruce and my wife is Linda. My wife ordered these pills on line for health reasons and all this ordeal has been is a financial rip off. We tried to cancel the membership and the phone number is bogus. Nobody answer the phone after several attempts to call the company. We even sent back the products and all still getting charges. We decided to cancel our credit card today due to ongoing charges by this company despite their statements that they canceled our account.

We have filed a complaint with the better business bureau as well as with our Chase Credit Card Company. This company is a bunch of crooks scamming people with phony initial first good deals similar to a drug pusher offering an addictive drug to get somebody addicted to drugs.

I've had the same experience, as others, with this company. Unfortunately, I ordered the product right before the holidays, so it took a long time to get to me. I actually received the product 4 days before the 15 day trial period was over. I didn't even have the opportunity to open the bottle when I noticed the charge. I did use my debit card for this purchase, so I "hot carded" the number to prevent any further charges from this company. I was able to call [protected] and spoke with a rep that didn't speak English very well...she just kept telling me the policy until I asked to speak to her supervisor, 3 times, then she hung up on me. I hit redial and spoke with another rep who only told me their policy, twice, then gave me an RMA # for my return. I received a confirmation email the day I cnacelled. However, after reading these complaints, I am filing a fraud dispute with my bank in hopes of receiving a refund. The most embarrassing thing about this is...I work for the bank! :(

I ordered a 'FREE' trial of the Acaiberry Supreme and paid my shipping of $5.95. I was ok with that. Later I am charged $88.62 and a foreign transaction fee of $2.65 for something.

I call and write the company many times. Usually the phone lines are jammed and you get a runaround answer. Finally I got my trial offer canceled and a verbal agreement that I would be refunded the $88.62. Next is a written message that I did not cancel within the 15 day period so no refund is coming. None of the advertising says anything about a 15 day trial nor that you will be charged $88.62 for what I don't know..

I have had to close my bank account just to stop these folks from ripping me off. I fnow feel that doing any buying on the Internet is just too risky.

Pretty much the same story...I ordered the Acai Berry Supreme, tried it out and it did nothing. I returned the empty bottle and did not get a refund as promised. I was then notified in an email that I was being shipped another bottle...I called the number on my invoice no fewer than 15 times. I FINALLY got through after numerous tries. I spoke to a woman who told me (after I insisted that this was a complete scam) that it was not. She said she would refund my money and that they would never send another bottle. I just received my 3rd bottle and was never refunded the money...and now, after several attempts at calling them back, the phone number does not work.

Acai Berry unaunauthorized charges on my credit card

This was an order on the internet advertised the product was free. as long as shipping of 3.95 was paid. My credit card was charged 3.95 on 12/16/08. this is the date it was ordered. The product arrived on Jan. 1 2009, along with my credit card statement, with an added charge of 87.13. I called my credit card co and reported this. They said they would take care of this unauthorized charge. They have since debited my credit card for another charge of 87.13. The original product has been sent back to the company. Please do not debit my act and do not send any more products. I have tried to contact you, without success .

AcaiBerry Dtox LP $.99 "trial" offer. I received the order and due to health reasons and Christmas I didn't open the box nor read the fine print about being billed after 14 day trial period. Imagine my surprise when I received another box in the mail! I was able to get thru Customer Service and was told it was too late to get a refund for the first order but they would give me an RMA number to send back the second order. I hadn't received my Visa bill so I didn't know that I was charged $79.62 for my "trial" order. I did receive an email stating they were going to credit my Visa for $79.62 for the second order. When I called Customer Service to complain about the charges on my Visa bill, I was told that the website states that after 14 days you get charged for $79.62 and $3.95 shipping for each order. They would only credit me $79.62 and refused to take back the second order and now I'm stuck paying $79.62 + $3.95 shipping for my "trial" order that I thought I was paying $.99.

Stay away from this company or you will learn the hard way by paying way too much for a "trial" offer. When I threaten to stop payment on my Visa I was told they have it posted on the website so I would lose and owe the money.

Signed up for a free trial with shipping of $0.99 ! Tried the product for about a week and it didn't even work so I stopped using it. A month and a half later, my card was charged $79.95. That day, I called the company to find out what had happened and they said they were charging me for the bottle I thought was a free trial. I cancelled it on the spot and asked like five times "Will I be charged again?" and the rep said "No" each time I asked. Three days later, I was charged $3.95 which gave me an overdraft fee in my bank account! This company is a BIG SCAMMM! I wish there was a way to put them out of business!

This was a supposedly free trial offer, if one paid the shipping cost of $3.95. After I received and tried it, I informed the company that I was dissatisfied and that I would cancel my order. Now, a month later, they are charging my credit card for additional shipments at $79.95. When I tried to use their toll-free number, I spent over an hour on hold, then was given the automated message that the number was not available. When I tried to use their website - www.myordersupport.com - the sign-in wouldn't work and the Live Chat failed to deliver. This is definitely a scam!

I should have read the reviews on this product before ordering as I would not have ordered. They make it sound like the trial bottle is only $0.99, however after the 17 day trial period, they charge your credit card the full $79.95 which is to cover the cost of the trial bottle. I'm unable to take the product due to the way it makes me feel when I take it and there's no way to get a refund...so as the saying goes...if it's too good to be true then it probably is.

On the evening of June 25, 2009, I ordered the AcaiBerry Detox trial (60 Capsules) for $0.99. On my printable receipt, it stated "your order is scheduled to arrive on June 29, 2009". On June 26th, I received a phone call from a telemarket person located in Phoenix, AZ [protected]) about my order and try to get me to add the cleanser to my order. I decline the add on. However, the man did informed me that I had 14 days to cancel from the day I receive my package. The package arrived at my home on July 2nd. Therefore, I thought I had 14 days from then to cancel. I try the pills and noticed no change. I called on July 14th at 2:25pm CST and cancelled my order through their automatic system. I thought all was good until...

Today, July 29th, I receive my credit card statement and noticed I had been charged $87.13 on July 10th (which is 14 days from my order dated). I called the number on my statement, waited about 20 minutes until someone answered, and chatted with an associate and a supervisor about my situation. The guy stated I cancelled after the trail period, so that is the reason I had been charged the $87.13 for the trail bottle. I stated to him this is incorrect, and they need to get their line of communication straighten out. Plus, I stated to him that my printable receipt did not have the cancellation instructions on them and that is bad for business.

The man stated I needed to return the bottle of the unused portion. Once they receive my package, I should receive my refund within 5 business days. Therefore, I sent the unused portion of AcaiBerry Detox back today but certified. This way I know they received my package, and I can track about when I should get my refund. I should receive my refund of $87.13 by August 7th. I trust they will do the right thing. If they do not, I will report them to the Better Business Bureau over this matter, because taking unauthorizated moneys is against the law!

So I basically came across this blog " http://catherines-weightloss.com/mydiet.html" and thought it was legit b/c it was featured on Oprah. I ordered the free trial for "Acai Berry Detox" and "Colon Cleanser"...unaware that it was a scam!

Ordered on 7/20/09: Couple of days later, I keep getting calls from [protected] (they wanted to confirm the order for shipment). I said yes to Colon cleanser to ship the free trial. Once again, i receive the call from same number. I did some research and seeing everyone feedback here worried me to the pit. I checked my credit card account and luckily i only have two charges of ".99" (B-Labs Cream and Rainforestberry). Since I couldn't get through the customer service line or livechat, I just cancelled my credit card (on 7/27/09) to be SAFE. Also, if you called [protected], theres an option to cancel subscription..which i did.

8/6/09: I received the Acai Berry Detox in my mailbox and day after i received the Colon Cleanse. I just hope they don't start anything up. I did what i can on my end to cancel the subscription and cancel my credit card. Troubles gone? NOT EVEN. When i received my CC statement (received on 8/10/09), I saw an additional charge of $39.95 on 7/24/09. How can this be?! When I logged online to my CC...I didn't see that charge on 7/27/09...so i thought i was lucky...NO I wasn't.

8/10/09 I called Citibank...explained that i want to dispute the charge. He tried to transfered me to the dispute dept but was busy and that someone will call be back within 48hours regarding the issue. 8/11/09: I received a call from Citibank. She explained that she cannot reverse the charge b/c I kept the product. I told her when i talked to the the person who confirmed my order that I have 14 days to cancel the subscription and you don't have to return the product since is a free trail. FALSE! I even explained that I tried to call [protected] several times but cannot get through to live customer service rep and the live chat or ordersupport doesn't work. I even called that same number and did the automated cancel subscription (I did this 7/28/09). Also, I told her that I didn't receive the trail until 14 days after. She told me that there are many cases and sorry that Citibank cannot reverse charges. And to top it off, I received a Foreign Transaction Charge from the same company for $1.23! I told the Citibank Rep, to please do not allow this company to charge my new CC account. They should not be able to b/c they don't have my new CC#...so frustrated and stressed out b/c of this.

8/22/09: I received another Acai Berry Detox (bottle #2). This time i will not open the bottle. I am going to wait for my next CC bank statement to see If i receive another charge. If needed, I will ship back product and make sure they received it. If I have any updates, will let you guys know...sigh.

Please people save yourself some headache and read the fine print and if the offer is too good to be true, then it's a SCAM! I wrote this detail report in hopes of people do not make the same stupid mistake I did.

Goodluck to everyone! Never again for free trails. I am going to do some hard research and buy products from trustworthy sites or stores.

I ordred a free trial of Acaiberry LP on May 10, 2009 and I did not recieve my product in time. I have 10 days left to try the product before the trial period ran out. I called back ant spoke with Carl who had extended my trial until June 6, 2009. I called to cancel my order on June 4, 2009 and was charged $87. 13 on June 4, 2009. I can't believe that the company would do this. I am now unable to go to the grocery store as I have three children to take care of because they made my account overdrawn. How do I get a refund? Every last penny! I will never tell anyone about how great this product is because it did nothing for me. All these people want is to take your money and keep taking until your tapped out. I ordered a free sample (30 days) of AcaiBerry Detox lP but never received it. My checking account was charged shipping costs and about 15 days later the cost for one month's supply (around $89 dollars) plus some additional shipping costs. To date I only have the charges -- I've canceled any future order with the hope that I will receive the product I ordered and didn't order with no further charges. We'll see.

Acai Berry Scam

I ordered the Free acai berry 30 day supply with the understanding you pay only the $3.97 shipping. Now So Far 10 days ago my card was immediately charged. The shipping says 7 to 14 days And You only have 14 or 21 days to try product to cancel. Well Of course I have yet to receive it so thats a scam right there by the time you get it and try it you have passed the free trial period. However I already cancelled it and have received an email confirming Im removed from the auto ship program. Ive yet to receive the pills or try them...But that is just misleading no way should it take 2 weeks to receive something when you can order items on line and receive them in a few days with standard shipping from anyplace in the USA! This is truly buyer beware!

Good news for all who have been scammed. The Colorado Attorney general has forced GNS and its owner, Joshua D. Bezoni, to refund money stolen from some consumers. While this likely leaves Joshua D. Bezoni a multimillionaire from his thefts, it offers some help to some consumers.

For the people who are trying to call, I got lucky somehow and got through on their "Customer Service number" but it does not good. You are just going to have to cancel your cards and have your banks refund your money and file a complaint through the bank if you have that protection. If not, file the complaint through the BBB or Attorney General. I was so lucky to have seen the News report.

This company is a total scam. I just finished a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding my "free" order of Acai Berry from them. They charged me the shipping before I got the product. Two days after I ordered it, I saw a scam report on my local news about this very thing so I called and cancelled the order. Thankfully, the News report said to cancel the credit card as well because the company would continue to debit the account for large sums of money without sending a product. Of course I got a cancellation number and all the "legit" info, but then a few days later, I received an email from the company telling me to fix my account because they couldn't debit my card. Of course I responded that I had cancelled my order, yada yada, yada. Thus ensued several back and forth emails with threats to take me to collections, etc. I finally did recieve an email saying they had disabled my account and I would get no further shipments or emails from them. I lodged the complaint with the BBB and they STILL were threatening and lying, until I sent the BBB the their last email stating they were disabling my account and wouldn't be sending me anything else. The News report here had stated that the Phoenix Attorney General's Office was involved in a complaint against one company, but I don't know if it's the same one. BUYERS BEWARE! DON'T ORDER OR PAY FOR ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

This company should be put out of business. They hide behind their "fine print" and could care less about a dissatisfied customer. If GNS was in business to do repeat business, they would take care of the customer. But if they get a few suckers a day that they can discard, that's money in their pocket. And there's always another sucker waiting in line. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GNS (GLOBAL-NUTRITION)!

I was also scammed by GNS. Same deal. You get two bottles of a free trial offer for just the price of shipping.

Recieved the two bottles with a debit for the shipping. Shortly after, I was charged $79.90 for two more bottles that were to be Shipped on FEB 20th. I never ordered additional bottles. I e-mailed them and told them to credit the money back to my account and not to send the 2 bottles that I never ordered. No response from them. I also tried 3 times to call them and cancell. Each time I called a recording said to hold on the line. The interesting thing is that each time the recording stated that there were 30 people ahead of me. Sounds like a recording with no one there to pick up. THEN>>> On February 20th, my account was debited again. This time for $69.98. I was ready to freak out! Now we are talking $150.00 of unauthorized debits from my account. I contacted my banker and they are blocked from my account and I had to close my account and open a new one.

I ALSO HAVE NEVER BEEN A VICTIM OF A SCAM. THIS IS REALLY SCAREY!

I almost ordered some thing similar but thought to do some scam searches on it first. True enough...it was just another ploy to make easy money fast by some corrupt company.

Acai Berry 800# Fraud on Terms & Conditions

I purchased the trail 10-day supply of Natural Acai Berry. On the terms of conditions they give an 800# [protected]) to call to cancel membership within 14 days of placing order. However, when I call the 800# I get a constant busy signal for hours. When I finally get through, I receive a recording, stating "United Carrier Networks and Buyers United" and the call is disconnected. There is no link on their website to cancel your membership so you won't be charged and shipped any future pills. This is a scam so you can not locate them to cancel so your credit card/debit card will constantly be charged for merchandise you no longer wish to purchase. And when you can reach them it's beyond the 14-day clause listed in terms and conditions and you are stuck.

I will never recommend or order from Natural-Acai-Berry again. My only recourse is to dispute the charge and/or close my account; therefore, they will not have a valid account in which to charge future merchandise to without my permission.

TRIAL product was sent with absolutely no paperwork. I was not informed that I would have to call and cancel my order because there was no communication from the seller at all. The return address also did not state the website, nor did the bottle. There were no emails that followed the trial offer entry. Then I received a packet with additional pills in it. Again there was no information on it on how to contact anyone. I had to file a dispute just to find out who was charging me. I found out the company and it turns out they do not have a return policy and I am still getting charged.

Our package arrived to us Saturday, January 17 without any supplemental information. We immediately knew this was a bogous product. After going online to read more about this product, we tried contacting the company immediately after we realized an addtl $69.95 will be billed to our credit card after 10 days - but the phone number is no longer in service. Can someone please post the number they were successful in using to contact the company? We are very concerned about our credit card number being compromised.

I RECEIVED MY FREE SAMPLE BUT BEFORE I COULD TRY IT I RECEIVED ANOTHER BOTTLE IN THE MAIL CHARGING MY VISA $70.00. I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY PAPERWORK WITH EITHER BOTTLE ADVISING ME ANY THAT I NEEDED TO CANCEL BY CALLING. I CALLED TO COMPLAIN AND WAS TOLD WHEN I REQUESTED THE FREE SAMPLE I WAS TOLD HOW TO CANCEL. LIKE MANY PEOPLE I DID NOT REMEMBER HOW AND THAT WAS WHAT THE COMPANY WANTED TO HAPPEN. ANY RESPONSIBLE COMPANY WOULD HAVE ALSO SENT THAT INFO WITH THE SHIPMENT GIVING THE PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. I HAVE NOW CANCELLED BUT IT COST ME $70.00 . THIS IS A SNEAKY BUSINESS COUNTING ON YOU TO FORGET AND THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU BEFORE CHARGING YOU FOR MORE.

If you continue to leave that credit card open, don't be surprised if you see future charges.. trust me, you will get them without your consent.

Don't just cancel but you are safer if you can change your account if you did it thru your bank. Let your Credit Card Company be aware of the scam.

What will happen is they will sell your Credit Card Number to other telemarketers and they will run that Credit Card dry. Then you will wonder where the other charges came from.

Make sure you file charges. You can do that with the Federal Trade Commission office online. They have a form online you can submit and also ic3.gov. They also have a form online. They work with the FBI. Their form is similiar to the FBI form. You can also file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office in whatever State you got the bogus product.

Hi! I am fed up with this company as well. My story is that I realized it was a "Club" right after I finished submitting my "trial" order for $4.95. I cancelled on December 10, 2008, before the 10 day deadline (which was also before I ever received the trial bottle).

At the end of January, or first week of February, I received a full bottle of Acai. I got online and checked my credit card statement, and sure enough, a charge of $69.95 was on my account. I called back immediately ~ (and yes, the 800 number on the bottle had been disconnected... I got a new # to call from their website) ~ I gave them my cancellation # from the first time that I called, which they had no record of (of course). They said that they would cancel it that day, but that I could keep the bottle that I had just received.

I said, NO WAY!, I do not want this bottle, I want my $69.95 back! He put me on hold, then came back with an RMA # for me to send the bottle back. I sent it back insured & with a return receipt so they can't say I never returned it. I have been credited for the $69.95, but I just received my credit card bill, and there was a previous $69.95 charge for a bottle that I never got... unless they are charging $69.95 for the original "trial" bottle. I guess I'll have to call them again and get them to credit that one... Or I may just go through my credit card company and dispute the charge.

I don't really want to deal with these people anymore! Hopefully I will not be charged again, or receive another bottle, but only time will tell... Good luck and God Bless!

The number on the bottle is disconnected. I found the number on my
credit card bill and talk to a real person. I told them to discontinue any shipment and they gave me a cancellation number, we will see if it happens. The number to call is [protected] hope this helps!

CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD AND REPORT IT AS FRAUD> This company tried to do the same thing to me and usually they can give you your money back. And changing your number will make sure that they can't make another false charge.

Acai Berry Continual charges to my bank account for a one-off item of acai berry detox pills

I visited a website which offered a FREE trial of a bottle of 60 acai berry tablets, which involved one payment of $3.99 shipping. I looked over the website thoroughly to be sure there was no hidden extra's before I made the transaction!
I noticed on my bank statement that $3.99 had been transacted, and one week later my acai berry tablets finally arrived.

After 2 weeks, a charge was made to my bank account of $90.86.
I was alarmed, as I was promised by the website that there was no hidden charge. I could not find any small print anywhere on the site, to indicate this was going to happen.

After finally getting my account back in the black, another $90.86 has been taken out again, which has now left me right in the red again!

I made a call to FWM laboratories today & was told by the agent on the end of the phone that they will make another charge in 2 weeks time, as I am a registered member!

A registered member of what? I only purchased what I thought was a free trial bottle of diet pills! Further to that, I have not seen any more diet pills show up in the mail!
The agent on the other end of the phone (clearly not American, as I had difficulty understanding him) told me I had to cancel my membership, & to do this it will cost me a further $40.00!
I told him to cancel it, and if he takes any more out of my account, I will be seeking help from my lawyer! (Which to be honest I ought to have done from the off...I am looking into that right now).
I cant afford to be a "member" of some "club" that doesnt exist! A gym membership is a lot less expensive!
I am looking into getting my money back!
All of it!

FWM Laboratories is a business... in taking your money under fraudulent pretenses! Your account will be billed before the 14 days. They bill your credit card or debit card under an alias. If you try to contact their phone number you get nobody, and if you actually get to leave a message they never return any calls. The best thing to do if it is a debit... file an affidavit of forgery with your bank and close your debit/credit card ASAP. I will be contacting the Attorney General in Illinois. I recommend that everyone else that has been taken by this company to do the same.

My wife was looking in our e-mail for her e-ticket conformation and this said confirm your e-ticket and get 2 free south West Airline tickets. She couldn't understand why she had to pick 2 different trials and clicked on the Acai Berry Detox one. I told her it was through price line so she canceled it but had already given our bank card information. We found out that they had not canceled it and took $4.95 out of our account we called the company and canceled and the next thing we know is $87.13 was taken out of our account. My wife did not recieve anything in the mail nor did she want to. We got an e-mail today that said they were going to return the $87.13 to our account so I called about the $4.95. I was told that was for shipping cost and I needed to read the terms and conditions, I told this person that I could hardly understand that nothing was shipped to us and we didn't want anything shipped to us because we canceled before it was sent on the computer but somehow you still got our account information and robbed us. I am going to look for an attorney to try and help us sue this company for frued and taking money with out atorization. We are on a very limited income and this has hurt us not only just the money but it caused bonced checks and we have never bounced one until this money was taken from us. Just don't give any banking information to any of these scams they look and sound laget but thier far from it. We tried to stop them and couldn't before any money was taken.

I ordered the free trial of Acai Berry Detox and received it about 8 days after the initial request. I thought I had 14 days to try the product, but that didn't prove to be true. I tried the product for 3 days and it upset my stomache so I discontinued use. Thinking I still had a few days to call and cancel I didn't worry about it right then. Yesterday I looked at my checking account, only to see that I had been charged $87.13. I contacted the company to try and get a refund but was given the run-around for 20 minutes. I was told they cannot and will not issue refund for the product. I called later and talked to another "supervisor" and got the same song and dance. I researched the BBB site and wish I would have looked there before doing business with FWM Labs. Their rating is an F. They have well over 900 unanswered complaints. I feel like an absolute fool for losing $90 to these ingrates. Hopefully the word will get out and they will lose their business eventually. What a racket!

Ordered a free 30 day supply of Acai Berry Detox only having to pay the $0.99 shipping and handling cost on July 10, 2009. Received the order on Friday, July 24, 2009. On July 27, 2009 they took an additional $86.42 from my account. When I called, they said that I had not cancelled my order within the 14 free trial period. When I told them that I had received the product within the 14 day free trial period, they said that the problem was with the US Postal Service and that I should contact them as they had shipped the product on July 13, 2009. The US Postal Service is being used for Mail Fraud!

I order the 14 trial on12/18/08 for the acai berry 500, and the acai cleanse, never received but was charged $3.95 twice, called on 12/28/08 and cancell order, still got charged $87.13 twice for 2 month supply which I never received. I called again and they said it was a mistake and that the money will be refunded in 7-10 days, today is 1/09/09 and I still haven't gotten the refund back, I went to ripoff.com and they have a lot of complaint just like mine on their website about this company. My bank advise me to close my credit card and make a police report for unauthorized charges.
Do not order any free trial, and if you do make sure that you cancell the card you order with as soon as the shipping is taken off. Also they never tell you this but trial starts the day you place the order, so you are trapped to try the product for a week to see results and that's when they will get you, because by then you would have gone over your trial period, don't fall for it, I didn't wait for the trial to over but they still got me, so just be aware of companies that are out to scam you, go to ripoff.com and do research first.

Website offered a free sample bottle of Acai Berry Detox tablets for $2.00 and $1.95 on March 26, 2009, the credit card company called us to verify we authorized the charges from FWM Laboratories that evening because there computer kicked them out as suspicious charges; I verified we did authorized the charges and they were posted on March 27, 2009. We got our next credit card statement there was another charge for $87.13 from the FWM Laboratories. We called the phone number for the charge on the credit card statement, the customer service person quickly told us that the “terms and conditions” said it was free for 14-day trial and we would be charged for $87.31 if we did not cancel the order within 14 days from when it was shipped to us.

I went to the website my wife ordered it from and found this “Contact l Privacy Policy l DMCA l Terms and Conditions” at the bottom of a very long web page in a small font, it is very obvious they had every intention of stealing the $87.31 by charging it to my credit card; this company is managed by criminals that should be in prison, the company appears to be in Hollywood Florida.

On 3/23/09 while I was out of town on vacation in Florida I saw an offer for a free 30 day trial of ACAI Berry Detox, plus shipping. I looked over the entire site and on the payment page for the trial offer it said I had a "RISK FREE 30-Day Money Back Guarantee" if I was not completely happy. I did not return home until 3/30/09 and did not receive the product until I returned home. I had pre-scheduled surgery on 4/9/09 and I was unable to start using the product to begin to evaluate it until 4/18/09. I noticed on my credit card bill that I used for payment of the shipping charges that I had been billed $87.13 on 4/7/09 for this product! This charge to my credit card account was made BEFORE I could have reasonably had any opportunity for my 14 day evaluation, and certainly before my 30 day RISK FREE period had expired! I called them on 4/20/09 and immediately canceled my account, and requested a credit back to my credit card for the $87.13 charged to the account on 4/7/09. The person I spoke with indicated that he would put in a request for a refund, but could not 'guarantee' I would receive one. I asked to speak with his supervisor, but he said the refunds were handled by the 'refund department' and I could call back and speak with them in about 3 days to check on the status of the refund. I advised him to make a notation to my account that I did not agree to this charge and I was demanding a full refund and, if that did not occur, I was disputing this charge with my credit card company. This place is a complete scam and I would urge others not to use their product. Their advertising regarding responsibility for future payments is misleading and is open to several interpretations. Obviously, they chose the 'interpretation' that was most advantageous to them!

Ordered free trial of product and was only to be charged for shipping and handling. I had not even had a chance to try the product and a charge of $87.13 was charged to my acct. I called the co.to complain and to cancel my account, They said I didn't cancel quick enough. I had only just received product within the past 2 weeks. . They said the trial is for 14 days from when I ordered the product, not when you actually receive it. I offered to return product unopened and unused as I had not used the product as of yet, and was told that the company doesn't refund like this. What?whoever heard of that? I spoke to a supervisor and got nowhere.
I emailed a lettet to co. with the email addresses I found on line. for complaints with this fwm labs, requesting a refund of my $87.13 and to fomally cancel my act. with them. seems this company has many complaints with the SE Florida BBB. I called my bank and they will dispute the charge with me and I am filinhg a complaint with the BBB. What a sam for a probably really good product. Also got free trial from advanced wellness pure Acai Berry. similar triaql offer. chargedmy acct. $78.81. I cancel the acct. and would be getting a $60 credit to my acct. watch these free trials. what a shame opera and rachel ray recommend the trials yet people are getting scammed everyday. maybe someone should let them know.

This company offers a free trial bottle of Acai Berry Detox. You will be charged with a $3.95 s/h charge, but unaware to myself and many others who have been scammed, FWM Laboratories charges $87.13. I was unaware that I was going to be charged $87.13 at a later date. If I've known that, I would've never ordered from this deceptive company. First off, I never received the trial bottle, which I placed an online order on January 10, 2009. January 27, 2009, I was checking my checking acct. balance online and noticed this $87.13 charge.

I've been calling this calling for the past 2 days to get an explanation of the $87.13 and request a refund to my account ASAP. They've been giving me the run-around. They keep insisting a email will be sent to me detailing more information about my refund. It hasn't happen yet. I've noticed that there has been many other complaints about this fradulent company, FWM Laboratories. I want to forwarn others and I want my $87.13.

I ordered the trial version of the Acaiberry diet aid for $3.95 in the middle of Dec. 08, they charged me the $3.95 immediately, they then proceeded to bill me $87.13 twice in January. The charges total $178.21 and I have yet to receive a product. I am in the process of trying to get my money back. I am having a heck of a time trying to get in touch with anyone. I never received a confirmation or phone number to call. I had to call my credit card company to get a contact number. I don't want the product at this point all I want is my money back and to stop getting charged for product I did not receive. Be ware of acai berry scams. Now that I am looking into it I am finding them all over the place.

Acai Berry Unauthorized charges after cancel product

I cancelled an order immediatley after reading the fine print on a trial size order of acai berry. I was charged in nov 2008 $5.95.
They are still sending me a product which is different then the trial size. I have had 4 charges regarding the acai berry. The phone numbers are all different but have the same recording. I have been hung up on and been disconnected. The people i talk to do not speak english well. This is a scam. They are also affilatted with price savers and pricelimbo.com which has also charged my credit card. Beware of ordering from these people. The credit card company said they are seeing this a lot. They gave me a phone number for acai berry and they say they don't carry the product. This is a huge scam.

Acai Berry Company is misleading customers into purchasing product

I went on to the Pure Acai Berry Pro website and ordered their 14 day trial. I tried to find the terms and conditions, but it was not on the page. There was a box checked that stated that you understand the terms and conditions, but there was no place to read them. When I recieved the confirmation email for my order, it stated that I would have to return the item within 14 days of purchase or I would be charged. What they don't tell you is that the 14 day trial includes processing time, shipping and transit time. By the time you get the product the 14 days is up and they will charge you for the full price of the product. I have included the emails from Advanced Wellness Research below to show the issue that I had with them. I asked to cancel the order within 1/2 hour of placing it and just today they told me they would cancel it. BEWARE!This is a scam. Go to your local GNC or walmart for that matter, you can buy the acai berry supplements and they do the same thing.

I did not have a question…I requested, on the same day that I ordered the product, that it not be sent to me at all. I don’t want to have to worry about getting it and then returning it. My problem is that you don’t give people any time to actually try the product. By the time I get it, the trial will be up and you will be charging me for the full price. I have now sent 3 emails, this is my third, all requesting that the order be CANCELLED! I am not asking if I can cancel, or how I send it back or anything regarding the charges. I am TELLING you that I don’t want it AT ALL. It would seem that your company is completely disregarding for my request to cancel the order, and I assume from your email below that the product is being shipped. I will be posting a blog on your company regarding this issue and warning other potential customers to beware of the “Free Trial” offer that does not actually give you time to “try” the product.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Advanced Wellness Research - Customer Service.

First let me thank you for your order and confidence in Pure Acai Berry. Now, let me reassure you that you were NOT charged anything other than the shipping and handling today. The charge you are inquiring about is not a charge but only an authorization. Depending on your bank, it remains on your card for anywhere from 15-30 days. If after using our product during the trial period, you decide to keep it, we will then convert that authorization into a charge. Right now it is only an authorization and is not a billed amount.
I hope this answers your question and we hope you enjoy your Pure Acai Berry.
Feel free to call us at our Customer Service toll free number [protected] for any further assistance.

I do not want it shipped at all. It is crazy to think that someone could try something for 14 days when included in that time is the time it takes to process and ship (including transit). By the time it gets to me the 14 days will be up. I contacted you the same day I ordered the product and I stated that I dont want it shipped at all. If you do ship it and attempt to charge my credit card, I will report it as fraud, as I requested (email below) that the product not be shipped nor charged to my credit card at all. I went to walmart and bought acai berry for less than 8.00, why would I want to pay your company (when I will not even have enough time to try the product) almost 80.00? Your advertising is misleading, as it says you will get 14 days to try the product, not 14 days less processing shipping and transit. My order was placed on the 12th, that means I am already 3 days into a trial period for a product I dont even have. As I stated above, DO NOT MAIL or CHARGE my credit card for this product. If I do recieve it in the mail, not only will I call the credit card company and put a fraud alert on it, but I will report your comany to the BBB, as well as to the Consumer Reporting Agency

I am having the same problem with this company. I only just received the product and before I could try it, my account has a pending charge of $78.81. Additionally, there are no listed terms and conditions for one to review when ordedring so the assumption is that you understand that you will be charged $4.99 for shipping for the 'free' trial product.

The representatives who I have spoken to advised me that no refunds will be given. However, I intend to take this to the Supreme Court if necessary and do intend to file a report with the Florida Regulatory boards regarding this company and their operating standards and practices.

Acai Berry unahtorised charges on credit card

kept charging aboyt $8 to my credit card. After I recived the original sample there was a small note enclosed saying they would send my acai berry every month and charge $80.00 a month for it unless I cancelled the account. I thought this was outrageous because I never signed up for this. I called and cancelled the account straight away and then they kept charging 8.50 a month and I have no idea what that is even for because I don't get anything from them. I'm complaing to consumer affairs in Australia and will conatct my bank so they don't let them take out the money and the company for a refund.

The free trial of acai berry is not free, but a big headache. The company charge to my debit card $8.51 a month of unauthorized charges. The company goes by price savers, and price limbo. I get a recording when I call and am left on hold untill I eventually hang up usually 30 min. or more later. I am going to my bank with copies of this page in hopes of clearing this matter.
