Everytime I call 131719 it's a 1 hour wait on the telephone. Cheapskates won't employ enough staff at their Indian Call Centre. Last call was on Monday 13/4/2026 and his excuse was it's the start of the week and everyone calls creating backlog. But it was 8pm Perth time, so he;s talking crap. Once you get through service is ok, just be prepared to wait 1 hour in the phone queue. Same happened about 9 months ago and same happening to me now 21.4.26 on hold so far 16 minutes but I expect to wait an hour. So much for their 24/7 service. People who work cannot call and be on hold 1 hour during their work day! Come on Bankwest, lift your game, yoou have a permanent problem with this, it's a regular daily problem. You pay these Indians at the call centre a fraction of what an Australian would cost and yet still you won't employ enough staff. I have phone problems so cannot download the app, and right now must use web based internet service but they had to snail mail my login number for security but 8 days still have not received it! So I'm on hold ready for 1 hour wait to find out where my letter is!
