Was in local xfininity office in Hinesville Ga last week because payment was not drafted from my checking. Told Gentleman at counter we want to start it up again keeps disconnecting. He told us what to pay and because they are not transparent I said are you sure that is all thats needed was told yes. I paid what I was told. My husband called and came into office that day several times because was told it would be on soon and it was not on. Then we got a bill for $355 and it was disconnected. I looked up complaints on xfinity/comcast and there is plenty on this same problem. Even a sued i believe it was back in 2011 for this same practice. We paid the bill and cancelled. Never to return. I noticed the receipt I was given it did show my payment as a charge off. That is a bad debt from what I understand. I paid. it. Also they said it was used for a debt of 6 months or more. This is not that. I told the lady I spoke to when I went back to office that The guy I spoke to last month told me I paid what I was suppose to. They are very deceptive and I told her he didnt say anything was due. I said so if a customer service person doesn't give correct info it is our problem. She said thats right and you still owe. If this a normal business practice and it seems so since there is so many complaints you won't be around long. I also have another account that I have at a different location soon as I have it installed Wednesday. Im cancelling comcast also Stephen Couto/Karen Couto
