My potential roommate had a bankruptcy years ago because the business she was co-owner of closed and filed bankruptcy. Pat
Patricia J Conway was co - owner of Red Top restaurants.
They went under and she was forced to file bankruptcy.
I got turned down because of that.
I would like you to reconsider.
We are retired. I'm 73 and have good credit and and all of the funds necessary to move in.
We are responsible non-smokers and need affordable housing.
Thank you

Don't rent from them!
These people are not BBB accredited for good reason. They have negative reviews there too.
I can reiterate the negative reviews found on this site, and wish I would have read them before using this company.
We rented from Colorado Casa and have had problems from day one. There was no working smoke/CO detector (which is required by law) and when we called to have it repaired/replaced were charged fees for their guy to come out and change the batteries which did nothing to fix the initial problem! I fought for months to have the charge removed. Nonreturned phone calls, requests escalating to demands to speak with Jorgette were never acknowledged. Boris's excuse was, "I can't get in touch with her either". We never did get a working unit. You would think there would be some law that they could be prosecuted against, but just try.
Their leases are written one sided favoring them and you are charged service calls and fees for normal wear and tear. We refused to sign that part of the lease, or else we would be fighting some bogus charge for that also.
Giving notice to them initiates harassing phone calls as to when you can leave, when can they get the keys, that they have rights to show the house immediately per their one sided lease. Showing the house while you are packing and moving the last month is unsettling as they come and go without your consent or your being there. Insofar as getting 24 hours notice to show it, we were notified at 4:00 or 5:00 in the evening for showings the following morning at 8:00 am. Not exactly 24 hours notice as per their own words.
We finally did get the charge removed for the service call to change the batteries in the month before we left only to have the charge deducted from our security deposit along with an exhorbitant fee alleging replacement of the smoke/CO detector! Never again. I would never recommend these people to rent a shoe box.

Don't rent from them
Rented from them for a year and couldn't stand them and had to get out. When I moved in, I submitted a list of problems that I found, some of which needed to be fixed. I tried for months to get things fixed and the only thing I got was lip service (they didn't return my phone calls, so I had to keep trying until people actually answered the phone.) They made promise after promise, but things were not fixed. And then when my lease was coming due, they wouldn't stop calling me to get me to renew, sometimes multiple times a day, even though I told them I wouldn't. After moving out, they have refused to return my deposit, citing the very problems that I documented when I moved in (which they didn't repair.) It's been about a year now and they still refuse to return the deposit. Sadly, it'll cost more in attorney fees and time.

AWFUL
We moved into one of their properties and were ready to call it quits less than 6 months later. The staff is unprofessional, rude, and late when it comes to ANYTHING. One of our outlets shorted and melted, causing our home to lose power and it took them over 36 hours to fix. We lost over $200 in groceries which they refused to reimburse. If you're renting or buying, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company !

Property Management
I hired Colorado Casa Realtors to manage my property while I was out of state. They were good about collecting the rent, but apparently that was all they thought they had to do. When I returned all the landscaping was dead and the weeds were waist-high. The tenant had moved out 20 days earlier, but they had just started cleaning the property. I asked them to turn the security deposit and pet deposit over so I could repair the property, but they said that legally they could not do that. Four months later I learned that they had not collected the deposits and there was no money available to repair the damages. The only time they respond to me or do anything is when I threaten to take them to court. All they care about is collecting their management fee and keeping tenants happy. HOMEOWNERS BEWARE!

I bought a house 9 months into my lease I told them a month prior to buying it that I had bought it, they then threatened to sue me if I didn't pay the remaining 3 months of the lease I paid the 3 months I had the entire house cleaned from top to bottom, they then say since I didn't submit receipts they couldn't count it. They then kept 90% of my security deposit and sent the remaining 10% back to the house they rented to me 3 months after I moved out, when I called to ask why any of this was happening they refused to talk to me and constantly said they were busy, when my wife called they told her that I had a "tone" that was threatening and told her that If I ever came to the office they would call the police on me...I work for the United States Post Office, I have never been arrested in my life or committed a crime...by the way they also rented us a house that didn't have heat in January or February because the thermostat was from the 70's according to the heating people, they then proceeded to charge me for the upgrade to the rental property, also the living room had 2 different shades of paint and they rented us a 3 bedroom house but told us it was a 4 bedroom even though the 4th bedroom wasn't finished remodel for 2 months and didn't have a closet or a working bathroom. I have told any and every person I know about Colorado casa realtors and being a mailman I know a lot of people. And I will be posting this review to any and every review site for your company in my free time.

One of Colorado Casa's "Managed" properties is 4340 Loomis Avenue, in Colorado Springs (just off B Street). Colorado Casa has invested no effort or money into cleaning the property. They do not clean the units prior to families moving in. This is not an unreasonable expectation, especially if new tenants have to pay so much money (holding fees? and Security Deposits). The Property Owner Sean Ogden has to know that Colorado Casa has allowed this property to deteriorate so badly, so I consider the owner to be just as responsible for the poor condition. Someone is going to get seriously hurt or sick living there. One new tenant tried to use the stove in the unit, and the old grease and filth caught fire and burned her face. Colorado Casa did nothing to rectify or clean the unit. Other tenants revealed that when they moved in, their apartments had fecal matter and blood on the walls; and they had to clean it themselves. Colorado Casa is violating multiple facets of the Colorado Landlord-Tenant Lease act, and taking advantage of low-income families. Colorado Casa lies when they tell tenants they will fix these serious problems. Years pass and nothing happens. Liar, Liar Pants on Fire!
I had to pay a $700 holding fee and a $750 Security deposit for a place in the ghetto. The apartment wasn't even cleaned prior to me moving in. It was totally unsanitary and filthy. The entire building is a fire trap, with not a single fire extinguisher anywhere. Trash piled up over every inch of the property. The driveway is a mud hole. Beware if you have children too. There is no place for them too play. This is what Colorado Casa manages. I know that the Property Owner pays a fee to Colorado Casa to manage the property, but Colorado Casa certainly doesn't spend anything on the upkeep. They have earned the title "Ghetto Lords." Just look at the nasty condition of the property in the pictures attached. Beware potential tenants and property owners. Has anyone reported them to Better Business Bureau?
It's horrible for tenents also.
Worst management company ever. Do NOT give money as a holding fee unless you have EVERYTHING in writing. When we moved in we were promised that the plumbing leaks, mold, drywall, broken kitchen cabinets, leaking windows and sliders, OMG the list goes on and on, would be fixed right after we moved in. It was all [censored] and now they're are requiring more of a deposit from us when nothing was EVER fixed. Run away from these people like all their employees do.
I rented from this company I had to sue to get my security deposit, I cleaned the property only lived there one year. This is a horrible company and The owner looked me in the eyes and straight lied. No integrity! I went with the company because all around her office very positive compliments from people but the office workers all talked bad behind her back and every word they said was true. I got most the money back. I hope to teach this company not to run con games on low income families.
