Codio Disappointing Experience with Codio: Slow and Confusing Browser-Based Software

Codio is a software that you can use in your browser. I don't know why universities use this thing. It's really hard to use and it doesn't work like other software that you can download. It's really slow and it's hard to find what you're looking for.

Codio Disappointing Experience with Codio: Lacking Instructions and Effort

So, I tried out Codio for a college project and I gotta say, it wasn't the best experience. The instructions were lacking in detail and it felt like the developers didn't put in much effort. If you're a beginner or just looking for some free resources, I'd recommend searching elsewhere. There are plenty of options out there like Rstudio, Khan Academy, Chanel 9, Techieventure, or even www.techieventures.in on youtube. And the best part? They're all free! Don't waste your time or money on Codio, folks.

Codio Frustrating Experience with Codio: Glitches and Inconsistencies Hindered My Learning

I'm currently enrolled in a python course at my college, and we've been using Codio for all our academic needs, including tests, assignments, projects, and even the syllabus. However, I must say that my experience with Codio has been quite frustrating. The platform tends to be very glitchy and inconsistent, which has been a major source of frustration for me and my classmates.

In particular, I've found that working on projects in Codio can be a real headache. After spending hours writing code for a project, I often find myself spending even more time trying to get it to run correctly in Codio. This can be incredibly frustrating, especially when I'm on a tight deadline.

Overall, I don't think I would take another class that uses Codio. While I appreciate the convenience of having all my course materials in one place, the platform's glitches and inconsistencies have made my learning experience more difficult than it needs to be.

Codio Disappointing Experience with Codio: Not Worth the Hassle Compared to Cloud 9

Codio is a website that offers a lightweight version of cloud 9 IDE. I wanted to try it out, but they don't offer a free trial. I signed up anyway, but I didn't use it much after the first couple of days. I found it to be vastly inferior to cloud 9. I decided to cancel my subscription part way through my second month, but they refused to give me any sort of refund. I was disappointed that they wouldn't even give me a partial refund. I think it's better to just go with cloud 9. Codio is not worth the hassle.

Codio Review: Codio - A User-Friendly Platform for Coding Education

Codio is a great platform for students to use. It's super easy to get started with, all you need is a browser on your computer and you're good to go. The best part is that you don't have to download or install anything, which is a huge relief for those of us who aren't tech-savvy.

The features on Codio are top-notch. I love that I can open a student's project directly and see what they're working on. It's also great for team projects, as everyone can collaborate in real-time. The interface is very user-friendly and intuitive, so even beginners can use it without any trouble.

The support on Codio is amazing. Whenever I have a problem, I usually get a response within minutes. The team is very helpful and knowledgeable, and they always go above and beyond to help me out.

One of the best things about Codio is the rich set of learning materials. There are resources for both introductory and advanced courses, so it's suitable for students at all levels. The materials are well-organized and easy to follow, which makes learning a breeze.

Overall, I highly recommend Codio to anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly platform for coding. It's a great tool for students, teachers, and professionals alike.

Codio Review: Codio - Frustrating and Confusing Coding Website

So, I was a TA for a coding class in college and the professor suggested we use Codio as a starting point for the class. Let me tell you, it was not a good experience. Codio was the most frustrating website I have ever used. Even if the students got the right answer, the problems required specific inputs which made grading by completed courses useless. The crashes, glitches, and poorly designed lessons were just the tip of the iceberg.

After a while, we decided to teach C# with our own curriculum, which was received with open arms by the students. They were relieved to be done with the terrible experience that is Codio. It's a shame, really, because the idea behind the website is great. But the execution is just not there.

I would not recommend Codio to anyone, especially not to beginners. It's just too frustrating and confusing. If you're looking for a good coding website, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Codio Review of Codio: A Comprehensive Programming Tool for Teaching Python

Codio is a great tool for teaching programming, especially Python. I gotta say, it's pretty impressive. I had no problems accessing it using Chrome, Edge, or IE. And the best part is that it updates grades in almost real-time in Canvas. It's pretty comprehensive, too. Overall, it's very good.

But, there are a few downsides. First, the administrative aspect of it seems like a lot of work and not very intuitive. It's a bit of a hassle to set up and manage. Second, there are a few mistakes here and there, but that's to be expected with any computer-based training software. Lastly, there were a few exercises where the instructions weren't very clear, which can be frustrating for students.

Overall, I'd say Codio is better than most programming tools I've seen, but it can be a little overcomplicated. If you're willing to put in the effort to set it up and manage it, it's definitely worth it.

Codio Hands-On Learning with Codio: A Review of the Interactive Coding Website

Codio is a website that I recently discovered and I must say, it's pretty cool. The way it works is that you read and do, which means that you get to be more hands-on with the class than with a traditional textbook. I really like that because I'm a hands-on learner and I learn better when I can actually do things.

The automated graded assignments, reading comprehension questions and formative assessments are also really helpful. They have a lot of potential and can help students learn a lot. However, there are a couple of things that I don't like about Codio.

Firstly, sometimes the wording of the questions is confusing for students, especially those with little to no technical background. I've seen this happen a few times and it can be frustrating for students. They end up spending a lot of time trying to figure out what the question is asking and that takes away from the learning experience.

Secondly, the automated output check is too strict. For example, if the expected output is "a is a vowel", having an output of "a is a vowel." will mark the question wrong. This is a problem because it means that students who actually got the question right are being marked wrong. It's frustrating for both the students and the teachers.

Overall, I think Codio is a great resource for students who want to learn more about coding. It's interactive, hands-on, and has a lot of potential. However, there are some issues that need to be addressed, such as the confusing wording of questions and the strict automated output check. If these issues are fixed, I think Codio could be even better than it already is.

Codio Unreliable and Confusing: My Experience with Codio Coding Platform

I gotta say, Codio (codio.com) is not my cup of tea. It's like they expect you to be a mind reader or something, because half the time there's not enough instruction to do the task. And when there is instruction, it's riddled with misspellings that make me wonder if a 3rd grader wrote it.

Let me give you an example of the kind of nonsense you'll find on this platform. They'll give you a question like, "Which of the following is true?" and then give you options like "We have a yard" and "We have a car." But then, the correct answer is "All of the above" even though "None of the above" is also a valid answer. What kind of logic is that?

And don't even get me started on the instructions they give you. They'll tell you to do a square root of a number, add a couple of numbers, and subtract a number all in one instruction. And then, when the answer comes out to be a decimal, they'll give you whole numbers as the correct answer. Like, come on now, we're coding here! There are operators we could use to make this a whole number. And if they wanted us to round it up or down, they should have said that in the question.

Honestly, the QA on this software is terrible. It's like they didn't even bother to test it before releasing it to the public. All in all, I would not recommend Codio to anyone looking for a reliable coding platform.

Codio Mixed Feelings About Codio: A Professor's Review

I gotta say, I have some mixed feelings about Codio. I'm a professor and I've been using it for my Intro to Python course this semester, and while it's been pretty good in terms of providing challenging content that's still accessible to beginners, I've had some issues with the interface.

Basically, the way you interact with the site can be pretty inconsistent from page to page, which can be really frustrating for students who are new to programming or just new to using technology in general. Like, sometimes the buttons are in different places or they're not there at all when you need them. And there have been times when students have had trouble running code because there's no terminal or "run" button on the page.

It seems like the folks who developed Codio didn't really think about how it would be used in a classroom setting, because there are definitely some features that are great for individual learning but don't work as well when you're trying to teach a whole class. And there have been some bugs that have made it really difficult to grade assignments through my school's learning management system.

All that said, I do think there are some good things about Codio. The autograding is really helpful, and it's definitely challenging enough to keep advanced students engaged. But I'm not sure I'd use it again in the future, at least not without some major improvements to the interface and the way it integrates with other tools.

Codio Don't expepect much from this platform

This is by far the worst software I have ever used!
1. Lacks instruction - half the time you don't get enough instruction to do the task or you don't even know what they expect because there wasn't enough instruction with it. So expect a fun-filled day of guessing until you... might hit the correct combination.
2. Misspelling throughout the course. I think a 3rd grader wrote this, to be honest.
3. Let me give you an example the mentality of this platform:
Here are your choices and it doesn't matter what the question is really it's the context I am trying to show.
A. None of the above
B.We have a yard
C.We have a car
D. All the Above
If you selected (C) or (B) you would be incorrect because the answer is (D)
Whhhhaatttt you say! How can you have None of the above with all the above... EXACTLY!
This was actually (the structure) of one of the questions in this package.
4. They give you instruction to do a sqrt of a number add a couple of numbers subtract a number... all in one instruction, no big deal it's doable. But then the answer comes out to be a decimal and their answers are all in whole numbers. COME ON NOW we are coding here there are operators that we could have thrown in to make this a whole number and if you wanted us to round it up or down you should have said that in the question.
5. TERRIBLE QA DONE ON THIS SOFTWARE!

Codio Solid Coding Practice with Codio, but Examples are Lacking

Codio is a pretty cool website for coding, but I gotta say, the examples they give you are kinda lame. They don't really represent the kind of problems you'll encounter in the real world. I mean, who cares about making a calculator or a guessing game? That's not gonna impress any employers or clients.

But other than that, Codio is pretty solid. The interface is easy to use and the tutorials are helpful. It's nice that they have a built-in terminal so you don't have to switch back and forth between different programs. And the fact that you can collaborate with other people on the same project is a huge plus.

One thing that bugs me though is that sometimes the website can be a bit slow. I don't know if it's my internet connection or what, but it can be frustrating when you're trying to get work done and the website is taking forever to load.

Overall, I'd say Codio is worth checking out if you're looking for a place to practice your coding skills. Just don't expect the examples to blow your mind or anything.

Codio Review of Codio: A Cool Coding Website with Room for Improvement

Codio is a pretty cool website for coding, but there are a few things that could be better. For example, the instructions for using the auto grader and configuring stuff could be clearer. I had a hard time figuring it out at first, but eventually got the hang of it. Also, it would be nice if there were more guidance on how to integrate Codio with my LMS and how to configure it properly. Overall, though, it's a good site for coding and I would recommend it to others.

Codio Disappointing Experience with Codio's Autograder and Assessment Creation

Codio ain't that great, to be honest. The autograder had some problems, which made it a bit of a hassle to use. And don't even get me started on trying to create your own assessments and test cases - it's way too complicated for my liking. The questions that come with Codio are pretty basic, too. And even those sometimes have issues. All in all, not the best experience.
