This company is RUNNING A SCAM. I placed an order for A VFD Allen Bradley *** on Dec 7th. I was told that they had 20 new units in stock. A week after the order nothing has happened. I asked for a tracking number and a label was created in Shenzen China. Each day the tracking is updated saying its on its way but no change in location. I asked multiple times for a refund for deceptive website information and they refused. DO NOT BUY FROM Williams Automation! They don't actually have product in stock. Really deceptive business practices.

I haven't been able to get reliable parts from my previous supplier for well over a year at this point (Summer '22), so I began to hunt for places to get replacement stock. Williams Automation has been a godsend for our little city. I'm actually able to get surplus parts now and with none of the headache I didn't realize I had become accustomed to.

Williams understood the urgency, identified and confirmed the part and then shipped to us timely. All has arrived in good new condition for what we ordered.

Williams Automation I agree on not buying from this company

I agree on not buying from this company. Item sold stated new and they sent me a used product. They showed having 20 new items went down to 19 after receiving the used item. They were no help on getting the correct one out and would not ship new until receiving the used item back on their ground account. I shipped Next Day Air to me. I can only hope they credit me back my money. With Williams, a four-person American company. Very, very sad!

We ordered an "in stock part" I called to confirm and was told it was on the shelf at their NC location. This was a lie. After we ordered Next Day Red, we were told it was not is stock. Even thought the website shows 18 in stock currently. After I called to get an update, I was told multiple time that the "boss" had to update the spreadsheet with tracking. Now on day 9 of waiting for my "in stock item" to ship Next Day, I get a tracking number. That number is to a totally wrong address in the wrong state. Now I am once again waiting for the "Boss" to update. Don't waste your time with these clowns. Part I ordered is [asterisks replaced].

Williams Automation This is the most dishonest company I have ever worked with!

This is the most dishonest company I have ever worked with!

I purchased 2 of the same items they lied and said they had the part in stock and they could ship it overnight since my factory was down due to needing this part.

They then changed the price when I went to order from $580 to $1080.00 per piece. Needing to get our factory up we agreed to pay the new cost.

In the end they didn't have the item in stock, they never shipped 1 single item to us. They lied all along about it being shipped, the tracking number and needing to talk to the "Boss" that they never let you speak with. The 1 item they shipped, they shipped to themselves from their own location.

And we still have only received 1 refund of the two items.

They are either the biggest liars, the most incompetent people I have done business with or BOTH.

Pathetic!

I ordered a touch panel from these guys, as their web sited showed that they have 16 new factory sealed units in stock. Just to be safe, I used the online chat to verify that they did indeed have this unit in stock, and they confirmed that they did. I ordered the unit, and it was promptly delivered, but it was obviously used, and it was missing the mounting hardware and other accessories that normally come with the unit. I called them, and I was told that they must have shipped the wrong unit, and that they would ship the correct unit the next day. The next day, I was informed that they actually don't have any new units in stock, but I could keep the used one at a discount. I declined their offer, and now, 25 days later, their website still shows 16 new factory sealed units in stock. Mistakes happen, but this appears to just be how these guys do business.

Williams Automation Ordered a new part, was sent a used part

Ordered a new part, was sent a used part.

Over the span of 15 business days I called them 6 times to follow up. Every time I called, the same gentleman answered and responded to my questions with, "I'll have to speak to my boss." Then he would not get back to me. On the third call, I was told that I had to complete a refund process on their website, even though I'm not the one that made the mistake. I was not sent a return label, only a customer account number and told to go to the nearest store and fill out paperwork to use their account. Once they received the return, I was told the new one would ship out the same day. Three days later I called back and was told that I was refunded and was not shipped a new part because they didn't have any in stock.

It took them 15 business days to finally tell me they didn't have any new parts in stock.

When I search the business address, it goes to a house in the country. This company dropships products and their website is inaccurate when it comes to what is in-stock. Do your research before doing business with this company so that you don't get the same problems I encountered.

Will not pursue any further business with this company.

I have never dealt with a company that was this deceptive and difficult to deal with. I placed an online order for $14,400 for two products on that Williams Automation claimed to have 20 in stock of. The website said they had same day shipping, but after two days they didn't send a tracking number so I followed up with them. Charles Williams said the parts actually had a 3 day lead time but not to worry because they should ship the next week. I told him we needed it urgently and he said they work working to ship as quickly as possible. The next week I followed up to get an update and was told that the order wouldn't actually ship for 2 more weeks. I asked how these could have almost a month lead time when the website showed 20 in stock, and was told that the website needs to be updated. I asked Charles Williams to please confirm that they would actually be able to supply these parts and he reassured me that Williams Automation would be supplying the order that I paid for. A few days later I followed up again because I was concerned that they didn't actually have the product, and once again Williams Automation reassured me that they were on track to ship by the end of the month. Next week I emailed again asking for an update and didn't get a response for 24 hours, so then I emailed several more times, and still no response. I called and spoke to Charles Williams who said the order was still being processed. That night, without any explanation, I received an email saying my order had been cancelled, with no explanation. To emphasize, two weeks after placing an online order for $14,400.00 for parts that Williams Automation claimed to have in stock, they abruptly cancelled my order. They had reassured me multiple times that they would be supplying the parts, but it turns out they don't actually have the parts that they claim to stock on their website. As of right now, they still show inventory for this part which is obviously not true. Since cancelling, I emailed asking why it was cancelled and was told that the shipment was damaged. Then I called and was told that the product was no longer available. I asked to speak to someone as to how they could string along a customer for weeks and was told that the owner would call me, but I still have not received a call. I will never place another order with this company, and think it is ridiculous that they are allowed to accept orders on their website for parts they don't even have available.
