Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Never allowed me to utilize the services and now out of business.

I pay in full $5,000 in 2012 and was never allowed to utilize the services. Every time I tried to utilize they gave me some type of excuse of why I couldn't have those dates at those locations. Now they are out of business. They stated, this plan I could pass down to my children. That is $5k down the drain. Please assist with getting my funds back.

T(AZ)

Desired outcome: Return my funds of $5k.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Company is a scam, took my money received no travel deals.

I have spent over $6500 for this travel club including the upgrades and renewals they force on you and have not been able to use it once. I purchased this travel club to eliminate my traveling problems, (which is what they promise) not have more problems. When I called for airfare, it was priced higher than right off the internet. They had no travel locations available when requested, yet the other travel agencies had plenty. You can't get prices from them it's almost impossible. I spent more time playing phone tag with them. To be honest this has been nothing but a headache dealing with them. Not to mention once you finally get a hold of them I would always get much better prices than them on hotels. We had several family members call to get prices they receive the same type of run around. They don't want to use this company either it's way to much work for something you have to research on your own. Now you cannot even get to their website, or contact the company. This company is a scam.

Desired outcome: Would like a refund of my $6500.My email is [protected]@gmail.com

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways discount and prepaid vacations

Paid extra to avoid annual fees
Still pay annual fees
Paid up in July receiving email saying no annual fees until 2035.
1 month later called and told I extended my weeks but didn't cover annual fees. Then caller hung up on me.

Some months earlier the same individual, who is always rude and extremely disrespectful, talks incessantly, avoids answering my questions, and is horribly repetitive. I hung up on him and got a message back from him laughing as he reportedly now was able to cancel my membership, so I would lose everything.

Impossible to book

Prices do not match their claims

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways scam on trying to continually get money from me for yearly fees when i pay they upgrade me then tell me i haven't made my yearly fees

I agree to being scammed too. If there is a class action for this company I want in too. I am constantly getting calls for money for fees and they are rude and threaten and try to put words into my mouth and I am sick of them. For example they call to harass me for the supposedly yearly fee that they say I have to pay but yet when I finally agree they use that money to upgrade me and down the road I get another call saying I haven't paid my yearly fee. What the heck. The remind me the value of my membership but then tell me I have to give them more money or be current with my fees for them to sell it back but then when I say ok I want to sell it back they say that they aren't the ones who do that but they will list it for me.
In over two months this last year I spent over $1000 to bring my account where it shows I paid my yearly fees. You know what they said and they did? They used the money to upgrade and then told me I hadn't paid for my yearly fees for the last several years. I am so done with this company. Supposedly I am with Grand Incentives which then is now Grand Getaways.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Travel service

I signed up for the life time membership with a fee of $4, 995.00 on 01/10/2012. Then on 04/08/2013 grand getaways called my home and got my mother. They told her I needed to renew my membership and they would send all kinds of travel vouchers to us. She fell for it and paid $539.00 with her credit card. I called several times to complain and informed them I had a life time membership, that I did not need to renew. They give me a run around and now my mom has a membership. Then on 10/20/2015 they call again. Got my mom on the phone, she begs them to not charge her credit card that she does not travel and she needs to talk to her daughter. They charge her credit card anyway. So $6, 073.00 and I have not had one single trip. Truly a rip off. And I fell for it. Pray that no one else will not fall for their sale pitch and lies.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways rip off and false promises

19, 000 for a vacation club that don't offer anything on their promises. I purchased this in The Bahamas while on vacation Please be careful out there. A vacation should be pleasant and not filled with vultures trying to take your money and lie to you.
They call you every 3 months to renew and even after you renew they keep calling and tell you if you don't renew you'll lose your membership. Also they are rude and don't deliver on their promises. They get their price online same prices you can find and they black ball you if you don't renew. They promise you have an account manager but all they do is collect money and when they cant they don't bother with you.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Avoid Coast to Coast Grand Getaways!! (AKA GGT Miami, Coast-to-Coast, Grand Incentives, Grand Getaways)

Avoid Coast to Coast Grand Getaways!
(AKA GGT Miami, Coast-to-Coast, Grand Incentives, Grand Getaways)

I have been fighting to cancel my membership and get a refund for almost 18 months! They never delivered what was promised and never responded to my many many complaints.

They wore me down into signing up for a $2000+ package after holding me and my wife hostage for almost 5 hours at a hotel in Miami. They made many promises of free trips, free airline tickets and other incentives if i signed up for their vacation club. It took almost a year of follow up just to get the login to their website, despite nearly a dozen messages left without a response. They somehow got their hands on my new CC number and started billing me there. To this day, i never received my free trips they promised!

Finally, one of the managers told me that if i settled with them for a one-time-payment of an additional $539, that would settle all future payments and they would issue my welcome kit and free trips (over a year later by this point), which i was naive enough to believe. Not only did they send my free trip vouchers, but they continued to charge my CC and perform collection phone calls.
This company scams people out of their hard earned money, giving 3 days to cancel, yet tells you to wait 14 days for your welcome kit, website login and free incentives. By the time you never get it, the cancellation period is over. And good luck trying to get someone on the phone that can help you. You can expect to be transferred several times - if you ever reach a live person. Even their managers speak down to you and threaten you if you refuse to pay, after receiving nothing for your money.

You would be foolish to make the same mistakes i made..

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Charged without my consent

I was a customer of Coast to Coast Grand Gateways and paid for their annual membership. It was about a time for this membership to end and somewhere around this time I've noticed a charge made by this company. I called them and they explained me that it is renew cost for my membership. What a hell, I didn't give my consent for it... They need to ask me before taking any money from my account.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Maintenance Fee Scam

Last year, Mark Biondi told me that if I paid a one time fee or $398.00 or something I don't remember the exact amount... Anyway I was told we would never have to pay maintenance again. Now I am getting phone calls that if I pay another two years blah blah... I am not happy.. He flat out lied to me...

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Promised to Sell our Membership

A sales representative from Coast to Coast called me to suggest that it was time to renew our membership, so I told him that we didn't think we wanted to renew it anymore that we never used it. He said he could sell it for us, but that we would have to pay the membership dues first and that we would never have to pay the dues again after we paid them this time. So we paid the dues and asked him to sell it for us. I called him yesterday, May 1, 2013 and could not get him to answer my calls. I am beginning to wonder if this is a scam. I hope I am incorrect. One of the reasons we did not use it is the fact that the resorts are too expensive. I checked a place in Michigan and Wisconsin and they both wanted over $1000 for 7 days. Too much! I have other timeshares to beat those prices. Another thing, the agent won't return my calls.

So it really doesn't do any good to complain then. No one is going to do anything about it, except call us again next year and sing the same old tune about selling our membership for us if we renew it. so I guess I will just not renew it next year. Let them try to charge me $10, 000 to get out of my contract. They said they were taping the conversation. They didn't say anything about any fee like that in a phone conversation. That's a scare tactic. As far as I'm concerned they can keep their membership and cruise it/.

I think it is a rip off, I didn't renew this year As I never used it and now they're telling me I am a lifetime member and if I don't pay yearly they will file a action against me. They also say I upgraded my membership, which I never did, their salesman told me I was being upgraded at no extra cost, but surprise I'm now being charged twice the original price. They told me if I don't renew my membership I need to pay 10 years in fees to get out of the contract they say I agreed to which amounts to $5, 000. I think we all need to get together and have do a class action suit against this group. I have asked them to send copies and the telephone conversations for me to review to see what was exactly discussed and agreed to, I have yet to receive anything. They say you only need to pay a small fee to use their properties because we have already paid for the vacations, but suddenly their is multiple costs involved
Lets get together and do something about this group!

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Not a complaint

This is not a complaint. I have read some complaints about Coast to Coast's auto warranty in this forum. I checked out Coast To Coast with the BBB of eastern Ontario and while there were some complaints mentioned, BBB has given Coast To Coast an A+ rating. I would like to hear from people who have had positive experiences with this company as I am in the market to purchase such a policy. Any thoughts or help with this? Thank you.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways travel fraud

Unsolicited phone call selling club due to Cheap Travel going out of business & that I had bought with them in 2004. Offered premium gold membership, 2 or 4 yr., lots of benefits. Went to web page, everything had prices, no offers for members as promised. I found I have a prior membership #with them, as well as #issued today. Salesman, and sales manager could not answer my question, nor could web site, no call to travel agent: "Which resorts do you use in San Diego" Found charges for any resorts listed and most were all studios - not 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. I find the whole thing a fraud and will be going to Visa office to cancel the transaction, especially finding all the horrid testimonies on this website.

Hi Joyce!
Thanks for choosing to be a Coast to Coast Grand Getaways member! I did a quick search, and it doesn't look like you ever submitted a travel request for San Diego. Although our website features select international travel deals, there are a limitless number of vacations our experienced travel agents can book. If you would like to send a travel request to qualityassurance@gograndgetaways.com, then we can find you a 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom resort/hotel/condo in San Diego. You may also call [protected]. Have a great week!

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Harassment

In past years, I had a membership with this company, and had last renewed that membership in 02/2009. I have been called numerous times trying to get me to re-new my expired membership. I have told them repeatedly that I am not interested in doing so. I am 81 yrs old, and have a husband dying from Alzheimer's. Adam McDonald, who identified himself as Acct Mgr of Coast to Coast called me again today. I allowed him to give his promo, thanked him, told him I was not interested, and hung up. He called right back, indignant that I hung up. I told him again I was not interested, and hung up. He left message on my answering machine that since I hung up on him, he would call me every day for the next two years.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Extended New/Used Car Breakdown Warranty

DO NOT BUY! They will never pay out a claim! Bought a car from a dealer that said he would include a 6 month unlimited mileage Engine and Transmission Warranty. When we got to the dealer to pay and pick up the car, he ask us to sign a paper for a warranty. The name of the company on the form was Coast to Coast Dealer(small print) Services. Everything on the front of the warranty is in big print and back is very small print. He raved at how great this company was and if anything happened to the transmission or engine in the first 6 months, it would be covered by this company. We thought the dealer was covering the tranny and engine, not a warranty company but he assured us they were extremely reputable(NOT!) Shame on the dealer and this company as this is not the case. First, the Tranny went out. Called warranty company and dealer. Coast to Coast said they needed the mechanic to take the tranny completely apart and find out what parts were bad at our cost before they would consider covering it. That would have taken the mechanic 5 hours of labor at our cost, still not sure if it would be covered. Next, called when the cam shafts were leaking for warranty, not covered. Engine needed to be replaced due to timing belt tensioner failed, not covered. Read the fine print on the back as nothing is covered. Also, as other posts indicate, they will say you did not do your maintenance on the car even though you have all your receipts showing you did everything. I would like Coast to Coast to put on their website real people that have had items covered from their warranty so that we can find out if they have actually EVER paid out a claim. New logo on their website, Women Certified. Just a scam to get women to think that Coast to Coast is a reputable company. NOT! Remember, They are called Coast to Coast DEALER services. Dealers and Coast to Coast are leading us to assume if we buy or receive a warranty, we will be covered. DON"T buy or agree to this warranty from any dealer or from Coast to Coast. Yes, I had this car checked out by a mechanic prior to buying it. None of these items were a observed to be a problem when I bought the car but because it was an older/used vehicle, we felt we had piece of mind knowing if anything happened to the engine or tranny, it would be covered in the first 6 months. I will repeat again, Do NOT GET WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY. I hope I save many consumers the heart ache and money we have lost.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways SCAM, false promises

If they delivered 50% of what they offered in the presentation it would be a 100% improvement. But above and beyond the fact they don't really give good rates or have good locations, their employees attitudes are absolutely abysmal. We were told we don't have to renew every year, we could simply not renew for a year or however long, then pay the renewal for a year when we wanted to use the service. Now, every year I get these high pressure, know-it-all wanna-be tough guys who try to push me into renewing. The first thing they say when I tell them what I was told in the presentation is "You didn't read the fine print", or "I cant speak about what they told you, but you HAVE to renew". Again, they don't deliver on the promises, they don't have decent or even competitive prices, and they flat out lie. And they are very slick about the sale. They get you a BoA Credit card to pay for the plan in full, so you then have no way of impacting the sale. You're stuck dealing with the back and they are off the hook.

Coast to Coast Grand Getaways Fraud

I was fraudulently promised that a time shared owned by me and my partner would be purchased and towards a vacation package costing $14, 000.00 with a balance remaining to pay over a period of 60 months for 17% interests, we gave a down payment of $1, 000.00, at the end of 5 1/2 hours we were owing 6, 745.00. I am deeply concerned that they will not rescind the agreement and continue to charge me after I went to the office in person. I did not receive a faxed confirmation that the rescission agreement signed by me and my partner was faxed to Apex Interantional.

Subsequently, the next day I went back to the office and signed a request in writing rescinding the contract and demanding that our deposit of $1, 000.00 made on 5/17/2012 be placed back into our checking account, I visited the office on 5/18/2012 to request the contract be rescinded and that my funds would be immediately returned to my checking acccout. I contacted the bank and they indicated that the funds weren already taken out of my account on the same day, 5/17/2012.

The companies representatives did calculated prayers from the beginning to the end of the 5 1/2 hour presentation, which incidently we were told would be only 90 minutes. I would hope and pray that no one gets suckened into this scam, it was quite clear after the reading the "Resort Transfers International Contract, which was clearly a cut and paste job with provisions that were questionable about the transfer and sale of our time share to Apex International Company." The contract also had questionable different front sizes and grammatical errors.

I am very concerned about people using God and prayers to deceive the public, as a person of prayer I am praying that these scams and people causing them will be punished.

The above mentioned New Tork purchaser from Apex did not say that he did not get his vacations but that he asked for a refund before he even tried the program. Sounds like sour grapes to me. This was not a fair or helpful comment.
