Coaches HVAC ExtraordinAIR This company was given to me by my home warranty company

This company was given to me by my home warranty company. They wanted more money than what AHS would pay them, so they submitted an estimate using words from Section D to make sure AHS would pass the cost of those services to me. These are services that are covered under the contract. But they knew it wouldn't be covered if they used the exclusion words. It was just one word. Modification. AHS won't pay for modifications but will pay for upgrades. That one word caused the warranty company to not pay for services that were included in our contract and pass the charges of $2,270.00 to us. The contract stated that AHS will cover upgrades and necessary associated upgrades to duct connections, plenums, and indoor electrical lines up to and including disconnect. They also overcharged for other services: $500 for a permit that cost $225. And they quoted $700 for the resident Title 24 and $400 Duct Testing. When I asked if he would revise the quote to correctly state what they would be doing "Upgrading," he stated he would not do it, but he would contact AHS to request another company be assigned to my service request. We are in a pandemic, people are dying, my household income has reduced, force to stay at home, it's winter, no heat and we have companies that are considered essential business that are dishonest and treating customers unfairly in order to gain an advantage and line their pockets in a PANDEMIC.

Coaches HVAC ExtraordinAIR I got Coaches HVAC to put in a new AC/furnace system with Zoning on 5/27

I got Coaches HVAC to put in a new AC/furnace system with Zoning on 5/27. At first, I didn't notice anything wrong because it wasn't too hot, but later on, I noticed that when I turned on the AC upstairs, it didn't cool down much, but downstairs was freezing. Then, when I turned on the heater downstairs, it got super hot upstairs, but downstairs was still cold. I called Coaches and the technician said the techs who installed the system "messed up" and "reversed" the zoning. He said he "fixed" it, but the damper motor connectors were broken (loose), and he tried to tighten them for now, but he was placing an order for new motors. About a week later, the heater stopped working completely. Another tech came out, and because of the dampers being broken, my furnace was overworking, which caused it to shut off automatically. The tech reset the breakers and was able to restart the furnace. But because the dampers were broken, I have no zoning. The damper motors have been on backorder for months, and they anticipate it could take months to be available. I spent almost $10K on this system, and I have not been able to use it since May. I called another AC company to give me a second opinion, and the tech said that old plenum and damper motors caused the dampers to break down. Plenum/dampers should have been replaced from the beginning. MY HOUSE IS FREEZING COLD because of this nightmare.
