Overall, I am disappointed with the fees charged by Ideal Services Heating & Cooling for replacing a thermostat that was still under warranty. While the installation process went well and the system has been working fine, the additional charges for labor and processing fees seem excessive. I would recommend shopping around and comparing prices before using Ideal Services for any future HVAC needs.

Ideal Services came to my crib on April 27, 2022 to swap out a coil unit in one of my HVAC systems. They found out during our yearly checkup on April 19, 2022 that our coil from this HVAC unit was leaking and needed to be replaced. The checkup on April 19, 2022 was a full checkup of our 3 HVAC systems, including a new one that was just put in last October by Ideal Services. While swapping out the coils on April 27, the technician broke our Concentric Vent while cutting on the PVC pipe with a Sawzall. This busted pipe makes the heating part of our system not work. Ideal Solutions then said I gotta pay them an extra $732.29 to fix the pipe that they busted! Our crib is only 7 years old and we already spent over $17,000 with Ideal Services in 6 months and now they want $732.29 to fix something that they busted in the first place. They say the pipe wasn't supported right but it passed our Occupancy Permit, our first crib checkup, the checkup when we had our basement done 6 years ago and the system checkup just last week by the same technician who busted it. Our system is in worse shape after he left our crib than before he worked on it. Ideal Services don't see no problem with this and only offered me a "solution of 20% off the cost of the repair". This feels like a con job! Please help!
