Jonathan has been very proactive in his efforts to make sure that the Lennox system works as good as it can.

I had a guy from Daffan come over to show us the A/C units they had. We picked one, but he tried to upsell us on a more expensive unit that supposedly would fix our dust problem. He said the filters only needed to be changed once a year and cost $189. We fell for it and bought the pricier unit. But guess what? Within a month, it stopped working. The technician said it was because we didn't change the filter. And to top it off, the dust issue actually got worse, not better.

The guy from Daffan started making excuses. First, he blamed our dogs. But I reminded him that he had met our dogs and knew about them before making his claims. Then he said the doggy door was the problem and needed to be replaced. When that didn't work, he said we needed to change all the vent grates. Surprise, surprise, that didn't work either. Then he blamed a nearby building fire for the dust, saying it takes "several months" for the air to clear.

Months later, they claimed the new unit was stronger and picking up dust from hidden parts of the house, depositing it in obvious places. (Sounds ridiculous, right?) After a year of complaining, they finally sent someone else, their "shut 'em up" guy. He had the audacity to tell me I was imagining the dust, that it wasn't there. So, I wrote in the dust with my finger to prove him wrong. And what did he do? Accused me of not dusting my house regularly. (I was dusting every weekend, mind you.) Then he had the nerve to say I had to wait another year for the unit to work properly.

I asked for some kind of compensation, but they said they didn't make enough profit to offer any. That was the last thing he said before leaving my house.

The guy they sent to fix my air conditioner messed up big time. He took out a piece of the system and put it back all wrong, so now the fan is smacking against the casing. And get this, he didn't even bother to secure the capacitor he replaced, so it fell right into the fan and fried the motor. When they finally came back to fix their mess, all they offered was a lousy discount on the whopping $300+ repair bill. Can you believe it? That capacitor they slapped in costs a measly $12 at any store, but they had the nerve to charge me a whopping $75 for it. Can't trust these guys, I tell ya.
