Let me get straight to the point. I had placed an order for windows in May 2017 through Clera Windows + Doors (clerawindows.com) and they had assured that the windows will be manufactured within 6 to 8 weeks. However, by November I did not receive any update about my order. I contacted the salesman and to my surprise, he admitted that he had forgotten to place my order. Finally, my windows arrived in February of the next year, after a four-month delay.

But the trouble didn't stop there. During the installation process, the installer who was working on my house left the company. This was not acceptable, and I was told that the regional manager would take over the installation process and complete the job. Unfortunately, that never happened. As a result, two windows were left without outside casings. This left them exposed to the elements for another seven months, which was totally unacceptable.

I contacted the company numerous times, but every time I received the same old runaround. I was given one excuse after another, which was frustrating beyond words. Finally, on Labor Day, I decided that I had had enough. I sent a text message to all those responsible for my order. In the message, I threatened that unless the work was completed within the week, I would get a private contractor to finish the job. I warned them that I would sue them for all the costs and would summon them to appear as witnesses. I mentioned that they'd probably lose already scheduled work and their wages as a result.

To my surprise, I got a phone call within half an hour, and the company agreed to complete the work that week. However, I was so frustrated with the whole process that I would still advise anyone thinking about using Clera Windows + Doors to stay away from them. It wasn't just the delay in manufacturing and installation, but the lack of communication, excuses, and poor service that were unacceptable.

We've had almost all our windows replaced by Clera over the past few years, and let me tell you, it's been quite a journey. The first set we ordered were top-notch, but the next set we ordered were a bit lower in quality, especially when it came to the night locks. We were told they would be of the same standard, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. To make matters worse, earlier this year, one of our older windows (it was only 5 years old) broke. We couldn't open it without it shifting and being difficult to close, and mind you, we hardly ever used that window.

When we called Clera, it took several months for someone to come out and take a look at it. And even then, they left with no promise of when it would be fixed. It wasn't until we called them again two months later that someone finally took notice. However, our relief was short-lived when we were informed that WE would be responsible for the labor cost, which amounted to 75 dollars an hour for the first hour, and 50 dollars after that! It was quite the shock, to say the least.

We were a bit taken aback because we had assumed that the LIFETIME WARRANTY would cover everything, but boy, were we wrong. No salesperson had told us that it only applied to the parts. So now, we're stuck with the cost of something that wasn't our fault to begin with.

All in all, we can't say that we're too pleased with our experience with Clera. We probably won't be recommending them to anyone, and we certainly won't be purchasing from them again. It's such a shame because we had such high hopes in the beginning, but unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be.

So, I tried to call and text Clera Windows + Doors multiple times and I didn't get any answers back. It got me really worried because I already spent thousands of dollars for this product! I mean, that's not cheap! It took me quite a bit of effort to persuade them to respond to me. I even had to resort to writing a review to get any feedback, which is not ideal.

And then they told me that they cannot figure out how to match the paint for the door. That's just unacceptable! We don't want them touching up the defects with paint. I mean, that's not a solution! Their suggestion was just plain ridiculous! Why can't they make sure their product is perfect right out of the box?

Other door manufacturers told me the same thing, that it's not normal for a door to have these flaws. We were not even told that it's defective before we bought it. If we were, then we wouldn't have chosen this front door right from the start. It's just frustrating because it's not our fault that their door can't handle everyday usage.

Honestly, I feel embarrassed about being referred to this type of product by a family member. It's just not worth it! If anything, they should have gone above and beyond with customer service to make sure that the client is happy. That's what should matter the most! After all, we spent thousands of dollars!

We just want our money back, so we can shop at another company that can deliver and install a great product with excellent customer service. It's not too much to ask for, right? We deserve better, and we'll make sure that we make the right choice next time!

So, I heard about Clera Windows + Doors from my friend who recently installed their beautiful replacement windows and doors from them. Being impressed by the durability and design of the products, I decided to give them a try for my own windows replacement. I needed a replacement part for one of my windows which was only four years old. So, I contacted Clera and they said that they could send the replacement part for free. I was thrilled with their offer and agreed to it.

After a few days, they also asked me to give a review of their product on Home Stars and so I did, giving them a positive review. However, my joy was short-lived when the replacement part didn't show up even after two weeks. I followed up with an email and was told that they would be shipping the part the following week. I waited patiently, but after a week, I still didn't receive the part. So, I emailed them again to follow up and was given the same response that the part was shipped on June 26th by Canada Post.

It has been over a month now since I first contacted them, but the replacement part is still not here. I am really disappointed with the poor customer service from Clera Windows + Doors. I even saw some other reviews from unhappy customers who faced similar issues with them. The staff seems to give you the run-around, hoping that you will give up and go away.

Overall, I am not satisfied with my experience with Clera Windows + Doors. The replacement part never arrived, and they did not seem to care about my problem. I would not recommend their products or services to anyone who wants to get quality windows and doors and expects good customer service.

Basically, I had no other choice but to file a dispute of charge with my credit card company. Such a hassle.

Overall, I'd definitely advise staying away from Clera. They might have decent products, but the lack of customer service and dishonesty from the sales rep left me feeling disappointed and annoyed.

Few years in the past, we got a new window installed and now it's leaking like Niagara Falls. To make things worse, the whole locking mechanism has gone kaput. To handle it, I called up Clera, but they didn't reply to any of my messages. I kept calling and contacting them for 3 long weeks, but still, radio silence. It was only after I left a low rating review on Better Business Bureau (BBB) website did it get sorted. The Clera folks gave me a solemn promise of fixing the issue, provided I removed or changed my review. I gave my word, but only after everything's settled.

Then comes in Fernando, assuring me with confidence that someone- an installer- will come on board and take charge to fix the leaky window problem. Lo and behold, the installer called me up but merely notified me of his instructions to come in and "caulk" the window. But wait, I had clearly mentioned, and Fernando had accepted that caulking wouldn't be the fix here. Fascia has to come off to have a peek inside, you know. Of course, the installer admitted he had to contact customer service and left it as that. Nobody called or got back to us, even after repeated messages and calls.

Honestly, the service from Clera Windows + Doors is nothing short of terrible. I'd never ask them for any help, and I'd advise everyone else who wants new windows or doors to stay away from them.

First and foremost, I wanna say that I had a super stoked outlook towards Clera Windows + Doors (clerawindows.com)! Now that winter was coming, I couldn't wait to save some moola by redoing all of the main floor windows. I placed my order back in October 2017, so they could get them done and set up in time for winter and cutting heating costs.

However, after signing the order, I wasn't informed of any progress from the company at any point. To get any sort of update on the status of the windows, I had to repeatedly call the salesperson who sold us the windows (Tom Crowley). I don't think we even heard from the Clera team themselves once! Mr. Crowley would tell us that the windows would be all good to go in the factory and he'd hit us back within 2-3 weeks.

After 4 whole months, the windows were finally installed in March! By that point, winter was already gone! Clera Windows didn't deliver very much customer service overall in our experience sadly.

Nevertheless, the contractors who were the ones to install the windows were GREAT with us! They hustled and bustled to get the windows put in within the week we needed to ensure we could receive a rebate for energy by getting an audit done. The deadline was first slated for February, but we got a reprieve for a month which let us slide in under the deadline for the rebate.

If anyone ever asked for a window place recommendation, I wouldn't recommend Clera Windows.

So, I called up Clera Windows + Doors for an estimate to replace our outdated doors and windows. They sent Vikh from Vaughan location to our home to give us the lowdown on their products. I gotta say, Vikh presented their products very well. He went into great detail about the workmanship that Clera gives to its customers. My husband and I were sold right then and there!

Next up, we had Ramesh come in for the installation of our new doors and windows. And man, let me tell you, Ramesh is a top-notch installer. He arrived on time, did his job with utmost professionalism, and cleaned up after himself. He even made sure to inspect the area twice before leaving, just to make sure that there wasn't a single piece of rubbish left behind. Now, that's some seriously tidy work!

Overall, we're ecstatic with the service that Vikh and Ramesh provided. These guys are truly stellar at what they do, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs new doors and windows. Joe and Nellie from Toronto, Ontario, Canada approve this message.

I gotta say, a lifetime warranty don't mean jack when you can't even get a hold of these guys when you have a problem. I've had issues with my Clera Windows + Doors for years and it seems like they never get resolved. Every time it rains, water leaks in and makes the drywall crack and bubble. I've had to repaint the room twice now! And to make matters worse, the drain plugs keep falling out! Like, come on guys, is it too much to ask for properly installed windows?

When I called them out on their shoddy work, they sent someone out to recaulk the bottom of the window, but they started in the MIDDLE of the window. Who does that?! And surprise, surprise - it didn't fix anything. I had to patch the job myself, which was a total pain. And to add insult to injury, both my front windows fog up in the winter months, especially when I'm cooking dinner. We have six other windows from a different company and they DON'T fog up. Not even in the kitchen.

After waiting forever and getting ignored, Shawn finally decided to show up. But all he did was make excuses like a typical salesperson. He completely disregarded all of our complaints and acted like it wasn't the company's fault that the caulking job was a total disaster. He even had the nerve to email us a quote to recap, replace the glass, or replace the whole window - all at OUR cost. Like, are you kidding me? Why bother with a warranty at all?

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Clera Windows + Doors to anyone. And to top it all off, I'm STILL waiting for the bug trap. Save yourself the trouble and find another company to work with.

First off, lemme just say that I ain't never gonna use Clera Windows + Doors again. To be real with you, my experience with them was enough to make me wanna pull my hair out. Let me tell you the story.

To make matters worse, a pane cracked just a few months after they finally installed the windows. So I sent them a picture on March 19 and they said they'd order a new one. But then the salesman didn't respond to my emails asking for an update in April and May. Not cool, man.

Then, the salesman finally called me back on May 29, after I left numerous messages at the main office. He assured me that the window was ordered and that it would be installed no later than June 19. But surprise, surprise, June 19 passed and nobody contacted me. So I called customer service, but their mailbox was full. Ain't that convenient?

I kept trying to get in touch with them, but nobody was calling me back. And when the installer finally came to fix the window, he didn't even know I was gonna be away on vacation. What kinda communication is that?

Anyway, I'm not gonna bore you with all the details, but let's just say that it took 181 days for them to finally fix the window. Can you believe that?

To be honest with you, I don't think I'll ever use Clera Windows + Doors again. And if you're thinking about using them, I'd suggest you think again. If their customer service is anything to go by, I don't think you'll be happy with the results.

I bought 4 dang ol' windows and a fancy shmancy Garden Door from Clera Windows + Doors, and let me tell you, it hurt my wallet like no tomorrow. I forked over a grand total of $8,420.00, and would you believe it, they messed up on the size of the Garden Door! That cost me a whopping $3,100.00 more! When they finally got it installed, it leaked like a hot dang sieve. I started seeing frost on the interior whenever it got cold, and rain just waltzed right in through the bottom. And if that wasn't bad enough, the screen don't even slide! All them screws they used rusted and broke off, making it harder'n a bull in a china shop to open and close. I swear to y'all, I got swindled something fierce by these slicksters. And don't even get me started on the "fix" they tried to pull. They just slapped a piece of felt where they thought air was getting in! Talk about half-assed. Save yourself the heartache and stay away from these jokers. Once they got your hard earned cash, they ain't gonna do squat to make it right. I reckon I gotta start a good ol' fashioned Twitter and social media campaign to warn folks from making the same mistake I did. If you're in Cornwall Ontario like me, do yourself a favor and avoid Clera Windows + Doors.

The salesman was pretty enthusiastic about selling me their products and was very attentive before the sale, but everything went downhill after the installation.

The sliding door's lock was busted from day one, and the first time I called them for a repair, it took about two weeks for someone to show up. Got my windows and door from Clera Windows + Doors and dang man, it took a long time to get everything. We ordered it back in July and they said they'd come in October but they didn't. Had to keep calling them up to see what was what and all they gave were excuses, like COVID was stoppin' everything. Psh, like that wasn't a surprise.

Anyway, they said the patio door guys were on strike for 7 whole weeks but we couldn't switch it up with another place. Plus, they're Canadian but everything's made in the US of A. Shoulda known that beforehand.

But here we are, December 1st and still nada. They got our dough but we ain't got nothin' but a no-good war'anty on windows that ain't even there. Man, I wish we never bothered with 'em.

They have caused me and my family a great deal of stress and heartache, and I would hate to see anyone else go through the same ordeal. Please, be careful and choose wisely when it comes to home renovations and the companies that you work with.

This compny Clera Windows + Doors (clerawindows.com) made me to wait for 16 weeks for their promised installation of my new main door. I was told initially that it will be done in 4 to 6 weeks, but i had to wait 8 weeks before i called the company. The sales rep i spoke to then said that it was finished and the installer will contact me for installation, but no one ever did. I had to make several phone calls to Alex, my supposed installer, who kept telling me that he doesn't know anything about it and that he'll check with the factory. He never called me back as promised. Finally, i had to make three calls to customer service before someone attended to my complaint.

Guess what? No one ever called me back after those calls. When the sales rep came back from vacation, i contacted him and he too said that he'll check and call me back. But surprise surprise, he never did. It was already the 15th week and i was already getting angry and upset about the situation. In the end, the installation was done after 16 weeks, after i had to make several phone calls and endure lots of stress.

Honestly, i do not think it was worth paying $5200 for a door that gave me such stress and headaches. The whole experience has left me displeased about this company and i do not recommend them to anyone.

They seemed pretty awesome at first, but like everything else, just wait until there's a problem. I thought I was getting a great deal with Clera Windows + Doors, but boy was I wrong. Turns out their warranty meant absolutely nothing when I ended up having a big draft from one of my windows and even found out there was mold growing inside! When I called up the salesman John to see what could be done about it, he acted like he didn't even know what the problem was and insisted that the window wasn't to blame. And as if that wasn't bad enough, he then told me that if I wanted a second opinion, I'd have to pay $155.00 per hour for someone to come out and inspect it--ridiculous!

What made matters worse was when they claimed that they "thoroughly" checked the window but somehow missed the fact that the crank arm was broken. It's like they didn't even bother to do their job correctly. But what really stank was when they finally got back to me with a useless 10% discount on new windows that were obviously marked up by at least 100%! And to top it all off, they even wanted me to take down my review--like that was gonna happen!

In the end, I ended up replacing the window myself (not with their crappy product, of course) and that solved all my problems. So if you're looking for a good window and door company, I suggest taking your business elsewhere. These guys just don't stand behind their products when the going gets tough.

I gotta tell you guys, my experience with Clera Windows + Doors was just plain awful. I mean, seriously, they should really watch who they let drive their company trucks. One of their guys attacked me out of nowhere while I was driving in Peterborough. Can you believe it? I mean, the dude straight up broke my side mirror and tried to hit me before jumping back into his truck and taking off.

But here's the kicker... turns out the guy who attacked me was the OWNER of the company! Yeah, you read that right. And now he's calling my house and my work, leaving me all kinds of creepy messages. His name is apparently Dave Crawford, Mike Crawford, or James Leclerc. So if you see any of those names pop up when you're dealing with Clera, watch out.

I've even got proof of the messages he's been leaving me. They're from the number ***444, and they're just vulgar and threatening. I mean, what kind of company lets someone like that represent them? Definitely not one that I would recommend to anyone.
