I gotta say, I'm pretty sure Clearview Window & Door Company, Inc. is donezo. They put in one of them fancy Marvin windows for me a while back, but it broke while it was still under warranty. Clearview said they'd replace it by mid-Feb, but now it's way past that and I can't get a hold of them. One of their numbers is straight-up disconnected and the other one ain't picking up. Looks like they're outta business, folks.

I signed a contract with Clearview Window & Door Company, Inc. on 11.19.19. The guy who sold me the stuff was cool and always replied to my messages. But the peeps in the office are not so great. It's Feb 13 now and my storm door is still not installed. I've called them a bunch of times to get an update or a date for the install, but they never call me back. They just take my name and number and then nothing happens. It seems like they only care about getting the first 2 payments and then they don't want to talk to me anymore. It's a bummer because the salesman was really nice.

This biz is good for new stuff but NOT for repairs, even when it's under warranty. They messed up my window install and now it leaks when it rains. It's ruined my wall and floors. I've tried calling and emailing them but they don't care and won't fix it.

So, we had a problem with our bathroom window in December . We heard about Clearview Window on a Christian radio station and decided to give them a try. N came and measured the window and gave us an estimate. He told us it would take about 12 weeks to get the window. Then, a few months later, another guy came and measured the window again. We paid installments as we were told to do. After waiting for 8 months, the window finally arrived. When the guy came to install it, I noticed that the window was much smaller than the previous one. I told him about it, and he said that we would have to pay more to get a bigger window. I was shocked! That decision should have been up to my husband and me, not the installer. I emailed N with pictures on 7/23, and he said he would check into it. But, as of 8/14, I haven't heard anything back from Clearview Window. They came twice to measure the window, but no one said anything about making a smaller window. The new window is almost 6 inches smaller all around. Where's the honesty?

Don't waste your money on CLEARVIEW WINDOW & DOOR COMPANY. We bought siding in March and still don't know when it will be installed. Sam H, the boss, came to our house a few times before we signed the contract, but then he disappeared. We needed windows and siding, and Mr. H said that installing them together would make a "better seal." Clearview's estimate was $4,000.00 more than the company we hired, but we agreed to go with Clearview for the promise of a tighter seal. The windows were installed in June, two months after the contract date, and only after we called and left messages for Clearview. The window installer said that Sam told him not to seal the windows because we were having siding installed. But it's been five months since the windows were installed, and we still don't have siding or a date for installation. We paid Clearview $8,400.00 for the siding deposit, and they haven't contacted us with updates or explanations for the delays. We know COVID happened, but we've been patient. We asked for a refund, but they said we'd only get half because they'd already ordered materials. We filed a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC), and only then did they pretend to schedule the installation. They said they tried to schedule it for the week of October 5th, but we didn't respond in time. We only found out about the date after it had passed. Clearview says it will be a few more months before they can schedule the installation. We'll probably have to wait for an MHIC hearing to get our money back.

I had windows replaced on 3/3/23. One set in a bedroom and another in basement. The bedroom is a crank open window (2) one doesn’t close all the way. The salesman set up appointments to check it. He never showed 3 or 4 times. Now the basement doesn’t open because it hits the ceiling. I was told there is nothing he can do. Why would you measure and install a window that can’t open? I got 3 new doors from Clearview and they said they'd fix them if they broke. One of them broke and I told them I was worried about it when they put it in. They finally sent someone to fix it but he didn't have the parts and now they won't answer my calls. It's been over a year and it's not safe.

We got a storm door from Clearview Window & Door Company, Inc. on 3/8. They said it would take 8 to 12 weeks to install. I emailed the sales guy on May 29th to ask about the door, but he didn't answer. I emailed him again on June 7th and he said he sent my question to someone else, but they didn't answer either. I emailed again on June 9th to say I still hadn't heard back. I called on June 11th and they said the door would come in 2 weeks. I called on June 30th to ask about cancelling, but they said the person I needed to talk to wasn't there and they'd call me back, but they didn't. I called again on July 7th and they said the door would come in 3 weeks. They also said the person I needed to talk to about cancelling just left and no one else could help.

Clearview did our siding four years ago. Some of it started to slip off within the last two years because it was installed wrong. We asked them to fix it when they were doing another job for us. The worker tried to nail it up, but it still looks bad. They called us later and said they would fix it, but the pandemic made it hard to get the materials. We've called them a lot, but they haven't given us a date for when they'll fix it. They emailed us in December and said someone would contact us, but we still don't know when it will be fixed. We want a date for when they'll fix it with the right materials.

On 1/23, I paid $16,920 to get 21 *** windows installed in 12 weeks. On 8/5, they installed (17) windows. On 8/24, I told Rick that one window was messed up. During Christmas week, he sent an installer to fix it, but the installer couldn't do it. After many phone calls, *** sent a man to fix it in January . After he left, I found another problem with the same window. I called Rick right away, and he said he would call ***. In MARCH, Rick called me and asked "what window was that?" *** rep came back and said the installer was responsible. The window was not measured correctly, and there is a gap between the window and the frame. It has not worked right since it was installed a year ago. Rick hardly ever calls back. He hasn't given me a solution. I told his boss about the problem, and he said he and Rick would call me on August 7. They didn't. This company has had my money for over a year. I want the window replaced.

Got some windows and a sliding door from Clearview Window and Door Co. in July . The door has been giving me a headache since day one. At first, Clearview was quick to fix the problem, but then I noticed more issues. I tried to contact them, but it was hard to get a hold of anyone. Finally, Ron came out and said there was clearly something wrong with it. They were going to replace the door, but since then, I've had trouble getting a response from Clearview. I've called and emailed, but they never get back to me. Apparently, my new door is just sitting in their warehouse. It's been a hassle dealing with this since 2018 and they don't seem to care about their customers.

d have been ordered when it was supposed to be, I wouldn't be dealing with this mess. I decided to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere. This experience was a complete waste of my time and money. I do not recommend Clearview Window & Door Company, Inc. to anyone.
