Don't use CDW. Their stuff keeps letting me down. I paid nearly 20k for windows that keep failing and causing big water damage to my place. I reach out to them, but they never send someone right away. I'm telling them to cover all the costs for the damages caused by these lousy windows.

I never signed up for their emails but I keep getting them even though I said no. I live in Toronto, Canada, not California, USA. But I keep getting emails from them even though I never signed up. I tried to stop the spam but it keeps coming.

On May 11 we paid for doors and windows to be made and put in. The workers hardly ever come and when they do, they only work for a little while. The project isn't done yet and we only see the workers when we complain to the boss. Even though the boss is nice, they're not handling the project completion in a professional way. It was supposed to be done in 90 days, but it's been 290 days since we paid.

6/22 ORIGANAL PURCHASE (NOT THE PROBLEM) $***. Life time warranty on Cool Life Coating on our rental at *** XXXXX. Facia boards have areas that are peeling off. Many calls and texts and dates set to fix them with no follow through or calls back to reschedule. After many calls to the boss *** a date of Friday Nov 5th was set for repair (that is the last of many dates set to repair). They failed to show again with no *** back to us. Contract number XXXXX. State lic. XXXXXX.

I left messages. They fixed part of the door. The latch sticks, so opening it takes a lot of effort. I asked for a specific time to meet at my house, but a 2-hour window doesn't work for me. Last time, my daughter told them about the door being hard to open, and they said it was because of new seals. The latch has marks from scraping against metal. I want the door to work properly. We've had a lot of issues with them, but they've fixed everything except this. It's a big problem for me because my shoulder and elbow hurt when I pull on the door. I don't want money, I just want it fixed right.

California Deluxe Windows Industries, Inc. installed seven windows and two sliding glass doors for me. Unfortunately, after a year, both of the sliding door frames turned a dirty yellow color. I reached out to them to complain, and they sent a young technician to try and clean it with alcohol. However, this attempt was unsuccessful. The technician mentioned that he would inform the company about the issue.

After making another phone call, they sent out a second technician who tried the same cleaning method. He told me, "I must have gotten a bad batch." He assured me that he would notify the company and stay in touch. However, two months passed, and despite several repeated phone calls, I was informed that they were waiting for upper management to make a decision.

During my last phone call, I was told that the owner is on vacation for a month, and I would have to wait. It's disappointing because this company advertises a lifetime warranty on the radio, but my experience has been far from the truth. I have been given the runaround for over 18 months.

I bought new windows from California Deluxe Windows in 2017. When I got these windows, they came with a nine year warranty and service guarantee. For the past eight weeks, I've been calling once a week and filing tickets on their website, but I haven't received any meaningful response. After I sent them a demand letter through email, they finally responded with an offer for an appointment. However, they didn't confirm or honor the appointment as I requested in writing. Basically, they didn't confirm the appointment they offered and they didn't show up to service the windows. Overall, they're not very responsive and it seems like they don't want to honor their warranty. If you look at their online reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one facing this issue. I also had problems with this company back in 2017 when they were installing the windows.

Of the $*** I gave to California Delux Windows for my windows and sliding door, I paid *** for the down payment, ordering/pre-inspection, and delivery. CDW promised on 9/20 to install new windows and a sliding door in my house by November . They only installed some windows on 12/01, and I paid for everything that day. You can check the invoice ***. Since February , I've tried contacting *** (Project Manager), Richard (Product Specialist), and other office staff through phone calls, emails, and chat messages in February, March, April, and May . I wanted to know when they would deliver and install the sliding door. But I haven't received any responses or updates about the installation. CDW's #

No follow up, resolutions or solutions to problems caused by installation California Deluxe Window have really let me down. I got a few estimates for replacing five windows; they were more expensive than the others, but what sold it to me was that I would not have repairs or see any damage after installation (along with a lifetime warranty). The window frames of the replacement windows are significantly smaller than the originals, leaving the outside of the house looking awful. Their response was that "they don't paint". We told them this is unacceptable as the poor measurements were their fault. Our contact has been waiting to hear from her boss on how this will be handled. I have had to call repeatedly for updates (for over a month now) and there's been no progress made or solutions provided. There is also a chip in our large picture window, caused during the installation. It was not pointed out to us; we found it when we were cleaning the window following the installation. They said they would replace the window, but again, I'm having to chase them down for updates. It's been over a month and a half since the installation, and nothing has been fixed or replaced. And we still haven't received the paperwork regarding the "lifetime warranty" that was supposedly mailed the day that we got the windows installed.

On April 6, 2022, I agreed to buy/install French doors from California Deluxe Windows Industries, Inc. (or CDWI) for the amount of $*** USD (order number *** / photo 1). So, I paid a deposit of $548.80 on April 6, 2022, and later paid another amount on April 8, 2022. On May 26th, a CDWI employee (named John Smith) came to start installing the door at our place. My wife called me (while I was away for work) and said there was an extra charge of $2,100.00 because they had to replace a 1ft section of wood due to "dry rot." On the afternoon of May 27th, John returned but left because he wasn't feeling well. When I got back from my business trip, I saw that John had removed/dumped several parts of my deck that didn't need to be removed, like a bench and both side railings near the doorway. Also, some flooring planks were taken out, leaving holes where they used to be (see photos). After several calls to CDWI, they finally removed the trailer that had been left in our driveway since May 27th on June 10th. On June 16th, John came back to finish the installation, and the next day (June 17th) he said another CDWI employee named Mike would come to install the missing screen lock. I paid another amount to John before he left that day. But when we inspected the work done by John, it was really bad. An employee from another contracting company fell through one of the replacement floorboards that John had installed. Also, the outside electrical outlet can't be opened because of the poor installation, and the sliding doors are not level, leaving a big gap. We've been told that the doors will start leaking in the next few years. Trying to fix these issues with CDWI has been a waste of time. Please help!
