Citibank review: Terrible credit card company

I've been a customer for 30 years. I pay all my bills ontime and completely. This year I had two months with larger payments. Even though they recieved my payments ontime they sent them to a bill paying service which added 5 days to the process and then charged me service fees and interest. I could not understand why the payment was late since my bank sent the payment via ACH and ontime. After weeks of research, I found out that it was CITI who had the money and sent it to have a bill payment service tho get a check cut to them. They said it was for "security reasons". The refused to credit me the charges until I found the late payment was due to heir processes and not me or my bank. I've got 30 or 40 hours involved in research this issue when they knew all along what was going on.

Recommendation: Don't believe what they say. They can't be trusted
