Citi closed my credit card after 10 years of prefect payment history. Upon connecting them the individual located in India said I would receive a letter explaining why, The letter arrived saying I had currently or in the past had a unpaid charge. Having a credit score of over 830 I immediately contacted Equifax which told me there is no unpaid amounts on my report current or past.
Citi has taken away the reward points I had accumulated amounting to over $900.
They are trying to steal these rewards and of course they have established a barrier so no one you talk to can answer a question. They simply say corporate did it. I wrote to them and they did not read the letter sent we something about reopening account. Like really

Claimed loss: $905.17 plus additional rewards earned paying off balance on credit card. Payments all on time

Desired outcome: Send me a check for the amount of the rewards I earned. I am a senior and will take citi to court out of principle
