This company is the definition of a scam. I bought a one way ticket leaving Antalya, Turkey and landing in Toronto, Canada in October of 2023. I get to the airport and they inform me that there is no ticket in my name. After waiting for another 2 weeks speaking with Cheapoair representatives, they just completely stopped replying to me and now we are in 2025 and still no response when I ask about my refund or compensation that travel agents told me would be issued to me. I would steer away from this company at all costs. 0/10.

We bought an Econoflex ticket on WestJet thru CheapOAir from Seattle to Bacelona and return in 2024. It was more expensive, but we bought it for the bennies. It offers 13 months of use from the original flight date if you can't make your booked flight. There are no change or cancellation fees. CheapOAir said the ticket could be used for re-book travel for just 12 months from the purchase date, which cramped our re-booking by two months, because we purchased the ticket in early June for a flight at the beginning of August, and CheapOAir changed the total length of ticket re-book by a month or more. The original purchase was for our wedding anniversary, so the 13-month period would have allowed us to have our anniversary in Spain, but the CheapOAir's revision of the ticket rules made that impossible. Plus, it made it so much harder to find a house-sitter. I was not able to travel on the original ticket date because of a medical situation. CheapOAir was hostile throughout the process. They even had one of their employees to masquerade as a WestJet employee, asserting the WestJet rules we showed them were bogus, fraud at its best. They all used names that begin with "A" which scared us when we figured it out. After weeks of phone calls, constant lies, they offered a counter proposal for a flight to Paris on the dates we wanted, so long as we paid another $1400 on top of the $3000 we had already paid. I got frustrated and said we would just sue them. The next day, they left messages that they would help us re-book at our convenience. When we called up, they said they had no idea what I was talking about, and proceeded to put us on their "famous" 2-hour hold while they practiced their deceptive skit for the day. They were horrible throughout. I still don't understand what they were trying to achieve. We haven't filed the summons because they refuse to give us an address. I think all of them work in India, with just some call staff in other countries to re-direct the calls. They thought they had muted themselves and we listened while they made jokes about us and called themselves "Modi-Men". I don't know if the Fascist Modi owns part of CheapOAir, but the rebid way they try to hold on to our money might be explained by having to make payoffs to a ruthless dictator. Never, ever book a ticket with these guys. In the 1980s, they were a completely different organization. It's sad.
