They are ignoring me. They don't complete the job. They shouldn't be ComplaintsBoard.com accredited.

I give Chando Construction a one-star rating, but honestly, that's too generous. Their customer service is just plain awful, and I wouldn't trust them to do any home remodeling. I made a deal with them on January 11, 2022, to replace my windows, doors, and roof. The salesperson told me it would take 4-6 months because of shortages, and I was okay with that. But when July 2022 rolled around, I started calling for an update, and guess what? No response for a whole month. Turns out the sales rep had left the company, but nobody bothered to let me know. In August and September 2022, I kept calling for updates, but all I got were lame excuses from the new contact. By October 2022, they stopped responding altogether. So, I decided to have a face-to-face meeting and drove to the address on their business card. But guess what? Chando Construction wasn't there, just some physical therapy place. I found another address, but it was an empty building with a "for lease" sign. Luckily, I hadn't paid any money upfront, thanks to the contract terms. My lawyer told me to send two certified letters saying that Chando Construction hadn't followed the contract terms, and the contract was canceled as of December 31, 2022. On January 17, 2023, I got a call from their supposed office manager, asking why I sent a certified letter and what it said. She blamed it on being overwhelmed with work and lots of staff changes, saying my order fell through the cracks. I told her again that Chando Construction has terrible customer service! Even though it's not necessary, I want a written statement from them acknowledging that the contract is terminated. I'm still waiting for that. My advice: stay away from Chando Construction if you want any home remodeling done.

We hired Chando to build a porch for us in October . We gave them a check for $25,000 as a down payment. The salesperson said it would be done by Feb 1st, 2022. But there was a big delay with the windows. It took almost 5 months for them to arrive. We think they ordered the wrong size because the drawings were wrong. The framing contractor confirmed this, but Chando didn't admit their mistake. Since then, we've had a lot of excuses and more delays. They blame sick workers and make promises they don't keep. The interior finish work hasn't even started yet. We've tried calling the owner, but they ignore us. Texts to the project manager don't help either. It's been months and the project is far from finished.

On October 14 and October 26, me and my wife made a deal with Chando Construction to replace 19 windows in our Farm Manager's house. They said they would take care of everything, like the materials, labor, taxes, and permits. The total cost was $18,650, and we paid half of it upfront. But guess what? It's been months and they haven't done anything yet. We tried to talk to them, and they used to respond sometimes. They even came over to measure the windows again, even though they already did that before we signed the contract. But now, they won't even return our calls. The windows are in terrible shape, some of them only have plastic on them. Can you imagine how high our heating bills are with the winter we had? I get it, materials might be harder to get these days, but come on, it's been 5 months! They should have had enough time to order the windows if they did it back in October. It's funny how they stopped answering our calls as soon as I asked for proof of when they ordered the windows. Thanks.
