AmeriSun hired a subcontractor to install a new electric panel. Part of the contract was to have the electrician install a transfer switch so that we had the ability to switch on our generator when we lost power. Approximately 2 months after the job was completed, we lost power and switched on our generator. Moments later our house was filled with smoke and a bunch of our appliances stopped working. We hired an electrician to come assess what the problem was. The newly hired electrician advised that the electrician hired by AmeriSun wired something incorrectly in our panel which caused the wrong voltage to go through our entire house. This is what caused the smoke and damage to our appliances. Extenuating Circumstances- Initially we were in communication with the owner who insured us that he would take care of the damage. It took us some time to try and figure out exactly what was damaged. Once we were ready to submit the information to the owner for reimbursement, he stopped responding. I got a hold of someone in their office who was helping me again and said the attorney would draft up a reimbursement letter for me to sign. Once again, when it finally came down to payment, they stopped responding.

On July 23, I had a security camera system installed on my house for $3,306. The installer, [installer's name], while demonstrating how to capture pictures/video off the system could not make it work properly. I asked if there was an owner's manual to which he said no. He said it would be easier to use my cell phone but did not show me how. On August 4th, I sent a text to the salesman, [salesman's name], and told him I could not use/replay footage on the system. He said he would contact GSJ Const. and have someone come and show me, and he would get me an owner's manual. On November 1st, I texted [salesman's name] and reminded him of our last text and his promise. No response. On November 8th, I texted him again to let him know I had not received a response from him. On November 29th, I called [salesman's name] and he did not pick up but texted me, "Can I call you later?" I said, "Please." I have not been contacted by him. I called GSJ on [phone number] and left messages on [names of individuals]. The message on that phone only said, "You have reached [person's name]'s phone, please leave a message." No response. I called GSJ on [phone number] on [names of individuals] and could not leave messages because a recording said, "Mailbox full." I was told by [salesman's name] that he would email a copy of the contract to me. Never got it. I'm done. I have been VERY patient for almost 6 months and can't get anyone to respond to me. I want a copy of my contract, an owner's manual, and a demonstration on recovering history off this system. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
