I went to CDI in 2005 doing IT program, didn't have a great experience, as they didn't. 20 years later I decided to go back, figure that after all that time they would've changed. Nope. Was told that IT program was online, but to me online means you go online & instructor is teaching. Didn't expect just to go & read/watch videos on our own for a whole yr. Paid $1600 in "books", which are online so nothing we can keep as we lose access after 1 yr. My program (network system admin) had an internship, first job I was offered was a "data analyst", nothing related to what I was "studying', but in reality the job was a data entry position. Didn't start internship until 4 wks after my initial start date, & hardly did anything. After I was finished I was contacted 6 times by admissions ppl saying how I'm interested in doing the cyber security course. I told them time & time again, how I'm not interested told them how I was very disappointed in my experience. The school doesn't care about students, all they want is us to sign up and go in debt. 7 months after I finished my program, I'm still struggling to find a job. They only care about getting students in & that's it. I read feedback saying we are sorry, but how many times are you going to say that before making a change? I was told to write about my complaints to the campus director. I did, but obviously he never replied/acknowledged.
