Careem Networks — my awful experience
My last experience (booking reference: [protected] dated 05 September, 2017) was really awful. I booked a ride using 'ride later' option to drop me off at Airport. I also received confirmation message including driver information few hours before the scheduled pick up time.
Since there was no contact made by the driver till pick up time, I called him at his mobile and he assured me to reach within 10 minutes. I waited for 25 more minutes but still there was no car there. I called driver again since I was getting late but to my surprise, the driver told me that he didn't receive any message/alert from Careem for my booking and he had no idea about me and that he was with another passenger at that time and can't just entertain my request.
I lost precious time and had to rush to book another driver from Uber and hardly manage to reach before my flight boarding time.
I am sorry to say that this is not the only bad experience I had during my last Pakistan visit, I faced a big issue with another driver couple of days before this incident. However, I tried Careem again ignoring my previous bad experience that it might be due to personal wrong doing on part of a driver. However, due to recurring bad experiences with Careem, I am not interested to use Careem anymore (except for some emergency situation). I am sorry if that is not something you wanted to know ….
