CancelOn cancelon

I sold my $800 booking on the site for a red for Hampton Inn through Hotels.com. I received an email from Cancelon congratulating me that my booking was sold for the price I wanted and saying I would be paid $600 on the day of checkout. When it came time to pay me, however, Cancelon went radio silent. I know they were paid by someone for my room so this is nothing short of fraud and they are no longer responding to my emails.

Soon after this posting I received full payment from Cancelon. Although I didnt get a quick explanation for the 2 week delay in payment, which would have avoided the anxiety, my overall experience was positive and I would use Cancelon again.

CancelOn cancelon.com will cancel your reservation unexpectedly!

Hope you are well.
Unfortunately, we couldn't confirm your reservation with the hotel as our bank did not authorize the transaction.
We had to cancel your reservation and refund you fully.
You will see the refund in your account in next 3-10 working days.
We request you to use a different card for the payment of Cancelon deals

Abbey"

Do not use them if you really need your room to be available for you. They do not care about your plans or reservations, trust me. You WILL be screwed, so don't say you weren't warned.

CancelOn hotel cancellation.

I had to cancel a reservation to cuba which i went to trivago which redirected me to cancelon. On July 28 my mother was rushed to the hospital. The following morning had a septic shock. I almost lost my mother that day. My mother spent 18 days in I.C.U. and then another 14 days more in a regular room. And now as i write she is go on 3 weeks in a rehab center. I reached out to cancelon told them everything that happen and email them the letter from the hospital with my mother's situation. I called them to ask them what was the status on my refund which i never asked for all i wanted was a date change cause my flight was moved ti next year they said no that they only can do a refund. As of today i called them and they told me that they weren't going to be able to do anything for me. This is what you call heartless.

CancelOn Never again

Disappointed to the maximum. Please stay away from this website.
They have let me down, they simply canceled my booking when I was about to leave my home. I wasn't prepared for this and didn't have other options. I didn't need their discounts, I wanted another booking they couldn't provide for the same price. What they offered to me was more expensive. Their customer service was useless.
I regret I didn't choose trustful and traditional ways or websites for booking.

CancelOn Reservation error

Trivago.com utilizes a very unreputable resale co.: Cancelon. The price they charged me for a 1 night stay at the Palm Beach Bradley Park Hotel was $130 more than the hotel charged and I was not able to get a refund.
Bradley Park charged $226, Cancelon charged $330.
Booking reference number 2468974. Cancelon's phone is [protected]. Website Cancelon.com

Email communication began with Cancelon on 3/1 requesting refund and they initially responded no, not understanding the duplicate payment. Numerous communication commenced and today (3/22) they advised me "to sell" my reservation. Seriously? Why is Trivago doing business with such a disputable company? Happy to attach emails.

AVOID! Tried to book a hotel reservation 4 months in advance with Cancelon. When I entered my credit card information, they showed me a price of $279 for hotel plus $55 for taxes, final price $334. I clicked on the BUY button, and immediately got a receipt for $484. Called one minute after booking to say there was a problem, and they responded, "All Sales Final". Escalated to supervisor named Sam, and he tried to make it clear that I was shown the $484 price prior to accepting. Asked how he knew? Was he there? He said they never made mistakes. Stuck to the "All Sales Final" argument. These people are crooks. AVOID!

I'm sorry about your experience, I'm also struggling with Cancelon. I had a reservation for a hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for Sep/9 (Itinerary #442378). I called and sent an email to change my reservation on Sep/7 due to hurricane Irma and hurricane Katia. I stated that I had to cancel my reservation not because I wanted to but because of the weather situation. After almost a month calling Cancelon's customer service and not getting a response to my emails, they finally informed me today that they won't approve a full refund or change the dates of my reservation stating that the hotel wasn't affected by the hurricane. It's easy to say that afterward, the house of my family in Miami wasn't affected either, but before the storm, you just don't know what's going to happen and you have to be insane to travel under those conditions and risk your life or get stuck in a foreign country. I spoke today with the hotel and they informed me that the reason why they didn't change or refund my reservation was that Cancelon contacted them on Sep/14, days after my check in. Cancelon made a mistake and now I'm the one affected. This has to be the worst experience I have had with a third party company. Stay away from Cancelon!

Do not book with them, I don't even know where to start. Either way Cancelon genuinely had me in tears and anxiety for 3 days. We booked for a Hotel in Zakynthos, beautiful villas, 4 months Before we travelled. I did at the time ask them to reconfirm the rates, and dates which they did.

One week (!) before my trip, they said they had a 'technical glitch' and said I was booked in another hotel. The initial offer was - 100% refund OR 50% refund but I can keep my reservation in that Wrong hotel (!). So I researched the hotel, its a Shack in the WRONG GREEK ISLAND! I was aghast that they even suggested giving me only Half my money back if I ...changed my travel plan a week in advance to another island (!). I have now been promised my refund 100% will reach me in 10 working days, so I'm waiting.

Do not book with them, I, like so many others get this 'story' that they book you in the wrong hotel by mistake, or wrong dates 'by mistake' its filthy the way they work. I wont even go into the other 20 emails where they contradicted themselves, at one stage even Re-confirming my initial booking. its incredible their ineptitude. Please, do not ever - for your own financial and mental health - book with them (!). This was mean to be our Couple Getaway week in Zakynthos and a week in advance it has been so difficult to find any decent hotels, I'm upset that their scamming ways have made us start our holiday with me in tears and having to pull out cash to pay for another week at a hotel (in the hope that refund does arrive in 10 working days!). Stay away from them!

It is very difficult to deal with cancelon.com. While their staff was pleasant when I called, no resolution was reached until 1 hour ago and I am checking in to my hotel tomorrow. The reservation was made on March 31st and repeated calls to the hotel to confirm my reservation, even checking with their bulk reservation department, showed no reservation in my name for the dates I booked. It wasn't until my last call to cancelon.com today, wherein I informed them that my next call would be the bank to do a charge-back, that I was finally able to make another call to the hotel 30 minutes later and actually confirm that they had my reservation. This was a very nerve-racking experience. I will never use them to book a room again. BEWARE of the cut-off date for cancellation. They did not send me a confirmation number until after the cancel date and although I was unable to verify my reservation with the hotel, I was unable to cancel the reservation and receive a refund from cancelon.com. Hotel policies give you 72 hours to cancel. Cancelon cutoff for my May 18th reservation was May 10th.
