Bridgevine / Comcastbridgevine/comcast scam

I ordered Comcast starter bundle through Bridgevine for 74.99. I called the number [protected] per bridgevine confirmation mail for installation. They scheduled me for a Saturday 8.00 but no body turned up. I called Comcast directly and they said there is no installation scheduled for my order. Then they scheduled another appointment couple of days later. Now finally I got it installed but there were more surprises waiting. I got the first bill charging me double the amount I signed up for. Called Comcast billing dept and to my surprise, they conveyed the bundle offer I installed got expired ( Yes, even before first bill !! ) so they start charging me separately. Cust service guy keep on offering me another higher packages instead of try to address the glitch. I stop short of screaming at the 1-800-comcast.
Just wondering now what will happen to mail-in rebates Bridgevine offered. Don't fall prey for this scam. Order directly from service providers.

    the scam continues. this morning I googled for comcast internet only service and got to a site says
    it even gave the number that let me reach a comcast rep [protected]. to my surprise, the comcast rep said he could load the website and didn't know who bridgevine was. since bridgevine's web says they were "xfinity authorized retailer" I asked the rep to open a case and confirm one way or another whether bridgevine was "authorized" by xfinity. amazingly the rep said he nor his supervisor could do that. since it appears to be misrepresentation, i asked the case be reported and someone one at comcast to come back to me with a question. the rep's answer is he couldn't do that (or he didn't care). I asked for the investigative unit's contact info. he gave a number that took me through a huge phone tree with everything except for reporting a scam. clearly comast doesn't care about the misrepresentation and who knows they may even condone such act

    I recently ordered comcast Internet and cable. I was quoted a $50 install and a $96 (total+tax) bill through comcast bridgevine. I have a confirmation email staying this. Then 6 hours later I get an email from comcast with my bill total, which is completely different. The modem is $9 per comcast instead of $7 per bridgevine, the instal is $70 per comcast, and there is a $10 few per moth for HD and I was told specifically that Hd and DVR were included in my package. It's pretty unbelievable. I haven't even gotten it installed yet and I have to spend valuable time with customer service and writing complaints.

    I ordered a starter package from Comcast and received a confirmation email from Bridgevine. When I called Comcast to confirm the technician visit, they had no record of it in their account. The Comcast rep even said he never heard of Bridgevine. What sort of scam is Comcast trying to pull? Their customer service is TERRIBLE

    After ordering a new subscriber package for my sister today AND receiving a confirmation mail, I called Bridgevine/Comcast to add a router and modem to my order. They could not find a promo code for my package, told me they'd have to write a new ticket for this package, and that my installation would have to be delayed by at least a week. They said the pkg I ordered was not available in my zip code. My head was spinning, and I got nowhere with the customer service rep. And I learned this only from a call I GENERATED TO THEM. I have no idea if an installer will show up on Saturday, but this scamming by Bridegevine/Comcast only serves them, but not the consumer.

    I also tried to use Bridgevine to get a better deal on my current service. I went through the process ordered the package I wanted and anxiously waited for service. When I called comcast to inquiry about my upcoming upgrade. They kept quoting me the same package at a much higher price. When I finally explained that I was given a different quote, I was given the number to Bridgevine and when I called the they gave me the customer service number to Comcast. This is a big load of manure!!!Please do not waste your time.
