VRBO review: Do not require rental to address problems

There is little positive. I rented a home through these people in Olivia Beach, Lincoln City, Oregon. Paid over $1,000 per night. Check-in time 4:00 p.m. Stood around until 5:30 to access home. There was old food from a previous tenant in the oven, a chair and the fan upstairs were broken. No manager available to discuss problems with. My request for a late check out due to late check in was denied. The only compensation offered was a reduction in a future rental from Olivia Beach. Complaint filed and closed with no resolution. My negative review was replaced by a five star review. How they did that, I can not fathom.
