This place is RIPOFF! Stay away unless you want to go thru a lot more pain than you went thru to get the original tattoo in the first place. They don't have the technology yet to do the procedure correctly yet. I paid a lot of money to only wind up with a messed up tattoo, scarring, mental anguish and over $20k in medical bills as a result of being hospitalized in the ICU for over 10 days from a skin and blood infection as result of the laser tattoo removal.

I am extremely upset every time that I have to call to speak to someone there.

Not only does the office never pick up the phone, nor return the calls but they’re extremely rude

I feel that you have taken my money and you’re not able to provide the service that I paid for

DO NOT GO THERE! Their customer service is just awful and unprofessional. I have been going to body details for 4 years to remove my tattoos and they are still there! They don't give you the right expectation when you sign up, I feel like they just wanted to take my money. I recently moved out of Florida to Virginia and asked if they were affiliated with another company so that I can continue my treatments since I purchased their lifetime package, I informed Jennifer that I will not be flying down to Florida anymore since I don't have ay family there and she replied that I don't need to fly down I can just drive to Miami, . I am guessing she does not know how many miles there betweenVirginia and Florida. I then asked to please speak with someone else and she kept going in circles and kept avoiding my quetions. She then states that she see some fading in my tattoos but that since I am dark skinned it might take longer to fade. I am not sure who's picture she was looking at because I am hispanic white.
I then proceeded to call the Coral Gables office and asked if I could please speak with someone else, they informed me that I needed to submit my complaints directly in their website. I have submitted my complaints to the company website and via their surveys and I am yet to hear back from corporate.
I called the Coral Gables office again to today to try and get a solution, they told me to stop calling them, that they don't handle complaints. The manager at the location Andrea didn't even let me speak, she just said to stop calling her.
I can't get a hold of corporate and the office where I purchased my service does not want to help.
Don't spend your money at this place, they do not care about their customers all they care about is taking your money!

I ENTERED INTO CONTRACT WITH BODY DETAILS ON 03/05/08.I PAID MY DUES IN FULL BY CASH AN ESTIMATE OF ABOUT 2700, IT MAY BE MORE OR A LITTLE LESS.SINCE I PAID IN FULL THE COMPANY HAS BEEN TREATING ME NASTY THEY CHANGE THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT TO ADD NO SHOW FEES AND NOW LATE FEES WHICH I DID'NT SIGN FOR IN MY ORIGINAL CONTRACT. MOVING FORWARD TO MY REASONS OF MY COMPLAINT, TODAY(09/22/10)I HAD A SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT FOR 4:40PM, WHICH I DO ADMIT THAT I DID ARRIVE 5 MINUTES LATE DUE TO TRAFFIC AND THE HORRIBLE PARKING AT THAT LOCATION. UPON MY ARRIVAL I WAS TOLD THAT MY APPOINMENT WAS AT 4:30PM WHICH I KNEW FOR A FACT WAS NOT BECAUSE I LEAVE SCHOOL AT 4:15PM AND THERE IS NO WAY THAT I COULD MAKE IT THERE IN 15 MINUTES THERFORE I SCHEDULED MY APPOINMENT FOR 4:40PM. THE RECEPTIONIST PROCEEDED TO TELL ME ABOUT THE NEW POLICY OF NO SHOWS AND LATE FEE CHARGES WHICH I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT IS NOT IN MY CONTRACT THEREFORE IT DOES NOT PERTAIN TO ME. LONG STORY SHORT WE STARTED GOING BACK AND FORTH FOR THE NEXT 10 MINUTES OR SO ABOUT A LATE FEE, WHEN THEY COULD'VE BEEN ATTENDING TO ME AND COMPLETING THE PROCEDURE I WAS THERE FOR ORIGINALLY.I ALSO WANT TO ADD THAT THE PERSON WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO BE ATTENDING TO ME WENT TO GET COFFEE AND THE ROOM WAS NOT EVEN READY FOR ME ONCE I ARRIVED. ANYWAY AFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH THEY FINALLY DECIDED TO ATTEND TO ME. AFTER I WAS DONE WITH MY PROCEDURE WHICH TOOK LESS THAN 5 MINUTES, THE MARKETING COORDINATOR BY THE NAME OF "LILY VAINSTOK" ASK TO SPEAK WITH ME IN A PRIVATE ROOM IN REGARDS TO THE CONTRACT. SO SHE BEGIN TO DISCUSS THAT I HAVE TWO OPTIONS I CAN STICK WITH MY CURRENT CONTRACT OR I CAN SIGN THE NEW ONE. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT I'M NOT SIGNING THE NEW ONE AND SHE PROCEEDED TO POINT OUT THE NO SHOW POLICY WHICH STATES AS FOLLOW, "(1)IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP TO A CONFIRMEDTREATMENT (NO SHOW), BODY DETAIL WILL RECORD THE TREATMENT AS RECEIVED IN THE TREATMENT SCHEDULE.(2)IF YOU MISS THREE CONFIRMED TREATMENTS, BODY DETAILS WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE YOU WITH THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE OR ANY ADDITIONAL FREE TOUCH UP TREATMENTS.(3)IF YOU MISS FIVE CONFIRMED TREATMENTS YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED A COMPLETE PATIENT. IN ORDER TO RECEIVE FUTURE TREATMENTS AFTER THIS POINT, A NEW AGREEMENT AND PAYMENT MUST BE MADE." SO SHE WAS TRYING TO PERSUADE ME STATING THAT THE NEW CONTRACT IS BETTER BUT EVEN IF I DECIDED TO STAY ON THE OLD CONTRACT SHE REASSURED ME THAT BODY DETAILS DOESN'T ENFORCE THE THE NO SHOW POLICY ON THE THE OLD CONTRACT AND THEY HAVE NEVER TERMINATED A PATIENT DUE TO THE NO SHOW CONTRACT. SO I SAID OK I'LL STICK WITH THE OLD CONTRACT BUT I WILL LIKE A COPY OF EVERYTHING IN MY FILE. SHE SAID NO PROBLEM BUT I NEED TO SIGN A MEDICAL RELEASE FORM. SHE PROCEEDED TO MAKE THE COPIES OF WHAT WAS IN THE FILE AS WELL AS TYPE UP A MEDICAL RELEASE FORM WHICH STATED MY NAME AND I'M REQUESTING MY FILES FROM 03/05/08 TO 09/22/10 TO SEEK FURTHER ASSISTANCE IN MY MEDICAL ISSUE. I WAS DEFINATELY SKEPTICAL ABOUT SIGNING IT SO I TOLD HER I REFUSE TO SIGN IT, AND TO MY KNOWLEDGE I HAVE NEVER SIGNED A FORM WHEN I REQUEST FOR MY OWN MEDICAL FILES. I ALSO EXPLAINED TO HER THAT THE WORDING SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE DISCHARGING ME AND I TOLD HER TO READ THE LAST SENTENCE. SO SHE DELETED THE LAST SENTENCE AND JUST KEPT THE DATE OF SERVICES WHICH WAS 03/05/08-09/22/10. I WAS STILL SKEPTICAL ABOUT SIGNING IT SO I INFORMED HER I WILL LIKE TO REVIEW THIS AT HOME A I'LL RETURN WITH IT IF I FEEL COMFORTABLE AS I DO KNOW CONTRACT LAW ALLOWS YOU THREE BUSINESS DAYS TO MAKE A DECISION BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. LILY THEN GOT UPSET AT MY REFUSAL TO SIGN THE FORM AND PROCEEDED TO THREATEN ME BY SAYING SINCE I DON'T WANT TO SIGN THE PAPER SHE WILL TAKE MY FILE TO CORPORATE AND DISCHARGE ME. I REPLIED BY SAYING, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO DO THAT WHEN I PAID FOR SERVICES AND MY SERVICES ARE NOT COMPLETE. I ASKED FOR THE CORPORATE NUMBER AND SHE BEGAN BOASTING ABOUT WHO SHE IS IN THE COMPANY AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT I CAN DO WHAT SHE SAYS GOES.

im in the coral gables location dont sign a contract with them they are unfriendly and quiet fake, ive been doning the treatment for over 2 years still hair and they said they have to make the treatment stronger and stronger each time but it very painful and they burn me each and every time this time i am scared that i will have scars, my BF is doing his hair removal in another place called paradise i beileve in baptist and his treatment are less then 6 months less painful and friendlier service, please look around there are better technologys and friendlier places!

HA, they told you they had wiring problems at their Coral Springs location? What liars, they had to close that place down because they couldn't pay their BILLS! Please save your money, you have no idea the type of people you're dealing with here.. truly.

STOP! Do not waste your money or put yourself in harm's way! After almost 2 years and more than $4500, I have more hair in some places than I did before. They came back stronger than life. Ready for this? I was laser-burned March 2009 and STILL have the little circular black laser dots all over my leg to this day. Yes ...-filed lawsuit. They used the WRONG machine on me, promising that when patients do not see results, the switch to another machine proved successful. Stay away from Body Details. They are also very dishonest about which hairs should be treated. Fine hairs will ONLY thicken.

I signed up with these creeps in feburary of 2008 wanting to have three somewhat large tattoos removed off of each of my arms and left shoulder/chest. They quoted me in the $15000 ball park area and I was not even vaguely going to get into that debt, So she comes back with some riduclous way she could make it $7900 and guilty of not doing my research I endeavored their offer. They told me it would be a maximum of a year before my tattoos would be gone, A year later they were able to get me in for a grand total of 5 treatments, When I have been early for each one and very flexible in my rescheduling. I have not gone back for the simple fact that I dont necessarily mind dealing with the unbearable pain and spending the amount of money I could've put down on a piece of real estate, But when I have almost nothing to show for it I question my own reasoning. The point being I have seen very minimal results and have progress dated pictures for anyone that thinks im "just a competitor" like I have read above in previous comments (idiot). Not unlike their laser did to my skin, this place should BURN IN HELL!...P.S. anyone interested in pursuing legal matters regarding this ### hole please contact me email-insaneboost04@aol.com thank you for your time!:)

No I do not think that most of these complaints are just upset competitors. My friend and I went to the Coral Gables location for a consultation for laser hair removal and the receptionists there were not welcoming at all.

They made us feel a little uncomfortable because they kept on staring at us. Nonetheless, my friend and I went on with our consultation. When the girl was done explaining, I told to her that we were students and we were going to have to think about getting the laser hair removal since she was asking each of us to pay $200 dollars every month for the next two years for the treatments.

I wasn't even finished talking that she started screaming at us telling us how we have wasted her time and that we should go ahead and get the treatment.

No way now missy!

I haven't shaved in 7 months. Both my sisters are now getting treatments with them and I just sent my husband in to get his back done. Trust me he needed it. My legs are hair free. They were so busy so it was hard to get treatment initially but I was able to stick to my schedule when I booked in advance. They have always given me great service. I would recommend them to anyone. My aunt works for a dermatologist in LA and she said that the lasers they use, Candela Gentle Max, are the best in the biz. I am beginning to think that some of these complaints are just upset competitors. Body Details is great.

This is absurd. I received great treatments. Had 6 tattoo removal treatments done and have almost no ink left. Sorry for your bad experiences but mine was quite the opposite.

I agree with everyone in this forum! Please do not waste your money. I've had about 10 treatments done. The last one about 6 months ago. Needless to say IT IS ALL COMING BACK, THE HAIR ! and I am sooo MAD I even wasted my time and money hoping to get full results! for everytime one of the managers got on the phone to convince me that I was just a matter of time the hair would completly fall off. And let me just add that I am not the kind of person who believes everything they hear. But this proffesionals are trained to pretty much lie to the costumers in their face when they have a complaint. What a scam ! They should be ashamed of the way they are running their buisness. AND YES I REMEMBER having a conversation with one of the main guys who open up the first location in Coral Gables and I clearly remenber the bragging about how much money was going into the decoration as well as marketing of the place.WELL they should really invest in better machines which I Know for a fact " DO " exist. And I sure they know that, maybe be a little more pricy but that may help the costumer retention stragedies. OH NO wait. They take the money up front ! of course : )

okay first of all, I Wish I would have found all these complaints before signing a contract with them. They told me it would take around 4 visits for my tattoo to be totally removed. Well its been 6 visits and I havent seen any results. Every time I have been to Body Details located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida they have different staff, which is very disturbing ( why is this ). The last 4 times I went, my finger blistered so bad I could barely move it. I have of pictures, if anyone wants to see, warning they are graphic not for the weak stomach. I am desperately going try to go to the dermatologist tomorrow 08/03/09. I am also going to attempt to go by Body Details RCA blvd and see what they say about giving me a refund. I am so upset with this matter, I cant even think while im typing (which by the way is hurting my finger). Every time I have called to ask to see
a doctor, they ask why whats wrong and I explain to them what has happened they try to play it off as this is normal. I know this is not normal, something is wrong. Has anyone seen a doctor there ever? Has anyone ask for medical credentials? You know I was so excited about Body Details removing my tattoo I didnt even think of asking those questions which are very important questions. Im not sure anyone there is medically certified to do anything. This is the blister on my finger, if you want to see more pictures let me know. I saw all of these complaints and I have to tell you, I agree, BUT I found a great place in Pembroke PInes, where a Doctor does almost all the procedures, called lasergenex. They did great work, my hair is slowly but surely not coming back. They are the nicest people, fair, good price and clean. Give em a try. http://www.lasergenex.com, Im very happy!

I have been having bad experiences with Body Details myself. I signed up for the Coral Springs location since it was 5 minutes from my house. I treated there once and then was told that they were having wiring problems and had to shut it down temporarily. Now I have to drive 20 miles to Fort Lauderdale for treatments and I can never find anywhere to park. If you are 5 minutes late they make a big deal and want to charge fees for everything. Furthermore, the "P.A." set her laser too high and burned me! I will definitely take action against this place. The receptionist is always rude and their appointments are always inconvenient. I have been seeing results, but after the burning incident I have little faith in them. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't do it with them. They are very unprofessional.

I am creating this post to review a Laser hair & tatto removal company located in the heart of Fort lauderdale.

First of all I have to say that the location is beautiful and that living in the sunrise area their coral springs location was very convenient for me, the only thing is that at the time I signed in for their services that location didn't have a tattoo removal machine, but they promised that during the following week that location was going to receive one, and because of that I decided to go ahead, and paid in advance for a package of hair and tattoo removal for one year. Little that I knew i was going to regret my decision rather sooner than later...
Almost in no time I learned that the coral springs location had no intention of getting the machine like they had promised and not only that ment that I now had to drive all the way to downtown fort lauderdale but I was soon to encounter the worst customer service I have seen in my entire life.
They always advice you to be in time for your appointment but finding parkin in the heart of fort lauderdale is no piece of cake, so there I was late by 8 minutes for the first time, the receptionist not only took her time to finish talking on the phone (it didnt sound like it was a business-related conversation) but then decided to send me back home, I was only 8 minutes late, I had an appointment for both hair and tatto removal treatments, I believe that I was on time for at least one treatment given that I was only 8 mins late and asked her to give me one of treatments, and she refused to, without hesitating, I couldn't believe it, she send me back home, seriously, what kind of business philosophy is that, then she went on and on about how busy they are, oh yeah, did I mention the place was empty?, and that the hair removal tech was sitting beside her literally looking at her nails?... People like this prove to be detremental for businesses.
I then called their call center and talked to a customer service rep that said she could only give me an apointment a month from today, she however was apologetic and tried to be understanding, I calmed down after talking to her, but told her that I just couldn't wait one more month and that I didn't like the service and wished to terminate the contract and get a refund. After being on hold back and forth for about an hour and telling her countless times that I just wanted a refund, she told me someone else was going to contact me for that. I was not mad at her for trying to keep me as a customer, I think she did a fantastic job, I have to admit that I was upset and she handled everything very well.
About 20 minutes later I get another phone call, this time from someone that sounded mad at me for being 15 minutes late, she went on and said that it was my fault and that when you are late is your fault if you don't get any service and that she was going to have to re-schedule me, I have never EVER been asked to go home after being late to a doctors office or at the estheticians office, she also went on and on about how busy they are (I've been there 4 times so far and they are always empty) and how important it is that I arrive on time, I think I arrive in time to receive at least one treatment, I was 8 mins late, the receptionist is a young girl on a power trip, and has no judgement, not only is wrong to send a client home, is even worse when they call you to blame it on you i you didnt get any service, when I asked for a refund she call center rep laughed and told me that I was not going to get any refund because I had signed a contract, when I asked her what the joke was, she just kept saying how wrong it is to be late. She then said someone else was going to call me.
If they are so busy why is that they can't give me my $$ back, the wrong client that was 8 minutes late my money back?
The whole scene just reminds me of the 'meet the parents' movie when Greg ###er is at the airport and the airport is EMPTY and the girl at the gate doesn't let him board the plane because she hasn't called for his road number. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgkvIbsJrD0)
I'm going to give them two days to call me back before reporting them to the BBB (Better Business Bureau)
If you are in the fort lauderdale area and need laser hair removal or tattoo removal, please don't give this company your business, once they have your money (they ask you to pay in advance) they do whatever they want, I can only feel sorry for the owner of this business for having such an incompetent staff

Don't waste thousands of dollars on their laser hair removal! IT DOES NOT WORK. I just want to make people aware of the rip off BODY DETAILS of South Florida is. I have pale skin and dark hair which is supposedly the best candidate for laser hair removal according to Body Details. I am nearing the end of my treatments and all of my hair is still there. In fact, there is hair in places I never had it before now. Do not sign a contract with them! Their guarantee is not genuine. You get a whole year of free treatments and thereafter, you pay a small fee per square inch to get re-lasered. Why would you even get more treatments THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR for something that doesn't work anyway?!?! RIP OFF! Now I am left with all of this debt to pay and nothing to show for it.
