Bob Evans review: 15 minutes

Saturday, January 10, 2026, Parkersburg, WV (Bob Evans by the bridge going across the Ohio River) into Belpre, Ohio. (5:15 p.m.) Heavy rainy night and four cars all parked by the door.

We walk in and we’re greeted and seated beside four other tables with people eating. That’s all that was there. Three waitresses and a male standing behind the counter who was dressed as a chef I believe. We wait and wait for service! I go to the restroom still no one checks on us according to my wife. We wait and wait. We decide to leave after 16 minutes. As we approach the cashier area we see three waitresses standing doing nothing but talking. The one says have a good night. Are you serious! My wife said don’t say a word just leave. We spent the whole day in Parkersburg, WV., at our grandson’s wrestling match. Tired and hungry. We live an hour plus away in Point Pleasant, WV. (Three Bob Evans in a quick drive: Gallipolis, Rio Grande and Ripley, we enjoy going there.) But, never again in Parkersburg, WV.
