I live in California and my insurance is through BCBS of Louisiana. I have been seeing the same provider for several years. She has always been in the National Provider Network. This year my claims for her services are being denied because she is not listed in the National Provider Network. However Louisiana BC has contacted California BC and they have verified that she is a provider. However Louisiana still cannot process my claims as covered because she isn’t listed in the National Provider Network.

Also when I look online to find a covered internal medicine doctor in San Francisco it comes up with only one name There clearly is a problem with the National Provider Network.
