I would like to express my concern regarding the warranty policy for Farm and Fleet batteries. In my view, the warranty should be transferable to subsequent owners. When I purchased a used vehicle, I was actually relieved to see it had a Farm and Fleet battery installed, as I believed the warranty would still apply.
Unfortunately, when the battery failed this spring due to a bad cell, I learned that the warranty was not honored because it was non‑transferable. As a customer, this was both surprising and disappointing. There was no indication at the time of purchase—either on the product or at the counter—that Farm and Fleet battery warranties do not transfer to new owners. Clear signage or labeling would prevent misunderstandings like this.
As it stands, the policy gives the impression that customers are being pushed to purchase a new battery even when the existing one is still within its warranty period. This experience has significantly affected my trust in the brand, and I will be advising my own customers to avoid purchasing batteries from your company unless this policy is reconsidered.
When a product carries your label and a stated warranty period, I believe that warranty should be honored regardless of ownership. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and consider updating your policy or improving transparency for future customers.
