BK & Sons Paving

BK & Sons Paving, Inc. put in a new driveway and basketball hoop for me on 6/10. The hoop was not installed to the manufacturer's specs and the cement footing was not done right. I told Brian K (the owner) about it, but he said it was fine. He also didn't use the rebar that came with the anchor kit. On 2/18/22, I saw that the hoop was leaning and called BK Paving. I talked to Tom and he said he would tell Brian. I called again on 2/23/22 and Tom asked me to send photos. I texted him 2 photos and on 3/4/22, I texted him again to say that the hoop was getting worse. I was worried it would fall. I didn't hear from Brian, so I texted BK a resolution. I asked them to take down the hoop and refund me $500 for the install and $150 for a new anchor kit. Brian texted me back and said he would be in touch on Monday. He didn't contact me, so I texted Tom on 3/8/22. I told him that the replacement cost of the hoop was $1200 and asked if there was someone else I could talk to. Tom said Brian would call me after 12, but he didn't. No one from BK Paving has contacted me as of 3/8. I'm worried the hoop will fall and have contacted someone else to fix it.
