BJ's Wholesale Club Tire center

My husband went to the BJ's in Torrington to replace 4 tires on our car today. He paid for the tires and then the Technition magically realized the tires he paid for on sale with an additional discount bringing them to a little under $600 with installation, suddenly won't fit our car. In addition, they can't get ANY tires in under the sale price at anytime in the near future. So he was directed to the website to purchase different tires at twice the price and with an $80 installation fee. This is classic Bait and Switch which is highly illegal. I have spent my last dime at BJ's and will be consulting a Class Action Frim that I hope will sue this company into dissolution. The Techs in the stores are very pleasant, but the ethics of the Corporation are deplorable.

Desired outcome: I would like them to actually honor their sale price.

BJ's Wholesale Club 3 gallon jugs of water

Hello. On 2 occasions I have installed a new 3 gallon jug of berkley and jenson water only to have the entire bottle empty onto our kitchen floor while we slept. The plastic is brittle and easily leaks. Multiple times I have been in your store to purchase water only to find that many of them are leaking in the aisle, and have difficulty selecting one that is intact. Obviously on 2 occasions I did not select an intact bottle because our kitchen has been flooded. You have no idea what 3 gallons of water looks like when spilled across a home 's floor. I'm a frequent BJs shopper and am so disappointed in this experience. I can no longer purchase water from your store and will have to search elsewhere. The last leaky 3 gallon bottle I purchased was on 2.10.23 at club 153.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate the courtesy of a response. Plz refund me for the two 3-Gallon water jugs. Thank you. Member #[protected]

BJ's Wholesale Club gas pumps Wallingford CT

it is a continued issue regarding the gas pumps in Wallingford, CT. Today 3 pumps were conned off. The location in North Haven seldom has one pump conned let alone 3. Does Wallingford have a pump maintenance issue? this has been an issue for the past year or more. The members deserve better form BJS

lines for gas are very long! Do you agree that members should have to wait in excess of 15 minutes to purchase gas?

BJ's Wholesale Club Discounted $25.00 membership

I have been trying on-line to get my discounted membership for renewal (membership # [protected]) and every time i am in your web page to pay my renewal it changes from $25.00 to $55.00 . Is this a trick? so you can pay $55.00?. I think i will not renew my membership if is $55.00. I am going to remain with COSTCO and SAM's membership only. Thank you very much.

Desired outcome: I will like to receive a membership discount by mail or e-mail.

BJ's Wholesale Club tire service center

My name is Camille Brown and on 11/10/22, I purchased four (4) new tires with installation from the BJ's in North Brunswick, NJ. Within the last month in a half, I have noticed that my car has been making noises but recently the noises have become louder. I took my car to a mechanic shop today on 3/6/23 and was told by the mechanic that the lug nuts on my tires were loose. He said I was missing five lug nuts and the remaining were loose. He said that it was a good thing that I brouught the car in when I did because the tires would have come off. BJ's tire center was the last place that touched my tires. I have wheel locks on my vehicle, so it couldn't have been nonone else. Apparently, BJ's didn't tighten the lug nuts well enough when they installed my tires which caused some of the lug nuts to fall off over time. This incompetence could have caused me to have a accident or worse. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: I want a refund of the monies that I spent on the four (4) tires and for the incompetence.

BJ's Wholesale Club About my membership.

To who may concern.today BJ's with out any my permition at all that I called stealing from me and any other costumer that is a fraud.if i didn't check my bank account like I do every morning I will be paid to the bank $35.00 for each account overdraft that will be $140.00 that BJ's not going to renbuls to me.next time they do it again i will be going to any TV CHANNEL IN CT AND BRING THE COMPLAINT TO THE NEWS.BELEVE ME.

BJ's Wholesale Club Billing

We opened a BJ's credit card after reviewing the perks offered back in July when a new store opened near us. We used the card a couple of times then we received a late notice stating we had not paid with interest and late fee included we immediately called Commenity which is your credit card provider and informed them that we had paid our September bill and could not understand why they said they had not received it. They indicated in order not to show bad credit even though we paid we needed to pay again. Total amount of $290.11 and they removed the late fee and interest and indicated they would investigate the matter. After 3 months we received a letter indicating they had closed the dispute with no resolution. We reopened the dispute and went to our bank to get a copy of the check the bank had sent when reviewing the bank check we noticed that our account ending in 3383 was posted on the front of the check however the back of the check where apparently Commenity posted the check ended in account number 3353. Seemly a simple error to correct. We have called dozens of times spent hours on the phone with various customer service representatives only to be disconnected put on indefinite hold and various other frustrating exchanges and still no resolution. We have gone into our local Port Charlotte Fl store and spoken with the Assistant Manager on several occasions who informed us due to all the trouble BJ's was having with Commenity that starting in March they would be changing Credit card companies. He indicated he had emailed his regional manager and still had no resolution. My husband and I call every week for an update and still no resolution we will be in March tomorrow and they have had our 290.11 since October while that may not seem like much money the frustration and lack of accountability on the credit card company and BJ's is unacceptable. I can assure you I will steer any and all friends and family away from this company as they don't stand by their customers. I even suggested just give us a store credit but still nothing

Desired outcome: Money back plus something for the time, effort and aggravation we have gone through to try and get a refund or store credit.

BJ's Wholesale Club Furniture Delivery

I purchased a sectional sofa that stated White Glove Delivery, assembly and discard trash, told them to cancel if it was not White Glove, they dropped 600lbs of furniture on two pallets in my driveway, last thing I wanted to deal with was this, after multiple emails and phone calls a week later they offered a $40 credit, I have looked at multiple websites that charge $199-$249 for white glove on a sectional sofa. It’s insulting that they offered me that amount for 3 hours of very hard work and pain.

BJ's Wholesale Club Military Discount is a Scam!

BJs advertise on their website, where your membership renewal is stored, this Military and Veterans offer for 25% off membership. You have to verify through the government website IDme.gov to prove your military service. It's a lengthy process but in the end, I was verified and was given a price of $40.00 to renew my membership. Remember I did all of the process on BJs website. One day later, I check my bank account and BJs had deducted $110.00 from my account for renewal. When I called, the rep asked me if I had a screen shot of the military discount I referred to. I was asked to prove to her BJs offered this promotion! I immediately demanded the membership be cancelled and my money be refunded. I demanded emails be sent to prove this conversation had taken place. Then I researched the offer and found proof BJs does advertise this promotion but will not honor it nor document it under your membership profile. The scariest part of all this it seems IDme.gov is in on the scam!

BJ's Wholesale Club Not able to obtain new credit card

I am so disappointed in learning that BJ'S in Seekonk, MA is changing credit card companies. However, the bad news is that the cards aren't available until late February or early March.

This means that as a card paying member I am unable to take advantage of the 10 cent and added 5 more cents off of the gas prices membership when I paid for the more expensive membership.

How unfair to not figure out a way for members to be able to take advantage of this benefit?

And it takes TEN or more WEEKS to process new credit cards? Really?

I'm letting everyone I know learn of this grave mishap that should not have happened in the first place.

Desired outcome: Be able to take advantage of savings on the gas prices.

Hi my Name is Michelet Lauture and Sandra Lauture I'm filling this complaint because today my wife and I and also my two children's went to bj's today as I drop off son first to go get some minor grocery after that my wife went inside bjs' with my little daughter so she can accompany my son to get some more groceries. After they finish shopping they went to the self-checkout line to pay as she already processes to use the self-checkout machine. One of the bj's assistant told my wife she shouldn't be on this checkout line because it's only for costumer with 20 or 22 items only should be on the service line checkout. Remind you, my wife had already started to process her groceries on that machine way before she had told my wife that. After that, she stay and observe my wife on the self-checkout machine until she had finish scan and paid. My son got the reception and give it to my wife. The lady that was observing my wife and my children's she tokes the reception from my wife wanted to recheck and counted all items that was on my wife cart servals time like three times. Like my wife and my children's had stoles something inside the store. My wife and my children’s were so embarrassed and humiliated inside bj's. Store when they came out bj's I was waiting for them at the parking lot my wife and my children's was crying so I had asked them what happen that's when she told me the situations. So I ask them to go back with me inside bj's store so I can get to the bottom of it. I had spoken to the store manager Joseph Bakalar and also spoke to the store front end management her name is Donna M. I had addressed my issue with them regarding this incident the name of the lady that was observing my wife and my children is Mrs. or Miss May. My and I believe she was very prejudice and very unprofessional.

BJ's Wholesale Club Bens original rice 12 lbs

I ordered online 2 bags of Bens Original Rice and cat wet food, paid the shipping cost. I received the package on 01/25/23. The package was broken, both rice bags opened/cut and the rice dispersed/spilled in the box.
When the time comes for membership renewal I am going to cancel my subscription/account if this issue is not resolved to my best interest.

Desired outcome: Send me other bags of rice or return my money

BJ's Wholesale Club television purchase

on 12/24/22 i purchased a tv from bj's on 1/1/2023 the same tv went on sale for 999.00 my original price i paid was $1107 plus tax for a total of$1,231 i called customer care and was informed that bj's would refund the difference that i must wait 6 business days to process my adjustment.i spoke with a maria and the case number generated was 6507273.

at 7:27 pm est i received an email stating that my request for the price difference would not be honored as i waited past 7 days however i spoke with bj's on 1/1/23 and 1/2/23 with a holiday christmas and the stores we're closed

i recieved erroneous information from bj's customer service as i wasn't told i must return to the store where i picked up the tv as it was purchased online for an in store pickup. to recieve a refund in price differece.

it took maria 16 days to work on my claim and blames it on me in her email

i did everything i could to resolve this via phone

Desired outcome: i would like a refund of the difference between original price paid and the on sale price by the way the television is still 999.00

BJ's Wholesale Club Travel services

I booked an air + hotel + airport transfer package on the BJ's travel website. Nowhere on the website does it indicate that the services provided are by a third-party agent (Price-Line). The airline portion of the package was cancelled a few hours before flight time. The airline did not offer an alternative that would have allowed me to get to the hotel in time. With no options available, I opted to cancel my booking. Later, after numerous attempts to call BJ's travel website to cancel the hotel reservation, I realized that the agents answering the phone are non-English speaking from outside the USA. They will say anything to get you off the phone. They continuously indicated that the hotel was non-responsive. I’m not sure why. I cancelled the booking because one party of the package did not honor their part. How do I get to the hotel in the Dominican Republic without an available flight? Why am I losing thousands of dollars for no fault of mine?

The fact that BJ's does not make this clear on their website that I will be held be responsible even if the vendor cancels a part of the package OR that the website is managed by a third party, I would have never booked my holiday on BJ's travel website if I had known this. This is clearly deceptive marketing policy! This should not have happened.

I lost money and my planned vacation!

Desired outcome: I would like my money back or credit towards a future vacation.

BJ's Wholesale Club A boxspring I bought

I bought two boxsprings on December 30,2022. One of them was fine but the other one had the bottom lining ripped off. I had to rent a truck to get these items and I had to pay for gas and milage. I called the customer service number and got hung up on. Called again and they would put me on hold for a long time. When I spoke with somebody about it I was told to bring it back and I explain I had to rent a truck to get this to my home and I was not going to pay extra gas and milage. I was put on hold again and nobody came back to answer the phone. I don't have a staple gun to repair the lining so now I'm stuck with a damage boxspring. Not very good customer service at all. No apology or let's see what we can do to solve the issue. Horrible customer service I'm very disappointed.

Desired outcome: I would like some kind of discount since I bought a new not used boxspring

BJ's Wholesale Club Pricing Vitiams C twice the price of Costco

On 1/09/23 I went shopping at the BJs at Midlothian Va. I had shop there before and was impress with all the inventory available. One of the items I purchased was Vit #[protected] Vit C for $25.99 and later I found at Costco (which is closer to where I live) for $11.99, almost 2 times the price. Now I realize you can charge any price you wish. However, this brings some concern to my mind about pick out an item and not comparing the price at others.

BJ's Wholesale Club Lack of providing manufacture

I have been to the store twice and communicated several times via email. The issue is still not resolved. All I need is the manufacturer for the Glendon sectional sofa UPC# 272726, as one of my handles broke. I also emailed [protected]@bjs.com several times and still no reply whatsoever. They’ve given me three wrong contacts so far.
