BJ's Wholesale Club cancellation of an item that I was assured was processed after verifying charge

I placed an order online for a 65" Samsung QLED TV (order #[protected]) on 30 Nov 2019, which Harrison authorized the charge of $1348.00 on the same date, as he received a text alert notifying him of the charge. I received an email on 30 Nov 2019 notifying me that the order had been cancelled. I called (800) 257-2582 at 5:01pm from my cellphone [protected] to clarify this and was told that the order was placed on hold due to possible fraud and it needed to be verified before they would ship it. I was reassured at the end of that conversation that everything was good and the item would be shipped out after being on the phone with them for 10min, 33 secs. I also was told that I would receive an email to [protected]@ashleyinvestmentgroup.com, which never happened. I attempted to call on 2 Dec 2019 to verify item was going to be shipped, as no email had still be received but BJs was already closed at 7:03pm. I called again today, 4 Dec 2019, at 620pm and spoke with Angela, as I had not received a call from the shipping company, as the TV's estimated delivery date was 3-5 business days and we were now at day #3 and no phone call from shipper as of yet. I was informed that the item in question (65" Samsung QLED TV) was cancelled, which infuriated me, as the Perks Promotion was now over and I could now lose my 15% cash back. This issue was supposed to be fixed. I was assured that both the Perks rewards was fixed and the TV was reordered and would reach the delivery company by the next morning. I was instructed by Angela to call (844) 215-0640 in the morning to check on the status using order #MC10352674, which I did at 2:12pm on 5 Dec 2019 (day #4). I was informed that they did not have anything listed under my name or the order number, which to be honest was not a surprise to me. I called BJs customer service back again and was given a tracking number and then called (844) 215-0640 at 4:07pm gave them the tracking number and still not able to bring any order up. By this time, I was so pissed off quite frank that if I would have called BJs back at that time who knows what would have happened, so I waited until 1148am on 6 Dec 2019 and waited for them to return my call, which happened at 1157am. I was on the phone with the staff member for less than 2 minutes, lost connection and received no call back. I then called back at 12:04pm and opted for them to call me back, which occurred at 12:11pm. After the 30minute conversation, the end result is that CIVA in Durham had my TV at approximately 5pm yesterday and I received no call from them, as this item should have been received TODAY...I was informed by your staff member that I would get a call either Monday or Tuesday regarding scheduling shipment, which means it is going to take 7+ days to receive an item that was supposed to be received in 3-5 days. This is not acceptable considering BJs is the one who cancelled the order erroneously and this could have been totally avoided. My question is what is BJs going to do to make this right. I should not have to wait extra time because they made the mistake. I did everything to ensure that my credit card was verified and valid on Saturday to ensure there would be no problem but I feel it was to no avail. I don't think this is good customer service and the first step should have been not a text to verify charge but a text with instructions to call customer service to verify charge if ultimately this was needed to process the order and please tell me how this order ultimately got cancelled anyway...

BJ's Wholesale Club excess sales tax charged on items

I bought 2 items 11/17/19, and both items had big credits for the items. One item cost $37 and had a $17 rebate and the other item cost $20 and had a $6 instant rebate. I was charged sales tax on the GROSS price, not the NET. I then had to return one of the lesser price items and was given credit on the NET cost of the item.
BJ's is the only club that does this. Sam's and Costco CHARGES SALES TAX ON THE NET OF THE ITEM. I called BJ's Customer Service to complain about the tax on the GROSS. I purposely didn't mention the return. Of course, the rep said "It's BJ's policy to charge this tax based on the state you buy it in..." "Really" I said, "then why was I only credit tax on the NET of the item when I returned one?" I guess the rep couldn't come up with a good answer so he offered me a $5 BJ's Gift Card that I accepted. So I'll spend my gift card when I get it, then cancel my membership in a very terrible club.

I am very disappointed in the 2 tier cake I bought for my grandsons baby naming. The decorations were like a 5 year old did it. I have purchased cakes from this BJs in the past and never had a problem. They should be ashamed to charge $30 for a cake that I could have made for a lot less and decorated the way they did. All they did was write words no decorations.

BJ's Wholesale Club unauthorized charge for a membership

I woke up checked the bank account and saw that BJs had withdrawn $110 from my account. I haven't been to BJs in a long time. Because of that money being withdrawn it made all my bills bounce. So I incurred over 200 dollars in overdraft charges, then I had to cancel my atm card and pay another $35 for a stop payment, because the bank told me that it wOuld be a recurring charge.

I will never go to a BJs again!

The Bjs in Elsmere De has a very hostile work environment. Working there i was under constant scrutiny while others didnt have to follow protocol. I made a tire rotation appt.first week of October it took my three days because no one answered the phone.You can't even dial into customer service no one answered.I finally dialed into the bakery who transferred me to service center to make appt which I did.I had bought four tires so I get free rotations.I had to cancel appt.and reschedule.Here we go again...

BJ's Wholesale Club packaging change for the rotisserie chickens

This is as much a suggestion as a complaint. I have been a BJ's member for over 15 years. I am a major fan of the rotisserie chickens, buying at least 2 a week if not more.

Recently, the packaging has changed form a very convenient bag that the rotisserie chicken came in, to a ridiculous two-piece plastic tray with a plastic lid. To start with, the two-piece packaging DOES NOT stay together, causing grease to leak in the shopper's cart on items, on the store floor and on the checkout conveyor belt. Secondly, it leaks in my shopping bags and in my car before I get it home.
Whichever marketing group made this decision, it was a TERRIBLE one!

Management at this bjs is very complacent with doing things the wrong way. They allow team members to operate equipment and machines they have no training for and potentially get extremely hurt. BJ's Wholesale Club refund on airlines submitted to bjs and not yet refunded to customer

It will be 8 weeks next Wednesday and I still have not received a refund for the airfare part of a vacation package (Sun Country Airlines cancelled all flights from PVD to PUJ). I have paid for the new airfare (American Airlines) and BJs has not credited my credit card for the Sun Country Airlines airfare. I have called India many times and find it hard to communicate with the assistants. They keep telling me that my refund has been released and won't give me the "definition" of what release means. I am about to contact the MA Attorney General's office and/or BBB since I cannot speak with anyone at BJ's other than their outsourced third parties in India.

BJ's Wholesale Club bj's diaper

I'm very disappointed with the Bj's diaper of late. I was a big fan of them for my twins. The quality and absorbtion was on par with the big box brands. But recently, the qualtiy has gone down. The diaper is flimsy. My son didn't even pee in the diaper and the seams were starting to come apart. When he did pee, the stuffing just fell out of his diaper creating a mess. Please fix the quality issue.

This complaint is about a purchase I've made on September 2019, and the manager Ms. Gladys treated me like a criminal making miss my doctor's appointment by falsely accusing me of stealing, Her supervisor later apologizes. No every time I'm shopping Ms. Gladys manager start to harass my person by following me around the store in retaliation of my internal complaint made with her manager on the same day of the incident

BJ's Wholesale Club I fell and no one asked if I was ok

At around 10:25 I fell because the floor was slippery I laid there on the floor for a good 30 seconds bc I couldn't get up... i felt like a cow bc everyone was looking and no one said anything... I came to the table and was telling my friends and the waiter started giggling about It. I feel so embarrassed... HORRIBLE SERVICE... NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN. Also I have horrible knee and shoulder pain. You can go ahead and check the cameras!
