Disappointing Experience with BetterMe: Technical Issues and Poor Customer Service
I signed up for BetterMe in January and boy, was I excited to get started on my fitness journey! However, I ran into some issues logging in and it took several weeks to resolve. I was pretty frustrated by this point, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and continue with my subscription at $30.99 a month.
Unfortunately, my troubles didn't end there. I reached out to cancel my subscription and signed up with a different service provider, but I soon realized that I was still being charged by BetterMe. I contacted them again to cancel my subscription, but to no avail.
I decided to call PayPal to cancel the subscription and then, on a whim, I decided to give BetterMe another chance. I was charged again for the trial, but I still couldn't log in. At this point, I was fed up and wanted a refund.
To my surprise, I received an email from BetterMe explaining how to log into my app to cancel my subscription. However, they didn't seem to understand that I was unable to log in in the first place! I was starting to think that they were being deceptive, but then something strange happened. Prior to receiving that email, the box for my password was grayed out and I couldn't enter anything. But suddenly, after receiving the email, the box worked perfectly fine. Hmm...
I can only assume that they cancelled my subscription and are planning to keep the monthly service fees for the months that I was unable to log in. It's a shame, really, because I was really looking forward to using their services. But I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
Overall, I would say that my experience with BetterMe was pretty disappointing. I understand that technical issues can happen, but their customer service left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone, especially if you're looking for reliable and trustworthy support.
Disappointing Experience with BetterMe: False Promises and Difficult Refund Process
So, I was browsing the internet and stumbled upon BetterMe (betterme.world). I was intrigued by their promises and decided to give it a try. After signing up, they offered additional products that cost a bit more, but I decided to give it a shot. However, as soon as I opened the site, I realized that this is not what I thought it was. I was disappointed and decided to cancel my subscription within 15 minutes of signing up.
I reached out to their customer service, but they responded saying that they were out of the country and couldn't process my request at that moment. Later on, they responded saying that I had to try the program for 7 days and send them the results before I could get a full refund. I explained that the program was not what I expected it to be and asked for a refund again. If I could have seen the entire program and processes they recommend, I would have never signed up for it in the first place!
It's frustrating that they promise so much, but you won't get to see the full process until you pay to sign up. I have asked for a refund four times now, and I see that other people have had the same difficulty. It would be better if they just gave the refund and avoided these kinds of remarks from coming up, especially within 15 minutes of signing up!
I hope that I will see that I have been refunded soon. It's disappointing that they didn't live up to their promises, but I hope that they will improve their services in the future.
BetterMe App Review: Beware of Hidden Subscription Fees and Unresponsive Customer Service
Yo, I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with BetterMe. I downloaded the trial, but then they went and asked for my credit card details. Like, what the heck? I didn't even like the app, so I didn't want to subscribe, but they went ahead and charged my card anyway without even asking me if I wanted to continue or not. That's just not cool, man. So now I'm stuck trying to get my money back. I mean, come on, I don't want a subscription!
But here's the thing, folks. You gotta read the fine print. Apparently, if you sign up for BetterMe, you're automatically subscribed to their payment system. And they'll just take your money without warning. That's what happened to me. And when I tried to get a refund and cancel my subscription, I didn't get any response after sending a few emails. It was like they were ignoring me or something. But you know what finally got their attention? Leaving a bad review. Yeah, that's right. As soon as I did that and referenced it in my email, they finally responded and refunded the amount. So, if you're having trouble with BetterMe, leave a review if they don't respond and make sure to cancel your subscription in time so they don't take another payment. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.
Mixed Feelings: My Experience with BetterMe's Three-Month Plan
BetterMe caught my eye, so I decided to give it a shot and purchased the three-month plan. Once I received the app, I was overwhelmed with information. There was so much to take in that I didn't know where to start. I decided to take a look at the recommended food, but unfortunately, most of it wasn't to my liking. I spent a lot of time answering questions, hoping to receive a personalized plan, but that wasn't the case. Instead, I was bombarded with even more information, leaving me to figure out what to do on my own.
The "Money Back Guarantee" was also a bit of a hassle. Unlike other programs that offer a no-questions-asked refund, BetterMe requires you to jump through hoops to get your money back. You have to take screenshots, use the program for days, and then send a letter to request a refund. Even then, they may not give you your money back. Judging from other reviews, it seems like getting a refund is unlikely.
Despite these issues, I'm going to try my best to make the most out of the program. I'll just have to accept the fact that I may have lost some money in the process.
BetterMe: A Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service and Billing Issues
I gave BetterMe a shot for a whole month, but it just didn't do it for me. I wasn't impressed with the program and decided to cancel my subscription. I followed the steps on their website and thought I was done with it. But then, to my surprise, they charged me again the next month! I was not happy about this at all.
I tried to contact them, but all I got was an email saying that "a human" would get back to me when they could. I went back to the website and tried to cancel again, thinking maybe I did something wrong the first time. But then I was told that an email would be sent to me, and it never came. I tried again and again, but still no luck. I was hoping that when this "human" finally contacted me, we could work it out.
But it's been a whole month now, and I still haven't heard from anyone. To make matters worse, they charged me AGAIN! And I got the same email saying that a human would contact me. This is just ridiculous.
I have three ID numbers that I'm still waiting for a response on: ***, ***, ***. This is not how a professional business should operate. It's completely unacceptable.
If you're thinking about using BetterMe, I would suggest looking for another app that values its customers and respects their right to cancel their subscription without any hassle. Save yourself the trouble and go with a company that actually cares about its customers.
Disappointing Experience with BetterMe: Useless App, Confusing Exercises, and No Customer Support
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with BetterMe. Seems like I'm not the only one either, since I've seen a lot of people complaining about the same issues I'm having. I tried emailing them for a refund and to cancel my subscription, but no one ever got back to me. I only wanted to try it out for a week, but they charged me for a whole month for some reason. And let me tell you, I didn't even use it for a single day. The meal plans were a letdown and the exercises were confusing. The app itself was pretty useless, to be honest.
I'm really disappointed with the whole experience. I've emailed them multiple times and even tried messaging them on here, but still no response. It's frustrating because I feel like I'm being ignored. I'm seriously considering contacting my bank to cancel the charges, but I'm worried they'll try to charge me again.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend BetterMe to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and just pay for a nutritionist and gym membership in person. It'll probably end up being cheaper in the long run anyway. Or at least you won't have to deal with the headache and disappointment that comes with using this app.
Oh, and just to update you guys, someone from the BetterMe team did message me back. But when I tried to email them again, I still didn't get a response. And I even waited a few days to see if they would reply. No luck. So yeah, not impressed at all.
Refusing to refund initial payment
Refusing to refund initial payment. I bought the service yesterday for €27 but was also charged €59. I message customer support asking to cancel my subscription and refund me but they only refunded me the €59 but refused to refund me the €27 because order has expired I ony bought the service yesterday. And they claimed the refund of €59 given to me was a goodwill gesture. How can it be goodwill gesture when they have billed me unknowingly?!
Won't recommend because if hidden catches and hidden charges. I have installed the app yesterday after paying subscription but I haven't login after an hour of installing and have deleted the app since.
Desired outcome: Full refund of initial payment
Cancellation does not work
I decided to sign up in February but once I made the initial payment I was getting hit with upsells which I had thought from their ads was part of what I purchased, so I immediately asked to close my account. I emailed support. They send an autoresponder telling you they will get back to you, but they never do. The cancellation process takes you in a circle and in the end does not work and they continue billing month after month.
Desired outcome: I would first and foremost like to have the account closed and no more unauthorized automatic payments processed. I would like to have a refund for the months since my first email telling them that I wanted out.
Cancelling BetterMe Subscription: Frustrations and Satisfaction with Customer Service
I, like many others out there, came across BetterMe and was intrigued by the idea of being able to improve my health and overall wellbeing through an app. Excitedly, I signed up for the subscription and started exploring what the platform had to offer. However, after a brief trial period, I realized that it wasn't quite what I had hoped for and decided to cancel my subscription.
And, like many others, I faced the all-too-common issue of not receiving a prompt reply to my cancellation request. While I understand that companies can sometimes be overwhelmed with requests, it's understandably frustrating to have to go through multiple channels just to cancel a subscription.
Luckily, after a bit of waiting and patience, I was eventually able to get in touch with someone at BetterMe and cancel my subscription. And I have to say, the customer service experience was positive - all communications were friendly and cordial, even in the face of my frustration.
So while my initial experience with BetterMe may not have lived up to my expectations, I was ultimately satisfied with the way they handled my cancellation request. And who knows – maybe they'll address some of the issues I encountered and become a truly great resource for those looking to improve their health!
BetterMe Review: Unresponsive Customer Service and Shady Business Practices
As a concerned user, I feel a need to share my experience with BetterMe. I have been trying to get a refund from them for quite some time now, and it is definitely not an easy process. I have sent them four different emails requesting a refund, but unfortunately, I have only received a response to one of those, and that too was just to cancel my subscription. As I don't recall ever agreeing to a subscription in the first place, this is unacceptable and very misleading.
Despite being promised a cancellation, I have still been charged once again. Reaching out for help has been fruitless, as I have yet to receive a response from their customer service. This lack of communication has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. I can confidently say that my experience with their customer service has been nothing short of horrible.
Furthermore, I believe that BetterMe is a scam and does not have its customers' best interests at heart. I strongly advise against sharing your personal information with them, as I have now become a victim of their lack of transparency and shady business tactics.
In conclusion, BetterMe has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with their poor customer service and unethical practices. I hope that others can learn from my experience and avoid falling into the trap of this unscrupulous company.
BetterMe Review: Unreliable App, Exorbitant Charges, and Inadequate Customer Service - Steer Clear!
If you're considering signing up with BetterMe, my advice would be to steer clear. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been quite frustrating and unsatisfactory. Like many other reviewers here, I too have been charged twice ($29.99 and $25.99) on my PayPal account but have received nothing in return for my payment.
The first step I took was to download the app and attempt to access the content I had paid for. However, upon entering my sign-in information, I realized that there was no record of my purchase on the app. Furthermore, every feature that I tried to use prompted me to enter my payment information again, which was simply not acceptable. Naturally, I felt quite irritated and even disgusted, as this felt like an obvious attempt to just extract more money from me without delivering on their promise.
But what proves to be even more frustrating is the complete lack of customer service offered by BetterMe. There is no phone number to call to speak with a representative, and any messages or inquiries sent my way have remained unanswered. Clearly, there is a serious problem with BetterMe's customer service, which begs the question: do they even care about their customers at all?
Overall, I would wholeheartedly not recommend using BetterMe. The combination of the exorbitant charges, unreliable app performance, and inadequate customer service make for an unappealing package. In short, you're better off investing your money and time into a different service provider who is more trustworthy and responsive to customers' needs.
I did not sign up for this service and was charged a
