This hospital cancelled my payment plan while I was actively and regularly paying the agreed upon amount which was being autodrafted from my checking account. After ordering a new debit card and then updating their system accordingly, they said I skipped a payment at some point and while I was regularly paying they cancelled the payment plan and sent it to collections. They didn't even send me a message through their own platform MyChart to notify me of any issues or that they were cancelling. When I called to speak to a CSR, she told me they don't have anything to do with making a decision it is system generatged and they don't have the staff capacity to try more outreach to a patent in an active payment plan before taking adverse action.
Claimed loss: A credit collection now on my credit report!
Desired outcome: Take this off of my credit bureau as a collection since I was actively paying through an autodraft set up with them!
